Jesu Pe Àwọn Ọmọ-Ẹ̀yìn Rẹ̀ Àkọ́kọ́
(Mat 4:18-22; Mak 1:16-20)
1 O si ṣe, nigbati ijọ enia ṣù mọ́ ọ lati gbọ́ ọ̀rọ Ọlọrun, ti o si duro leti adagun Genesareti, 2 O ri ọkọ̀ meji ti nwọn gún leti adagun: ṣugbọn awọn apẹja sọkalẹ kuro ninu wọn, nwọn nfọ̀ àwọn wọn. 3 O si wọ̀ ọkan ninu awọn ọkọ̀ na, ti iṣe ti Simoni, o si bẹ̀ ẹ ki o tẹ̀ si ẹhin diẹ kuro ni ilẹ. O si joko, o si nkọ́ ijọ enia lati inu ọkọ̀ na. 4 Bi o si ti dakẹ ọ̀rọ isọ, o wi fun Simoni pe, Tì si ibu, ki o si jù àwọn nyin si isalẹ fun akopọ̀. 5 Simoni si dahùn o si wi fun u pe, Olukọni, gbogbo oru aná li awa fi ṣìṣẹ, awa kò si mú nkan: ṣugbọn nitori ọrọ rẹ emi ó jù àwọn na si isalẹ. 6 Nigbati nwọn si ti ṣe eyi, nwọn kó ọpọlọpọ ẹja: àwọn wọn si ya. 7 Nwọn si ṣapẹrẹ si ẹgbẹ wọn, ti o wà li ọkọ̀ keji, ki nwọn ki o wá ràn wọn lọwọ. Nwọn si wá, nwọn si kún ọkọ̀ mejeji, bẹ̃ni nwọn bẹ̀rẹ si irì. 8 Nigbati Simoni Peteru si ri i, o wolẹ lẹba ẽkun Jesu, o wipe, Lọ kuro lọdọ mi; nitori ẹlẹṣẹ ni mi, Oluwa. 9 Hà si ṣe e, ati gbogbo awọn ti mbẹ pẹlu rẹ̀, fun akopọ̀ ẹja ti nwọn kó: 10 Bẹ̃ ni Jakọbu ati Johanu awọn ọmọ Sebede, ti nṣe olupẹja pọ pẹlu Simoni. 12 O si ṣe, nigbati o wọ̀ ilu kan, kiyesi i, ọkunrin kan ti ẹ̀tẹ bò: nigbati o ri Jesu, o wolẹ, o si mbẹ̀ ẹ, wipe, Oluwa, bi iwọ ba fẹ, iwọ le sọ mi di mimọ́. 13 O si nà ọwọ́ rẹ̀, o fi kàn a, o ni, Mo fẹ: iwọ di mimọ́. Lọgan ẹ̀tẹ si fi i silẹ lọ. 14 O si kílọ fun u pe, ki o máṣe sọ fun ẹnikan: ṣugbọn ki o lọ, ki o si fi ara rẹ hàn fun alufa, ki o si ta ọrẹ fun iwẹnumọ́ rẹ, gẹgẹ bi Mose ti paṣẹ fun ẹrí si wọn. 15 Ṣugbọn si iwaju li okikí rẹ̀ nkàn kalẹ: ọ̀pọ ijọ enia si jumọ pade lati gbọ́ ọ̀rọ rẹ̀, ati lati gbà dida ara lọdọ rẹ̀ kuro lọwọ ailera wọn.

17 O si ṣe ni ijọ kan, bi o si ti nkọ́ni, awọn Farisi ati awọn amofin joko ni ìha ibẹ̀, awọn ti o ti ilu Galili gbogbo, ati Judea, ati Jerusalemu wá: agbara Oluwa si mbẹ lati mu wọn larada. 18 Sá si kiyesi i, awọn ọkunrin gbé ọkunrin kan ti o lẹ̀gba wá lori akete: nwọn nwá ọ̀na ati gbé e wọle, ati lati tẹ́ ẹ siwaju rẹ̀. 19 Nigbati nwọn kò si ri ọ̀na ti nwọn iba fi gbé e wọle nitori ijọ enia, nwọn gùn oke àja ile lọ, nwọn sọ̀ ọ kalẹ li alafo àja ti on ti akete rẹ̀ larin niwaju Jesu. 20 Nigbati o si ri igbagbọ́ wọn, o wi fun u pe, Ọkunrin yi, a dari ẹ̀ṣẹ rẹ jì ọ. 21 Awọn akọwe ati awọn Farisi bẹ̀rẹ si igberò, wipe, Tali eleyi ti nsọ ọrọ-odi? Tali o le dari ẹ̀ṣẹ jìni bikoṣe Ọlọrun nikanṣoṣo? 22 Ṣugbọn nigbati Jesu mọ̀ ìro inu wọn, o dahùn o si wi fun wọn pe, Kili ẹnyin nrò ninu ọkàn nyin? 23 Ewo li o ya jù, lati wipe, A dari ẹ̀ṣẹ rẹ jì ọ; tabi lati wipe, Dide ki iwọ ki o si mã rìn? 24 Ṣugbọn ki ẹnyin ki o le mọ̀ pe, Ọmọ-enia li agbara li aiye lati dari ẹ̀ṣẹ jìni, (o wi fun ẹlẹgba na pe,) Mo wi fun ọ, Dide, si gbé akete rẹ, ki o si lọ si ile rẹ. 25 O si dide lọgan niwaju wọn, o gbé ohun ti o dubulẹ le, o si lọ si ile rẹ̀, o nyìn Ọlọrun logo.
26 Ẹnu si yà gbogbo wọn, nwọn si nyìn Ọlọrun logo, ẹ̀ru si bà wọn, nwọn nwipe, Awa ri ohun abàmi loni.Jesu Pe Lefi

27 Lẹhin nkan wọnyi o jade lọ, o si ri agbowode kan ti a npè ni Lefi, o joko ni bode: o si wi fun u pe, Mã tọ̀ mi lẹhin. 28 O si fi gbogbo nkan silẹ, o dide, o si ntọ̀ ọ lẹhin. 29 Lefi si se àse nla fun u ni ile rẹ̀: ọ̀pọ ijọ awọn agbowode, ati awọn ẹlomiran mbẹ nibẹ̀ ti nwọn ba wọn joko. 30 Ṣugbọn awọn akọwe, ati awọn Farisi nkùn si awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀, wipe, Ẽṣe ti ẹnyin fi mbá awọn agbowode ati awọn ẹlẹṣẹ jẹ, ti ẹ mba wọn mu. 31 Jesu dahùn o si wi fun wọn pe, Awọn ti ara wọn dá kò wá oniṣegun, bikoṣe awọn ti ara wọn kò da.

33 Nwọn si bi i pe, Ẽṣe ti awọn ọmọ-ẹhin Johanu fi ngbàwẹ nigbakugba, ti nwọn a si ma gbadura, gẹgẹ bẹ̃ si ni awọn ọmọ-ẹhin awọn Farisi; ṣugbọn awọn tirẹ njẹ, nwọn nmu? 34 O si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹnyin le mu ki awọn ọmọ ile iyawo gbàwẹ, nigbati ọkọ iyawo mbẹ lọdọ wọn? 35 Ṣugbọn ọjọ mbọ̀ nigbati a o gbà ọkọ iyawo lọwọ wọn, nigbana ni nwọn o si gbàwẹ ni ijọ wọnni. 36 O si pa owe kan fun wọn pẹlu pe, Kò si ẹniti ifi idãsa aṣọ titun lẹ ogbologbo ẹ̀wu; bikoṣepe titun fà a ya, ati pẹlu idãsà titun kò si ba ogbologbo aṣọ rẹ. 37 Kò si si ẹniti ifi ọti-waini titun sinu ogbologbo ìgo; bikoṣepe ọti-waini titun bẹ́ ìgo na, a si danù, ìgo a si bajẹ. 38 Ṣugbọn ọti-waini titun li a ifi sinu igo titun; awọn mejeji a si ṣe dede. 39 Kò si si ẹniti imu ìsà ọti-waini tan, ti o si fẹ titun lojukanna: nitoriti o ni, ìsà san jù.
Luke 5
The First Disciples
1 Now it happened that while the crowd was pressing around Him and listening to the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret;2 and He saw two boats lying at the edge of the lake; but the fishermen had gotten out of them and were washing their nets.3 And He got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little way from the land. And He sat down and began teaching the people from the boat.4 When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, "Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch."5 Simon answered and said, "Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets."6 When they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break;7 so they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink.8 But when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus' feet, saying, "Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinful man!"9 For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken;10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men."11 When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.
The Leper and the Paralytic
12 While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."13 And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately the leprosy left him.14 And He ordered him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."15 But the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.16 But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.
17 One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.18 And some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.19 But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.20 Seeing their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you."21 The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"22 But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?23 Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins have been forgiven you,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?24 But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,"-He said to the paralytic-"I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home."25 Immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.26 They were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."
Call of Levi (Matthew)
27 After that He went out and noticed a tax collector named Levi sitting in the tax booth, and He said to him, "Follow Me."28 And he left everything behind, and got up and began to follow Him.
29 And Levi gave a big reception for Him in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and other people who were reclining at the table with them.30 The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"31 And Jesus answered and said to them, "It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."
33 And they said to Him, "The disciples of John often fast and offer prayers, the disciples of the Pharisees also do the same, but Yours eat and drink."34 And Jesus said to them, "You cannot make the attendants of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?35 But the days will come; and when the bridegroom is taken away from them, then they will fast in those days."36 And He was also telling them a parable: "No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined.38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.39 And no one, after drinking old wine wishes for new; for he says, 'The old is good enough.'"
