Lucas 22

Traición de Judas

1 Se acercaba la Fiesta de los Panes sin Levadura, llamada la Pascua.

2 Y los principales sacerdotes y los escribas buscaban cómo dar muerte a Jesús, pero temían al pueblo.
3 Entonces Satanás entró en Judas, llamado Iscariote, que pertenecía al número de los doce apóstoles .4 Y él fue y discutió con los principales sacerdotes y con los oficiales sobre cómo entregarles a Jesús.5 Ellos se alegraron y convinieron en darle dinero.

6 El aceptó, y buscaba una oportunidad para entregar a Jesús sin hacer un escándalo.

Preparación de la Pascua

7 Llegó el día de la Fiesta de los Panes sin Levadura en que debía sacrificarse el cordero de la Pascua.8 Entonces Jesús envió a Pedro y a Juan, diciéndoles: "Vayan y preparen la Pascua para nosotros, para que la comamos."

9 "¿Dónde deseas que la preparemos?" Le preguntaron.
10 Y El les respondió: "Miren, al entrar en la ciudad, les saldrá al encuentro un hombre que lleva un cántaro de agua; síganlo a la casa donde entre.11 Y dirán al dueño de la casa: 'El Maestro te dice: "¿Dónde está la habitación, en la cual pueda comer la Pascua con Mis discípulos?"'12 Entonces él les mostrará un gran aposento alto, dispuesto; prepáren la allí."

13 Ellos fueron y encontraron todo tal como El les había dicho; y prepararon la Pascua.

Institución de la Cena del Señor

14 Cuando llegó la hora, Jesús se sentó a la mesa, y con El los apóstoles,15 y les dijo: "Intensamente he deseado comer esta Pascua con ustedes antes de padecer;

16 porque les digo que nunca más volveré a comerla hasta que se cumpla en el reino de Dios."
17 Y tomando una copa, después de haber dado gracias, dijo: "Tomen esto y repártanlo entre ustedes;

18 porque les digo que de ahora en adelante no beberé del fruto de la vid, hasta que venga el reino de Dios."
19 Y tomando el pan, después de haber dado gracias, lo partió, y les dio, diciendo: "Esto es Mi cuerpo que por ustedes es dado; hagan esto en memoria de Mí."

20 De la misma manera tomó la copa después de haber cenado, diciendo: "Esta copa es el nuevo pacto en Mi sangre, que es derramada por ustedes.
21 Pero, vean, la mano del que Me entrega está junto a Mí en la mesa.22 Porque en verdad, el Hijo del Hombre va según se ha determinado; pero ¡ay de aquel hombre por quien El es entregado!"

23 Entonces ellos comenzaron a discutir entre sí quién de ellos sería el que iba a hacer esto.

Los Discípulos Discuten sobre Quién es el Mayor

24 Surgió también entre ellos una discusión, sobre cuál de ellos debía ser considerado como el mayor.
25 Y Jesús les dijo: "Los reyes de los Gentiles se enseñorean de ellos; y los que tienen autoridad sobre ellos son llamados bienhechores.26 Pero no es así con ustedes; antes, el mayor entre ustedes hágase como el menor, y el que dirige como el que sirve.

27 Porque, ¿cuál es mayor, el que se sienta a la mesa, o el que sirve? ¿No lo es el que se sienta a la mesa? Sin embargo, entre ustedes Yo soy como el que sirve.
28 "Ustedes son los que han permanecido junto a Mí en Mis pruebas;29 y así como Mi Padre Me ha otorgado un reino, Yo les otorgo

30 que coman y beban a Mi mesa en Mi reino; y se sentarán en tronos juzgando a las doce tribus de Israel.

Jesús Predice la Negación de Pedro

31 "Simón, Simón (Pedro), mira que Satanás los ha reclamado a ustedes para zarandearlos como a trigo;

32 pero Yo he rogado por ti para que tu fe no falle; y tú, una vez que hayas regresado, fortalece a tus hermanos."
33 Y Pedro Le dijo: "Señor, estoy dispuesto a ir adonde vayas, tanto a la cárcel como a la muerte."

34 Pero Jesús le dijo: "Te digo, Pedro, que el gallo no cantará hoy hasta que tú hayas negado tres veces que Me conoces."

Bolsa, Alforja y Espada

35 Y El les dijo a todos: "Cuando los envié sin bolsa, ni alforja, ni sandalias, ¿acaso les faltó algo?" " No, nada," contestaron ellos.36 Entonces les dijo: "Pero ahora, el que tenga una bolsa, que la lleve consigo, de la misma manera también una alforja, y el que no tenga espada, venda su manto y compre una.

37 Porque les digo que es necesario que en Mí se cumpla esto que está escrito: 'Y con los transgresores fue contado;' pues ciertamente, lo que se refiere a Mí, tiene su cumplimiento."

38 Y ellos dijeron: "Señor, aquí hay dos espadas." "Es suficiente," les respondió.

Jesús en Getsemaní

39 Saliendo Jesús, se encaminó, como de costumbre, hacia el Monte de los Olivos; y los discípulos también Lo siguieron.

40 Cuando llegó al lugar, les dijo: "Oren para que no entren en tentación."
41 Y se apartó de ellos como a un tiro de piedra, y poniéndose de rodillas, oraba,42 diciendo: "Padre, si es Tu voluntad, aparta de Mí esta copa; pero no se haga Mi voluntad, sino la Tuya."43 Entonces se apareció un ángel del cielo, que Lo fortalecía.

44 Y estando en agonía, oraba con mucho fervor; y Su sudor se volvió como gruesas gotas de sangre, que caían sobre la tierra.
45 Cuando se levantó de orar, fue a los discípulos y los halló dormidos a causa de la tristeza,

46 y les dijo: "¿Por qué duermen? Levántense y oren para que no entren en tentación."

Arresto de Jesús

47 Mientras todavía estaba El hablando, llegó una multitud, y el que se llamaba Judas, uno de los doce apóstoles, iba delante de ellos, y se acercó para besar a Jesús.48 Pero Jesús le dijo: "Judas, ¿con un beso entregas al Hijo del Hombre?"

49 Cuando los que rodeaban a Jesús vieron lo que iba a suceder, dijeron: "Señor, ¿heriremos a espada?"
50 Y uno de ellos hirió al siervo del sumo sacerdote y le cortó la oreja derecha.51 Pero Jesús dijo: "¡Deténganse! Basta de esto." Y tocando la oreja al siervo, lo sanó.52 Entonces Jesús dijo a los principales sacerdotes, a los oficiales del templo y a los ancianos que habían venido contra El: "¿Como contra un ladrón han salido con espadas y palos?

53 Cuando estaba con ustedes cada día en el templo, no Me echaron mano; pero esta hora y el poder de las tinieblas son de ustedes."

La Negación de Pedro

54 Después de arrestar a Jesús, se Lo llevaron y Lo condujeron a la casa del sumo sacerdote; y Pedro los seguía de lejos.55 Después que encendieron una hoguera en medio del patio, y de sentarse juntos, Pedro se sentó entre ellos.56 Una sirvienta, al verlo sentado junto a la lumbre, fijándose en él detenidamente, dijo: "También éste estaba con El."

57 Pero él lo negó, diciendo: "Mujer, yo no Lo conozco."
58 Un poco después, otro al verlo, dijo: "¡Tú también eres uno de ellos!" "¡Hombre, no es cierto!" le dijo Pedro.59 Pasada como una hora, otro insistía, diciendo: "Ciertamente éste también estaba con El, pues él también es Galileo."

60 Pero Pedro dijo: "Hombre, yo no sé de qué hablas." Al instante, estando él todavía hablando, cantó un gallo.
61 El Señor se volvió y miró a Pedro. Entonces Pedro recordó la palabra del Señor, de cómo le había dicho: "Antes que el gallo cante hoy, Me negarás tres veces."

62 Y saliendo fuera, lloró amargamente.

Jesús Escarnecido

63 Los hombres que tenían a Jesús bajo custodia, se burlaban de El y Lo golpeaban;64 Le vendaron los ojos, y Le preguntaban: "Adivina, ¿quién es el que Te ha golpeado?"

65 También decían muchas otras cosas contra El, blasfemando.

Jesús Ante el Concilio (Sanedrín)

66 Cuando se hizo de día, se reunió el Concilio (Sanedrín) de los ancianos del pueblo, tanto los principales sacerdotes como los escribas, y llevaron a Jesús ante su Concilio, diciendo:67 "Si Tú eres el Cristo (el Mesías), dínoslo." Pero El les dijo: "Si se lo digo, no creerán;68 y si les pregunto, no responderán.

69 Pero de ahora en adelante, el Hijo del Hombre estara sentado a la diestra del poder de Dios."
70 Dijeron todos: "Entonces, ¿Tú eres el Hijo de Dios?" "Ustedes dicen que Yo soy," les respondió Jesús.71 Y ellos dijeron: "¿Qué necesidad tenemos ya de testimonio? Pues nosotros mismos lo hemos oído de Su propia boca."

Luke 22

1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.2 And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death; for they feared the people.3 And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.4 And he went away, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him unto them.5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.6 And he consented, and sought opportunity to deliver him unto them in the absence of the multitude.7 And the day of unleavened bread came, on which the passover must be sacrificed.8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and make ready for us the passover, that we may eat.9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we make ready?10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house whereinto he goeth.11 And ye shall say unto the master of the house, The Teacher saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?12 And he will show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the apostles with him.15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:16 for I say unto you, I shall not eat it, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.17 And he received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:18 for I say unto you, I shall not drink from henceforth of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.20 And the cup in like manner after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, even that which is poured out for you.21 But behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.22 For the Son of man indeed goeth, as it hath been determined: but woe unto that man through whom he is betrayed!23 And they began to question among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.24 And there arose also a contention among them, which of them was accounted to be greatest.25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles have lordship over them; and they that have authority over them are called Benefactors.26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.27 For which is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am in the midst of you as he that serveth.28 But ye are they that have continued with me in my temptations;29 and I appoint unto you a kingdom, even as my Father appointed unto me,30 that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.31 Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:32 but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not; and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren.33 And he said unto him, Lord, with thee I am ready to go both to prison and to death.34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, until thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.35 And he said unto them, When I sent you forth without purse, and wallet, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing.36 And he said unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet; and he that hath none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.37 For I say unto you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in me, And he was reckoned with transgressors: for that which concerneth me hath fulfilment.38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.39 And he came out, and went, as his custom was, unto the mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed him.40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.41 And he was parted from them about a stone’s cast; and he kneeled down and prayed,42 saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.43 And there appeared unto him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground.45 And when he rose up from his prayer, he came unto the disciples, and found them sleeping for sorrow,46 and said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.47 While he yet spake, behold, a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them; and he drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?49 And when they that were about him saw what would follow, they said, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?50 And a certain one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his right ear.51 But Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye them thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.52 And Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and elders, that were come against him, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves?53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched not forth your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.54 And they seized him, and led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed afar off.55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and had sat down together, Peter sat in the midst of them.56 And a certain maid seeing him as he sat in the light of the fire, and looking stedfastly upon him, said, This man also was with him.57 But he denied, saying, Woman, I know him not.58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou also art one of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not.59 And after the space of about one hour another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this man also was with him; for he is a Galilaean.60 But Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how that he said unto him, Before the cock crow this day thou shalt deny me thrice.62 And he went out, and wept bitterly.63 And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and beat him.64 And they blindfolded him, and asked him, saying, Prophesy: who is he that struck thee?65 And many other things spake they against him, reviling him.66 And as soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people was gathered together, both chief priests and scribes; and they led him away into their council, saying,67 If thou art the Christ, tell us. But he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:68 and if I ask you, ye will not answer.69 But from henceforth shall the Son of man be seated at the right hand of the power of God.70 And they all said, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.71 And they said, What further need have we of witness? for we ourselves have heard from his own mouth.
