1 И наближаваше праздникът на безквасните хлябове, който се казва Пасха.2 И първосвещениците и книжниците търсеха как да го убият; защото се бояха от народа.3 И влезе Сатана в Юда, който се казваше Искариот, който беше от числото на дванадесетте;4 и отиде и наговори се с първосвещениците и войводите как да им го предаде.5 И възрадваха се те, и нагласиха се да му дадат сребро.6 И даде обещание, и търсеше сгодно време да им го предаде без народа.7 Дойде же денът на безквасните в който трябваше да жертвуват пасхата.8 И проводи Петра и Иоана, и рече: Идете и пригответе ни да ядем пасхата.9 А те му рекоха: Де искаш да приготвим?10 А той им рече: Ето, щом влезете в града ще ви срещне человек който носи кърчаг с вода: идете след него в дома в който влезе,11 и речете на стопанина на къщата: Учителът казва на тебе: Де е гостинната стая в която наедно с учениците си ще ям пасхата?12 И той ще ви посочи горница голяма постлана: там пригответе.13 И като отидоха намериха както им рече: и приготвиха пасхата.14 И когато дойде часът, седна на трапезата, и дванадесетте апостоли с него.15 И рече им: С желание пожелах да ям тази пасха с вас преди страданието си;16 защото ви казвам че няма да ям вече от нея докле се не изпълни в царството Божие.17 И като взе чашата, благодари и рече: Вземете това и разделете го помежду си;18 защото ви казвам че няма да пия от плода на лозата докато не дойде царството Божие.19 И взе хляб, и като благодари преломи го, даде им, и рече: Това е тялото мое което се за вас дава: това правете за мое възпоминание.20 Така взе и чашата след вечерята, и рече: Тая чаша е новият завет с моята кръв която се за вас пролива.21 Но, ето, ръката на тогоз който ме предава с мене е на трапезата.22 И Син человечески отхожда според както е определено; но горко на тогоз человека чрез когото се предава!23 И те наченаха да разискват помежду си кой ли от тях ще е този който ще стори това.24 Стана още и препирня помежду им кого от тях ще имат за по-голям.25 А той им рече: Царете на народите господаруват над тях, и тези които ги владеят наричат се благодетели.26 А вие не така; но най-големият изпомежду ви да бъде както най-малкия, който началствува, както оногоз който слугува.27 Защото кой е по-голям, който седи на трапезата ли, или който слугува? не този ли който седи? Но аз помежду вас съм като един който слугува.28 А вие сте онези които устояхте с мене наедно в моите напасти.29 За това аз вам завещавам царство както Отец ми завеща на мене;30 за да ядете и да пиете на трапезата ми в царството мое, и да седнете на престоли да съдите дванадесетте племена Израилеви.31 И рече Господ: Симоне, Симоне, ето, Сатана ви изиска за да ви отсее като жито;32 но аз се молих за тебе да не оскудее твоята вяра; и ти когато се обърнеш утвърди братята си.33 И Петър му рече: Господи, готов съм с тебе наедно и в тъмница и на смърт да ида.34 А той му рече: Казвам ти, Петре: Петелът днес няма да попее преди да се отречеш ти триж че ме не познаваш.35 И рече им: Когато ви пратих без кесия, без тържик, и без обуща, останахте ли лишени от нещо? А те рекоха: От нищо.36 Тогаз им рече: Но сега който има кесия да я вземе със себе си, така и тържик, и който няма, нека продаде дрехата си и нека купи нож;37 защото ви казвам че още и това писаното трябва да се изпълни на мене: "И с беззаконните се счете," защото писаните за мене вземат край.38 И те рекоха: Господи, ето тука два ножа. А той им рече: Доволно са.39 И излезе та отиде по обичай на гората Елеонска; отидоха след него и учениците му.40 И като дойде на мястото, рече им: Молете се да не впаднете в изкушение.41 И той се отлъчи от тях колкото един хвърлей камик, и коленичи, и молеше се,42 и думаше: Отче, ако щеш, да ме заминеш с тази чаша; обаче не моята воля, но твоята да бъде.43 И яви му се ангел от небето та го укрепяваше.44 И понеже бе в тъга молеше се по-усърдно; и потта му стана както капки кръв които капеха на земята.45 И като стана от молбата, дойде при учениците си и намери ги заспали от скърб;46 и рече им: Защо спите? Станете та се молете, за да не впаднете в изкушение.47 И когато още говореше той, ето народ, и този който се наричаше Юда, един от дванадесетте, вървеше напред тях, и приближи при Исуса да го целуне.48 А Исус му рече: Юдо, с целуване ли предаваш Сина человеческаго?49 И тези които бяха с Исуса, като видяха това що имаше да стане, рекоха му: Господи, да ударим ли с ножа?50 И един от тях удари първосвещениковия раб и отряза му дясното ухо.51 А Исус отговори и рече: Оставете до тука; и допря се до ухото му и го изцели.52 И рече Исус на първосвещениците и на войводите на храма и на старейшините що бяха дошли върх него: Като на разбойник ли излязохте с ножове и сопи?53 Всеки ден бях с вас в храма, и не простряхте ръце на мене. Но това е вашият час и властта на тъмнината.54 И като го хванаха, заведоха го, и въведоха го в дома на първосвещеника. А Петър идеше след него от далеч.55 И наклали бяха огън насред двора та бяха наседали; и Петър седеше между тях.56 И вижда го една слугиня че седи до огъня, вгледа се в него, и рече: И този беше с него.57 А той се отрече от него и рече: Жено, не го зная.58 И след малко друг един го видя и рече: И ти си от тях. А Петър рече: человече, не съм.59 И като се мина до един час, друг някой потвърдяваше и казваше: Наистина и този беше с него; защото е Галилеянин.60 А Петър рече: человече, не зная що казваш; и тоз час още като говореше той, петелът попя.61 И обърна се Господ та погледна Петра; и смисли Петър речта Господня що му рече че: Преди да пее петелът ще се отречеш от мене триж.62 И излезе Петър вън и плака горко.63 И мъжете които държеха Исуса ругаеха му се и го биеха.64 И като го прикриваха, удряха го по лицето и го питаха и казваха: Проречи, кой е що те удари?65 И други много хули казваха върх него.66 И като съмна, събраха се старейшините народни, първосвещениците и книжниците, та го изведоха на събора си,67 и му рекоха: Кажи ни: Ти ли си Христос? И рече им: Ако ви кажа, няма да повярвате;68 а ако ви питам, не ще ми отговорите, нито ще ме пуснете.69 От нине Син человечески ще бъде седещ отдясно на силата Божия70 И всичките рекоха: Ти прочее Син Божий ли си? А той им рече: Вие казвате право че съм аз. Божия.71 А те рекоха: Що ни трябва още свидетелство? защото ние сами чухме от устата му.

Luke 22

Judas’ Decision to Betray Jesus

1 Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread,s which is called the Passover, was approaching.

2 Thet chief priests and the experts in the lawt were trying to find some wayt to executet Jesus,t for they were afraid of the people.s
3 Thent Satans entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve.t4 He went away and discussed with the chief priests and officers of the temple guardt how he mightt betray Jesus,t handing him over to them.t5 Theyt were delighteds and arranged to give him money.s

6 Sot Judast agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesust when no crowd was present.ts

The Passover

7 Then the day for the feastt of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.s8 Jesust sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passovers for us to eat.”t9 Theyt said to him, “Where do you want us to preparet it?”10 He said to them, “Listen,t when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of waters will meet you.s Follow him into the house that he enters,11 and tell the owner of the house,t ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’12 Then he will show you a large furnished room upstairs. Make preparations there.”

13 Sot they went and found thingst just as he had told them,s and they prepared the Passover.

The Lord’s Supper

14 Nowt when the hour came, Jesust took his place at the tablet and the apostles joinedt him.15 And he said to them, “I have earnestly desiredt to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.16 For I tell you, I will not eat it againt until it is fulfilleds in the kingdom of God.”s17 Thent he took a cup,s and after giving thanks he said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.18 For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruitt of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”s19 Thent he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my bodys which is given for you.s Do this in remembrance of me.”

20 And in the same way he tookt the cup after they had eaten,t saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenants in my blood.

A Final Discourse

21 “But look, the hand of the one who betrayss me is with me on the table.s22 For the Son of Man is to go just as it has been determined,s but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!”

23 Sot they began to question one another as to which of them it could possibly be who would do this.
24 A dispute also startedt among them over which of them was to be regarded as the greatest.t25 Sot Jesust said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’s26 Not so with you;t instead the one who is greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leadert like the one who serves.s

27 For who is greater, the one who is seated at the table,t or the one who serves? Is it nott the one who is seated at the table? But I am among you as ones who serves.
28 “You are the ones who have remainedt with me in my trials.29 Thust I grants to you a kingdom,t just as my Father granted to me,

30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sitt on thrones judgings the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 “Simon,s Simon, pay attention!t Satan has demanded to have you all,s to sift you like wheat,s32 but I have prayed for you, Simon,s that your faith may not fail.s Whent you have turned back,t strengthens your brothers.”33 But Petert said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”s

34 Jesus replied,t “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crows today until you have denieds three times that you know me.”
35 Thent Jesust said to them, “When I sent you out with no money bag,t or traveler’s bag,t or sandals, you didn’t lacks anything, did you?” They replied,t “Nothing.”36 He said to them, “But now, the one whot has a money bag must take it, and likewise a traveler’s bagt too. And the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one.37 For I tell you that this scripture must bes fulfilled in me, ‘And he was counted with the transgressors.’ts For what is written about me is being fulfilled.”t

38 Sot they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.”s Then he told them, “It is enough.”s

On the Mount of Olives

39 Thent Jesust went out and made his way,t as he customarily did, to the Mount of Olives,s and the disciples followed him.40 When he came to the place,s he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”s41 He went away from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed,42 “Father, if you are willing, taket this cups away from me. Yet not my will but yourss be done.”43 Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.44 And in his anguisht he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.]sss45 Whent he got up from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping, exhaustedt from grief.

46 Sot he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you will not fall into temptation!”s

Betrayal and Arrest

47 While he was still speaking, suddenly a crowd appeared,t and the man named Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He walked upt to Jesus to kiss him.s48 But Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”s49 Whent those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said, “Lord, shouldt we use our swords?”s50 Thent one of thems struck the high priest’s slave,t cutting off his right ear.51 But Jesus said,t “Enough of this!” And he touched the man’st ear and healeds him.52 Thent Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard,t and the elders who had come out to get him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs like you would against an outlaw?t

53 Day after day when I was with you in the temple courts,t you did not arrest me.t But this is your hour,t and that of the powert of darkness!”

Jesus’ Condemnation and Peter’s Denials

54 Thent they arrestedt Jesus,t led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house.s But Peter was following at a distance.55 When they had made a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.56 Then a slave girl,t seeing him as he sat in the firelight, stared at him and said, “This man was with him too!”57 But Petert denied it: “Woman,s I don’t knows him!”58 Thent a little later someone elses saw him and said, “You are one of them too.” But Peter said, “Man,t I am not!”59 And after about an hour still another insisted,t “Certainly this man was with him, because he too is a Galilean.”s60 But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” At that moment,t while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.t61 Thent the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord,t how he had said to him, “Before a rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.”

62 And he went outside and wept bitterly.s
63 Nowt the men who were holding Jesust under guard began to mock him and beat him.64 Theyt blindfolded him and asked him repeatedly,t “Prophesy! Who hit you?”ts

65 They also said many other things against him, revilingt him.
66 When day came, the council of the elders of the people gathered together, both the chief priests and the experts in the law.t Thent they led Jesust away to their councils67 and said, “Ift you are the Christ,ts tell us.” But he said to them, “Ift I tell you, you will nott believe,68 and ift I ask you, you will nott answer.69 But from now onsthe Son of Man will be seated at the right hands of the powers of God.”70 Sot they all said, “Are you the Son of God,s then?” He answeredt them, “You says that I am.”

71 Thent they said, “Why do we need further testimony? We have heard it ourselvess from his own lips!”t
