4 เมื่อ_พระองค์_สอน_เสร็จ_แล้ว_ก็_พูด_กับ_ซีโมน_ว่า “ออก_ไป_ที่_น้ำ_ลึก_หน่อย จะ_ได้_หย่อน_อวน_ลง_จับ_ปลา”

5 แต่_ซีโมน_ตอบ_ว่า “อาจารย์_ครับ พวก_เรา_ตรากตรำ_ลาก_อวน_กัน_มา_ทั้ง_คืน_แล้ว ก็_ยัง_จับ_ไม่_ได้_อะไร_เลย แต่_ถ้า_อาจารย์_บอก_ให้_ทำ ผม_ก็_จะ_ลอง_ใหม่”

6 เมื่อ_พวก_เขา_ทำ_ตาม_ที่_พระ_เยซู_บอก ก็_จับ_ปลา_ได้_เยอะ_มาก_จน_อวน_เกือบ_ขาด

7 พวก_เขา_ก็_เลย_ต้อง_ส่ง_สัญญาณ เรียก_เพื่อน_ร่วม_งาน_ใน_เรือ_อีก_ลำ_หนึ่ง_ให้_มา_ช่วย ปรากฏ_ว่า_พวก_เขา_ได้_ปลา_มา_เต็ม_สอง_ลำ_เรือ_จน_เรือ_เกือบ_จะ_จม

8 เมื่อ_ซีโมน_เห็น_อย่าง_นั้น_จึง_ก้ม_ลง_กราบ_ที่_เข่า_ของ_พระ_เยซู_และ_พูด_ว่า “อาจารย์ ไป_ให้_ห่าง_จาก_ผม_เถิด เพราะ_ผม_มัน_คน_บาป”

9 ที่_พูด_อย่าง_นั้น_เพราะ_ตัว_เขา_และ_เพื่อนๆ_ รู้สึก_ตก_ตะลึง_ที่_จับ_ปลา_ได้_มาก_ขนาด_นั้น

10 ยากอบ_และ_ยอห์น ลูกชาย_ของ_เศเบดี_ที่_เป็น_เพื่อน_ร่วม_งาน_กับ_ซีโมน_เอง_ก็_ตก_ตะลึง_เหมือน_กัน แล้ว_พระ_เยซู_ก็_พูด_กับ_ซีโมน_ว่า “ไม่_ต้อง_กลัว ต่อ_ไป_นี้_คุณ_จะ_เป็น_ผู้_จับ_คน”

11 เมื่อ_พวก_เขา_ลาก_เรือ_มา_ถึง_ฝั่ง พวก_เขา_ก็_ละทิ้ง_ทุก_สิ่ง_ทุก_อย่าง_แล้ว_ติด_ตาม_พระ_เยซู_ไป

พระ_เยซู_รักษา_คน_โรค_ผิวหนัง_ร้ายแรง

12 เมื่อ_พระ_เยซู_อยู่_ใน_เมือง_หนึ่ง มี_ชาย_คน_หนึ่ง_ที่_เป็น_โรค_ผิวหนัง_ร้ายแรง_ทั่ว_ทั้ง_ตัว เมื่อ_เขา_เห็น_พระ_เยซู ก็_มา_ก้ม_กราบ_อ้อน_วอน_ว่า “นาย_ท่าน ถ้า_ท่าน_อยาก_ช่วย ท่าน_ก็_ทำ_ให้_ผม_หาย_ได้”

13 พระ_เยซู_จึง_ยื่น_มือ_ออก_ไป_แตะ_ตัว_เขา_แล้ว_พูด_ว่า “เรา_อยาก_ช่วย หาย_จาก_โรค_เถิด” เขา_ก็_หาย_จาก_โรค_ผิวหนัง_ร้ายแรง_ทัน_ที

14 แล้ว_พระ_เยซู_สั่ง_ว่า “อย่า_ไป_เล่า_ให้_ใคร_ฟัง แต่_ไป_ให้_นักบวช_ตรวจ_ดู และ_ถวาย_เครื่อง_บูชา_ตาม_ที่_โมเสส_สั่ง_ไว้_ให้_คน_ที่_หาย_จาก_โรค_ผิวหนัง_ร้ายแรง_ต้อง_ทำ เพื่อ_คน_อื่น_จะ_ได้_รู้_ว่า_คุณ_หาย_แล้ว”

17 อยู่_มา_วัน_หนึ่ง ใน_ขณะ_ที่_พระ_เยซู_กำลัง_สอน_อยู่ มี_พวก_ฟาริสี และ_พวก_ครู_สอน_กฎ_ปฏิบัติ_ที่_เดิน_ทาง_มา_จาก_ทุก_หมู่บ้าน_ใน_แคว้น_กาลิลี แคว้น_ยูเดีย และ_เมือง_เยรูซาเล็ม_นั่ง_อยู่_ที่_นั่น_ด้วย และ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ให้_ฤทธิ์_อำนาจ_กับ_พระ_เยซู_เพื่อ_จะ_รักษา_โรค_ได้

21 พวก_ครู_สอน_กฎ_ปฏิบัติ_และ_พวก_ฟาริสี_ก็_คิด_ใน_ใจ_ว่า “คน_นี้_เป็น_ใคร_กัน บังอาจ_พูดจา_ดู_หมิ่น_พระเจ้า มี_แต่_พระเจ้า_เท่า_นั้น_ที่_ให้_อภัย_บาป_ได้”

25 ชาย_คน_นั้น_ก็_ลุก_ขึ้น_ทัน_ที_ต่อหน้า_คน_ทั้ง_หมด เขา_ยก_เปล_ที่_เขา_เคย_นอน_กลับ_ไป_บ้าน_และ_สรรเสริญ_พระเจ้า

26 คน_ทั้งหลาย_ต่าง_ประหลาดใจ_และ_พา_กัน_สรรเสริญ_พระเจ้า พวก_เขา_รู้สึก_เกรง_กลัว_และ_พา_กัน_พูด_ว่า “วันนี้_พวก_เรา_ได้_เห็น_สิ่ง_มหัศจรรย์_จริงๆ”

28 เลวี_จึง_ทิ้ง_ทุก_สิ่ง_ทุก_อย่าง และ_ตาม_พระองค์_ไป

29 แล้ว_เลวี_ก็_จัด_งาน_เลี้ยง_ใหญ่_ให้_กับ_พระ_เยซู_ที่_บ้าน_ของ_เขา มี_พวก_คน_เก็บ_ภาษี_เป็น_จำนวน_มาก และ_คน_อื่นๆ_มา_ร่วม_งาน_ด้วย

30 พวก_ฟาริสี และ_พวก_ครู_สอน_กฎ_ปฏิบัติ บ่น_กับ_ลูกศิษย์_ของ_พระองค์_ว่า “ทำ_ไม_พวก_คุณ_ถึง_กิน_และ_ดื่ม_กับ_พวก_คน_เก็บ_ภาษี และ_พวก_คน_บาป_แบบ_นี้”

31 พระ_เยซู_ก็_ตอบ_กลับ_ไป_ว่า “คน_ที่_สบาย_ดี_ไม่_ต้อง_การ_หมอ แต่_คน_เจ็บ_ป่วย_ต้อง_การ_หมอ

32 เรา_ไม่_ได้_มา_เพื่อ_เรียก_คน_ดี แต่_มา_เพื่อ_เรียก_คน_บาป_ให้_กลับ_ตัว_กลับ_ใจ”

34 พระ_เยซู_พูด_กับ_เขา_เหล่า_นั้น_ว่า “เพื่อน_เจ้า_บ่าว_จะ_อด_อาหาร_ตอน_ที่_เลี้ยง_ฉลอง_อยู่_กับ_เจ้า_บ่าว_ได้_หรือ

35 แต่_เมื่อ_ถึง_วัน_นั้น_ที่_เจ้า_บ่าว_ถูก_พราก_ไป_จาก_พวก_เขา ใน_วันนั้น_แหละ_พวก_เขา_จะ_อด_อาหาร”

36 พระองค์_เล่า_เรื่อง_เปรียบ_เทียบ_นี้_ให้_ฟัง “คง_ไม่_มี_ใคร_ฉีก_ผ้า_จาก_เสื้อ_ใหม่_ไป_ปะ_รู_เสื้อ_เก่า_หรอก เพราะ_ถ้า_ทำ_อย่าง_นั้น เสื้อ_ใหม่_ก็_จะ_ฉีก_ขาด_และ_ชิ้น_ผ้า_ใหม่_ก็_ไม่_เข้า_กับ_เสื้อ_เก่า

37 แล้ว_คง_ไม่_มี_ใคร_เอา_เหล้า_องุ่น_ใหม่_ไป_ใส่_ไว้_ใน_ถุง_หนัง_เก่า_หรอก ถ้า_ทำ_อย่าง_นั้น_เหล้า_องุ่น_ใหม่_จะ_ทำ_ให้_ถุง_หนัง_นั้น_แตก เหล้า_ก็_จะ_ไหล_ออก_มา_หมด และ_ถุง_หนัง_ก็_จะ_พัง_ไป_ด้วย

39 ไม่_มี_ใคร_ที่_ดื่ม_เหล้า_องุ่น_เก่า_แล้ว_ยัง_อยาก_ดื่ม_เหล้า_องุ่น_ใหม่_อีก เพราะ_เขา_จะ_บอก_ว่า ‘เหล้า_องุ่น_เก่า_ดี_กว่า’”

Luke 5

The First Disciples

1 Now it happened that while the crowd was pressing around Him and listening to the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret;2 and He saw two boats lying at the edge of the lake; but the fishermen had gotten out of them and were washing their nets.3 And He got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little way from the land. And He sat down and began teaching the people from the boat.4 When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, "Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch."5 Simon answered and said, "Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets."6 When they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break;7 so they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink.8 But when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus' feet, saying, "Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinful man!"9 For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken;10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men."11 When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.

The Leper and the Paralytic

12 While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."13 And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately the leprosy left him.14 And He ordered him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."15 But the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.16 But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.

17 One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.18 And some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.19 But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.20 Seeing their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you."21 The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"22 But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?23 Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins have been forgiven you,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?24 But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,"-He said to the paralytic-"I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home."25 Immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.26 They were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."

Call of Levi (Matthew)

27 After that He went out and noticed a tax collector named Levi sitting in the tax booth, and He said to him, "Follow Me."28 And he left everything behind, and got up and began to follow Him.

29 And Levi gave a big reception for Him in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and other people who were reclining at the table with them.30 The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"31 And Jesus answered and said to them, "It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."

33 And they said to Him, "The disciples of John often fast and offer prayers, the disciples of the Pharisees also do the same, but Yours eat and drink."34 And Jesus said to them, "You cannot make the attendants of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?35 But the days will come; and when the bridegroom is taken away from them, then they will fast in those days."36 And He was also telling them a parable: "No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined.38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.39 And no one, after drinking old wine wishes for new; for he says, 'The old is good enough.'"
