Пётр и другие ученики следуют за Иисусом

1 Иисус остановился неподалёку от Геннисаретского озераt в Галилее. Народ теснился к Нему, чтобы услышать слово Божье.

2 И увидел Он две лодки у берега, рыбаки же вышли из них и полоскали свои сети.

3 Тогда Иисус вошёл в лодку, принадлежавшую Симону, и попросил его немного отплыть от берега. Он сел и стал проповедовать народу из лодки.

4 Когда же Он закончил проповедь, то сказал Симону: «Отведите лодку на более глубокое место. Если вы все вместе закинете там сети, то поймаете рыбу».

5 Симон ответил Ему: «Господин, мы всю ночь тяжко трудились и ничего не поймали, но раз Ты велишь, я заброшу сети».

6 Когда они сделали это, в сетях оказалось великое множество рыбы, и сети стали рваться под тяжестью улова.

7 Тогда они дали знак товарищам, находившимся в другой лодке, чтобы те пришли им на помощь. Те подошли и наполнили обе лодки до краёв, так что они стали тонуть.

8-9 Когда Симон Пётр увидел это, он упал к ногам Иисуса со словами: «Удались отсюда, Господи, потому что грешен я!» Великое удивление охватило его и всех его товарищей, видевших, какой им достался улов.

10 Такое же чувство охватило Иакова и Иоанна, сыновей Зеведея, которые были вместе с Симоном.
И сказал Иисус Симону: «Не бойся, отныне ты будешь ловцом душ человеческих, а не рыбы».

11 Когда они привели к берегу свои лодки, то оставили всё и последовали за Ним.

Исцеление прокажённого

12 Однажды Иисус был в одном городе, где жил очень больной человек, весь покрытый проказой. Увидев Иисуса, он склонился перед ним и стал умолять Его: «Господи, если Ты захочешь, то сможешь очистить меня».

13 Иисус протянул руку и дотронулся до прокажённого, сказав: «Хочу. Очистись!» И тот тотчас же исцелился от проказы.

14 И сказал ему Иисус: «Смотри, не говори никому об этом, а пойди покажись священникуt и принеси жертву за своё очищение, как повелел Моисей, в свидетельство людям, что ты исцелился».

15 Молва об Иисусе распространялась всё больше и больше, и множество народа приходило слушать Его и исцеляться от своих болезней.

16 Иисус же часто уходил в пустынные места и молился.

Иисус исцеляет калеку

17 Однажды, когда Иисус учил народ, там сидели фарисеи и законоучители, пришедшие изо всех городов Галилеи, Иудеи и Иерусалима. И сила Господняя была с Ним, чтобы исцелять народ.

18 Кто-то принёс на постели парализованного, и его пытались внести и положить перед Иисусом.

19 И не зная, как пронести больного через толпу, они поднялись на крышу и, проделав в потолке отверстие, опустили его вместе с постелью прямо посреди толпы перед Иисусом.

20 Увидев их веру, Иисус сказал: «Друг, прощаются тебе грехи твои!»

21 Тогда книжники и фарисеи стали думать: «Кто это наносит оскорбления Всевышнему? Кто, кроме Бога, может прощать грехи?»

22 Но Иисус знал об их мыслях и сказал им в ответ: «Почему вы так думаете в сердцах ваших?

23 Что легче сказать: „Прощаются тебе грехи твои” или: „Встань и иди”?

24 Но Я покажу вам, что Сын Человеческий имеет власть на земле прощать грехи». И тогда Иисус сказал парализованному: «Говорю тебе, встань, возьми свою постель и иди домой!»

25 И в ту же минуту тот встал перед ними, взял свою постель и пошёл домой, восхваляя Бога.

26 И изумление охватило всех, и они славили Бога и, преисполнившись благоговения, говорили: «Чудные дела видели мы сегодня».

Призвание Левия

27 После этого Иисус вышел и увидел сборщика налогов по имени Левий, сидевшего на своём обычном месте. И сказал Он ему: «Следуй за Мной!»

28 Оставив всё, Левий поднялся и пошёл за Ним.

29 Левий устроил для Иисуса угощение в своём доме, и большая толпа сборщиков налогов и других людей ели с ними.

30 Фарисеи и книжники жаловались, говоря ученикам Иисуса: «Почему вы едите и пьёте со сборщиками налогов и грешниками?»

31 В ответ им Иисус сказал: «Не здоровым нужен врач, а больным.

32 Я пришёл призвать к покаянию не праведных, а грешных».

Спор о времени поста

33 Они же сказали Иисусу: «Ученики Иоанна часто постятся и молятся, также и ученики фарисеев, а Твои ученики едят и пьют».

34 Но Он ответил им: «Разве можно заставить поститься друзей жениха на свадьбе, пока он ещё среди них?

35 Но придёт время, когда жениха уведут от них, и тогда они будут поститься».

36 И рассказал Он им притчу: «Никто не пришивает заплату к старой одежде, оторвав кусок ткани от новой; иначе и новую порвёт, и заплата от новой одежды не подойдёт к старой.

37 Никто не наливает молодого вина в старые меха, потому что молодое вино прорвёт их и не только само вытечет, но и меха испортит.

38 Молодое вино вливают в новые меха.

39 И никто, выпив старого вина, не захочет молодого, потому что скажет: „Старое лучше”».

Luke 5

The First Disciples

1 Now it happened that while the crowd was pressing around Him and listening to the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret;2 and He saw two boats lying at the edge of the lake; but the fishermen had gotten out of them and were washing their nets.3 And He got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little way from the land. And He sat down and began teaching the people from the boat.4 When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, "Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch."5 Simon answered and said, "Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets."6 When they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break;7 so they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink.8 But when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus' feet, saying, "Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinful man!"9 For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken;10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men."11 When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.

The Leper and the Paralytic

12 While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."13 And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately the leprosy left him.14 And He ordered him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."15 But the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.16 But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.

17 One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.18 And some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.19 But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.20 Seeing their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you."21 The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"22 But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?23 Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins have been forgiven you,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?24 But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,"-He said to the paralytic-"I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home."25 Immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.26 They were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."

Call of Levi (Matthew)

27 After that He went out and noticed a tax collector named Levi sitting in the tax booth, and He said to him, "Follow Me."28 And he left everything behind, and got up and began to follow Him.

29 And Levi gave a big reception for Him in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and other people who were reclining at the table with them.30 The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"31 And Jesus answered and said to them, "It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."

33 And they said to Him, "The disciples of John often fast and offer prayers, the disciples of the Pharisees also do the same, but Yours eat and drink."34 And Jesus said to them, "You cannot make the attendants of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?35 But the days will come; and when the bridegroom is taken away from them, then they will fast in those days."36 And He was also telling them a parable: "No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined.38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.39 And no one, after drinking old wine wishes for new; for he says, 'The old is good enough.'"
