ルカによる福音書 5

五

1 　ある日、イエスがゲネサレ湖のほとりで教えを宣べ伝えておられるところへ、大ぜいの人が神のことばを聞こうと押しかけました。　2-3 ふと見ると、水ぎわの二そうの小舟で、漁師たちがせっせと網を洗っています。　イエスはそのうちの一そうに乗り込んで、持ち主のシモンに少しこぎ出してもらい、舟の中に座ったまま、群衆に教えられました。
4 　お話が終わると、シモンにおっしゃいました。　「さあ、もっと沖へこぎ出して、網をおろしてごらんなさい。　たくさん魚がとれますよ。」
5 　「でも先生。　おれたちは夜通し一生懸命働いたんですぜ。　なのに、雑魚一匹とれなかった。　だけど、まあ、せっかくそうおっしゃるんだから、もう一度やってみますがね......。」
6 　ところがどうでしょう。　今度は網が破れるほどたくさんの魚がとれたのです。　7 あまり多くて、手がつけられません。　大声で助けを求めました。　仲間の舟が来ましたが、二そうとも魚でいっぱいになり、今にも沈みそうです。
8 　シモン・ペテロは事の真相に気づくと、あわててイエスの前にひれ伏し、「ああ、先生。　どうぞ私みたいな者から離れてください。　私は罪深い人間で、とてもおそばへは寄れません」と叫びました。　9 あまりの大漁に、ペテロも仲間たちも恐ろしくなったからです。　10 仲間には、ゼベダイの息子のヤコブやヨハネもいました。　イエスはシモンに、「こわがらなくてもいいのです。　今からは人間をとる漁師になるのですから」と言われました。
11 　岸へ上がると、彼らは何もかも捨てて、イエスにお従いしました。
イエス、病気を治す
12 　イエスがある村におられた時のことです。　そこに、らい病に全身を冒された男がいました。　彼はイエスを見るや、その前にひれ伏し、額を地面にこすりつけて頼みました。
「お願いでございますっ！　どうぞ私の体を、体をもとどおりにしてください。　あなた様のお気持ちひとつで治るのですから。」
13 　イエスは手を伸ばして男にさわり、「治してあげましょう。　どれどれ、さあ、もう大丈夫ですよ」と言われました。　すると驚いたことに、らい病はたちまち消え去り、あとかたもなくなったのです。　14 「このことをだれにも話してはいけませんよ。　すぐに祭司のところへ行って、体を調べてもらい、モーセの法律どおりのささげ物をしなさい。　そうすれば、病気が治ったことが、みんなの前で証明されるのです。」こう言われたにもかかわらず、　15 イエスのうわさはあっという間に広まり、大ぜいの人が教えを聞こう、病気を治してもらおうと詰めかけました。　16 しかしイエスは、何度も荒野に身を避け、祈っておられました。
17 　ある日、イエスが教えておられると、パリサイ人（特におきてを守ることに熱心なユダヤ教の一派）と法律の専門家が数人そばに座っていました。　〔ガリラヤやユダヤのすべての村、またエルサレムから来た人たちです。〕イエスには、病気を治す神の力がありました。
18-19 その時、数人の人がやって来ました。　見ると、中風の男を、それも、ふとんごとかついでいます。　彼らは、何とか群衆をかき分けてイエスのところへ行こうとしましたが、とても近づけたものではありません。　しかたなく、屋根にのぼり、天井に穴をあけ、病人をふとんごと、人々の真ん中に立っておられるイエスの目の前につり降ろしました。
20 　イエスはこれほどまでの信仰を見て、病人に、「あなたの罪は赦されました」と宣言なさいました。
21 　「なんて罰あたりなことばだっ！　いったい何様だと思ってるのか。　冒涜だ！　明らかに神様を汚す言葉だ。　罪を赦すなんて、神様にしかできないことなのに......。」パリサイ人や法律の専門家たちは、心の中で強く反発しました。
22 　それを見抜いたイエスは、「なぜ、わたしのことばが神を汚すことになるのですか。　23-24 この人に、『あなたの罪は赦されました』と言うのと、『起きて歩きなさい』と言うのと、どちらがむずかしいですか。　わたしは病気を治す力も、罪を赦す権威も持っているのです。　それを証明してみせましょう」と言い、中風の男に、「さあ、起きなさい。　床をたたんで、家に帰りなさい」とお命じになりました。
25 　男はぱっとはね起き、並み居る人をしり目に、すぐに床を取り上げると、神を賛美しながら帰って行きました。　26 居合わせた人たちはたいへんです。　みな恐れに取りつかれ、「不思議だ。　まるで考えられないことだ」と幾度もくり返しては、神をほめたたえました。
27 　このあと、町を出ようとされた時、一人の取税人が税金取立所に座っているのが見えました。　その男の名はレビと言いました。　「さあ、ついて来て、わたしの弟子になりなさい。」　28 イエスの誘いに、レビは何もかも捨て、さっと立ち上がり、あとに従いました。
29 　まもなくレビは、家で、イエスのために盛大な歓迎会を催しました。　多くの取税人仲間をはじめ、大ぜいの人が招かれました。
パリサイ人たちの言いがかり
30 　ところが、パリサイ人や法律の専門家たちはこの光景を見て、弟子たちに激しい非難をあびせました。　「おまえさんたちは、どうして、こんなくずのような連中といっしょに食事をするんだい。」
31 　イエスは、お答えになりました。　「医者が必要なのは病人で、健康な人ではありません。　32 わたしは、自分を正しいと思う人を招くためではなく、罪人を招いて、罪を悔い改めさせるために来たのです。」
33 　彼らも負けてはいません。　今度は違った面から、詰め寄りました。　「バプテスマのヨハネの弟子たちは、いつも断食して祈っている。　パリサイ人の弟子たちも同様だ。　なのに、おまえさんのお弟子たちときたら、平気で飲み食いしている。　そのわけを聞かしてもらおうじゃないか。」
34 　イエスは言われました。　「しあわせな人が断食しますか。　結婚披露宴で、花婿の招待客がお腹をすかしたままでいることがあるでしょうか。　もちろん、ありえません。　35 しかし、花婿が彼らから引き離される日が来ます。　その時こそ、断食するのです。」
36 　続いて、もう一つのたとえ話をなさいました。　「古い着物に継ぎを当てるのに、新しい着物から布切れを切り取る人がいるでしょうか。　そんなことをしたら、新しい着物もだめになるし、古い着物も継ぎ目が破れて、結局どちらもだいなしです。　37 また、新しいぶどう酒を古い皮袋に入れる人がいるでしょうか。　そんなことをしたら、古い皮袋は新しいぶどう酒の圧力で張り裂け、ぶどう酒もこぼれてしまいます。　38 新しいぶどう酒は、新しい皮袋に入れるものです。　39 こうも言えます。　だれでも古いぶどう酒を飲んだあとで、新しいぶどう酒を口にしたいとは思わないでしょう。　『古い物はよい』と言われるとおりです。」安息日の主であるイエス

Luke 5

1 Now it came to pass, while the multitude pressed upon him and heard the word of God, that he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret;2 and he saw two boats standing by the lake: but the fishermen had gone out of them, and were washing their nets.3 And he entered into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the multitudes out of the boat.4 And when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.5 And Simon answered and said, Master, we toiled all night, and took nothing: but at thy word I will let down the nets.6 And when they had done this, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes; and their nets were breaking;7 and they beckoned unto their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.8 But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.9 For he was amazed, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken;10 and so were also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they left all, and followed him.12 And it came to pass, while he was in one of the cities, behold, a man full of leprosy: and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.13 And he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou made clean. And straightway the leprosy departed from him.14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go thy way, and show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.15 But so much the more went abroad the report concerning him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed of their infirmities.16 But he withdrew himself in the deserts, and prayed.17 And it came to pass on one of those days, that he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, who were come out of every village of Galilee and Judaea and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was with him to heal.18 And behold, men bring on a bed a man that was palsied: and they sought to bring him in, and to lay him before him.19 And not finding by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his couch into the midst before Jesus.20 And seeing their faith, he said, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this that speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?22 But Jesus perceiving their reasonings, answered and said unto them, Why reason ye in your hearts?23 Which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say, Arise and walk?24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (he said unto him that was palsied), I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go unto thy house.25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his house, glorifying God.26 And amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God; and they were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to-day.27 And after these things he went forth, and beheld a publican, named Levi, sitting at the place of toll, and said unto him, Follow me.28 And he forsook all, and rose up and followed him.29 And Levi made him a great feast in his house: and there was a great multitude of publicans and of others that were sitting at meat with them.30 And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with the publicans and sinners?31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are in health have no need of a physician; but they that are sick.32 I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.33 And they said unto him, The disciples of John fast often, and make supplications; likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink.34 And Jesus said unto them, Can ye make the sons of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?35 But the days will come; and when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, then will they fast in those days.36 And he spake also a parable unto them: No man rendeth a piece from a new garment and putteth it upon an old garment; else he will rend the new, and also the piece from the new will not agree with the old.37 And no man putteth new wine into old wine-skins; else the new wine will burst the skins, and itself will be spilled, and the skins will perish.38 But new wine must be put into fresh wine-skins.39 And no man having drunk old wine desireth new; for he saith, The old is good.
