Jesu ati Sakiu
1 JESU si wọ̀ Jeriko lọ, o si nkọja lãrin rẹ̀. 2 Si kiyesi i, ọkunrin kan wà ti a npè ni Sakeu, o si jẹ olori agbowode kan, o si jẹ ọlọrọ̀. 3 O si nfẹ lati ri ẹniti Jesu iṣe; kò si le ri i, nitori ọ̀pọ enia, ati nitoriti on ṣe enia kukuru. 4 O si sure siwaju, o gùn ori igi sikamore kan, ki o ba le ri i: nitoriti yio kọja lọ niha ibẹ̀. 5 Nigbati Jesu si de ibẹ̀, o gbé oju soke, o si ri i, o si wi fun u pe, Sakeu, yara, ki o si sọkalẹ; nitori emi kò le ṣaiwọ ni ile rẹ loni. 6 O si yara, o sọkalẹ, o si fi ayọ̀ gbà a. 7 Nigbati nwọn si ri i, gbogbo wọn nkùn, wipe, O lọ iwọ̀ lọdọ ọkunrin ti iṣe ẹlẹṣẹ. 8 Sakeu si dide, o si wi fun Oluwa pe, Wo o, Oluwa, àbọ ohun ini mi ni mo fifun talakà; bi mo ba si fi ẹ̀sun eke gbà ohun kan lọwọ ẹnikẹni, mo san a pada ni ilọpo mẹrin. 9 Jesu si wi fun u pe, Loni ni igbala wọ̀ ile yi, niwọnbi on pẹlu ti jẹ ọmọ Abrahamu.

11 Nigbati nwọn si ngbọ́ nkan wọnyi, o fi ọ̀rọ kún u, o si pa owe kan, nitoriti o sunmọ Jerusalemu, ati nitoriti nwọn nrò pe, ijọba Ọlọrun yio farahàn nisisiyi. 12 O si wipe, ọkunrin ọlọlá kan rè ilu òkere lọ igbà ijọba fun ara rẹ̀, ki o si pada. 13 O si pè awọn ọmọ-ọdọ rẹ̀ mẹwa, o fi mina mẹwa fun wọn, o si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ mã ṣowo titi emi o fi de. 14 Ṣugbọn awọn ọlọ̀tọ ilu rẹ̀ korira rẹ̀, nwọn si rán ikọ̀ tẹ̀le e, wipe, Awa kò fẹ ki ọkunrin yi jọba lori wa. 15 O si ṣe, nigbati o gbà ijọba tan, ti o pada de, o paṣẹ pe, ki a pè awọn ọmọ-ọdọ wọnni wá sọdọ rẹ̀, ti on ti fi owo fun nitori ki o le mọ̀ iye ere ti olukuluku fi iṣowo jẹ. 16 Eyi ekini si wá, o wipe, Oluwa, mina rẹ jère mina mẹwa si i. 17 O si wi fun u pe, O ṣeun, iwọ ọmọ-ọdọ rere: nitoriti iwọ ṣe olõtọ li ohun kikini, gbà aṣẹ lori ilu mẹwa. 18 Eyi ekeji si wá, o wipe, Oluwa, mina rẹ jère mina marun. 19 O si wi fun u pẹlu pe, Iwọ joye ilu marun. 20 Omiran si wá, o wipe, Oluwa, wò mina rẹ ti mbẹ li ọwọ́ mi ti mo dì sinu gèle: 21 Nitori mo bẹ̀ru rẹ, ati nitoriti iwọ ṣe onrorò enia: iwọ a ma mu eyi ti iwọ ko fi lelẹ, iwọ a si ma ká eyi ti iwọ kò gbìn. 22 O si wi fun u pe, Li ẹnu ara rẹ na li emi o ṣe idajọ rẹ, iwọ ọmọ-ọdọ buburu. Iwọ mọ̀ pe onrorò enia ni mi, pe, emi a ma mu eyi ti emi ko fi lelẹ emi a si ma ká eyi ti emi ko gbìn; 23 Ẽha si ti ṣe ti iwọ ko fi owo mi si ile elé, nigbati mo ba de, emi iba si bère rẹ̀ ti on ti elé? 24 O si wi fun awọn ti o duro leti ibẹ̀ pe, Ẹ gbà mina na lọwọ rẹ̀, ki ẹ si fi i fun ẹniti o ni mina mẹwa. 25 Nwọn si wi fun u pe, Oluwa, o ni mina mẹwa. 26 Mo wi fun nyin pe, Ẹnikẹni ti o ni, li a o fifun; ati lọdọ ẹniti kò ni, eyi na ti o ni li a o gbà lọwọ rẹ̀. 27 Ṣugbọn awọn ọtá mi wọnni, ti kò fẹ ki emi ki o jọba lori wọn, ẹ mu wọn wá ihinyi, ki ẹ si pa wọn niwaju mi. 28 Nigbati o si wi nkan wọnyi tan, o lọ ṣaju, o ngòke lọ si Jerusalemu. 29 O si ṣe, nigbati o sunmọ Betfage on Betaní li òke ti a npè ni Olifi, o rán awọn meji ninu awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀, 30 Wipe, Ẹ lọ iletò ti o kọju si nyin; nigbati ẹnyin ba nwọ̀ ọ lọ, ẹnyin o ri ọmọ kẹtẹkẹtẹ kan ti a so, ti ẹnikẹni ko gùn ri: ẹ tú u, ki ẹ si fà a wá. 31 Bi ẹnikẹni ba si bi nyin pe, Ẽṣe ti ẹnyin fi ntú u? ki ẹnyin ki o wi bayi pe, Oluwa ni ifi i ṣe. 32 Awọn ti a rán si mu ọ̀na wọn pọ̀n, nwọn si bá a gẹgẹ bi o ti wi fun wọn. 33 Bi nwọn si ti ntú ọmọ kẹtẹkẹtẹ na, awọn oluwa rẹ̀ bi wọn pe, Ẽṣe ti ẹnyin fi ntú kẹtẹkẹtẹ nì? 34 Nwọn si wipe, Oluwa ni ifi i ṣe. 35 Nwọn si fà a tọ̀ Jesu wá: nwọn si tẹ́ aṣọ wọn si ẹ̀hin ọmọ kẹtẹkẹtẹ na, nwọn si gbé Jesu kà a. 36 Bi o si ti nlọ nwọn tẹ́ aṣọ wọn si ọ̀na. 37 Bi o si ti sunmọ eti ibẹ̀ ni gẹrẹgẹrẹ òke Olifi, gbogbo ijọ awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ bẹ̀rẹ si iyọ̀, ati si ifi ohùn rara yìn Ọlọrun, nitori iṣẹ nla gbogbo ti nwọn ti ri; 38 Wipe, Olubukun li Ọba ti o mbọ̀ wá li orukọ Oluwa: alafia li ọrun, ati ogo loke ọrun. 39 Awọn kan ninu awọn Farisi li awujọ si wi fun u pe, Olukọni ba awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ wi.

Luke 19
Zaccheus Converted
1 He entered Jericho and was passing through.2 And there was a man called by the name of Zaccheus; he was a chief tax collector and he was rich.3 Zaccheus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature.4 So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way.5 When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, "Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house."6 And he hurried and came down and received Him gladly.7 When they saw it, they all began to grumble, saying, "He has gone to be the guest of a man who is a sinner."8 Zaccheus stopped and said to the Lord, "Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will give back four times as much."9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham.10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
Parable of Money Usage
11 While they were listening to these things, Jesus went on to tell a parable, because He was near Jerusalem, and they supposed that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately.12 So He said, "A nobleman went to a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself, and then return.13 And he called ten of his slaves, and gave them ten tminas and said to them, 'Do business with this until I come back.'14 But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us.'15 When he returned, after receiving the kingdom, he ordered that these slaves, to whom he had given the money, be called to him so that he might know what business they had done.16 The first appeared, saying, 'Master, your mina has made ten minas more.'17 And he said to him, 'Well done, good slave, because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in authority over ten cities.'18 The second came, saying, 'Your mina, master, has made five minas.'19 And he said to him also, 'And you are to be over five cities.'20 Another came, saying, 'Master, here is your mina, which I kept put away in a handkerchief;21 for I was afraid of you, because you are an exacting man; you take up what you did not lay down and reap what you did not sow.'22 He *said to him, 'By your own words I will judge you, you worthless slave. Did you know that I am an exacting man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow?23 Then why did you not put my money in the bank, and having come, I would have collected it with interest?'24 Then he said to the bystanders, 'Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.'25 And they said to him, 'Master, he has ten minas already.'26 I tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.27 But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence."
Triumphal Entry
28 After He had said these things, He was going on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
29 When He approached Bethphage and Bethany, near the mount that is called Olivet, He sent two of the disciples,30 saying, "Go into the village ahead of you; there, as you enter, you will find a colt tied on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.31 If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' you shall say, 'The Lord has need of it.'"32 So those who were sent went away and found it just as He had told them.33 As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, "Why are you untying the colt?"34 They said, "The Lord has need of it."35 They brought it to Jesus, and they threw their coats on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36 As He was going, they were spreading their coats on the road.37 As soon as He was approaching, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen,38 shouting:
"BLESSED IS THE KING WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD;
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, "Teacher, rebuke Your disciples."40 But Jesus answered, "I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!"
41 When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it,42 saying, "If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.43 For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side,44 and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation."
Traders Driven from the Temple
45 Jesus entered the temple and began to drive out those who were selling,46 saying to them, "It is written, 'AND MY HOUSE SHALL BE A HOUSE OF PRAYER,' but you have made it a ROBBERS' DEN."
47 And He was teaching daily in the temple; but the chief priests and the scribes and the leading men among the people were trying to destroy Him,48 and they could not find anything that they might do, for all the people were hanging on to every word He said.
