LUCAS 6

Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Adlaw nga Inugpahuway

(Mat. 12:1-8; Mar. 2:23-28)

1 Sang isa ka Adlaw nga Inugpahuway, samtang nagaagi sila ni Jesus sa kaumahan sang trigo, nagpangutol ang iya mga sumulunod sang mga uhay sang trigo, kag ginpiripis nila ini kag ginkaon.2 Pero may mga Pariseo nga nagsiling kay Jesus,3 Ginsabat sila ni Jesus,4  Nagsulod siya sa balay sang Dios kag nagkuha sang tinapay nga ginhalad sa Dios kag ginkaon niya. Ginpakaon man niya ang iya mga kaupod, bisan pa nga ginadilian sang Kasuguan ang magkaon sadto luwas lang sa mga pari."

5 Nagsiling pa gid si Jesus sa ila,

Ang Tawo nga Pingkaw ang Kamot

(Mat. 12:9-14; Mar. 3:1-6)

6  Sang isa naman ka Adlaw nga Inugpahuway, nagsulod si Jesus sa simbahan sang mga Judio sa pagpanudlo. May tawo didto nga pingkaw + 6 pingkaw: ukon, paralisado. ang tuo niya nga kamot.7 Tungod nga ang mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan kag ang mga Pariseo nagapangita gid sang kabangdanan nga maakusar nila si Jesus, ginabantayan nila kon bala ayuhon niya ang ato nga tawo sa Adlaw nga Inugpahuway.8 Pero nahibaluan ni Jesus kon ano ang ara sa ila hunahuna. Gani nagsiling siya sa tawo nga pingkaw, Kag nagtindog siya kag nagkadto kay Jesus.9 Dayon siling ni Jesus sa mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan kag sa mga Pariseo,10  Nagtulok si Jesus sa ila tanan pero wala gid sing may nagsabat . Dayon naghambal siya sa tawo nga pingkaw, Gin-untay niya, kag nag-ayo ini.

11 Pero naakig gid ang mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan kag ang mga Pariseo, gani nagsugilanon sila kon ano ang himuon nila kay Jesus.

Ginpili ni Jesus ang Dose ka Apostoles

(Mat. 10:1-4; Mar. 3:13-19)

12 Sang sadto nga panahon, nagtaklad si Jesus sa bukid agod magpangamuyo. Kag nagpangamuyo siya didto sa sulod sang isa gid ka gab-i.13 Pagkaaga gintawag niya ang iya mga sumulunod, kag nagpili siya sa ila sang dose, kag gintawag niya sila nga mga apostoles.14 Ang ila mga ngalan amo si Simon (nga gin-ngalanan ni Jesus nga Pedro), si Andres nga iya utod, si Santiago, si Juan, si Felipe, si Bartolome,15 si Mateo, si Tomas, si Santiago nga anak ni Alfeus, si Simon (nga sang una rebelde sa gobyerno sang Roma),

16  si Judas nga anak sang isa pa ka Santiago, kag si Judas Iscariote + 16 Judas Iscariote: Indi apelyido ni Judas ang Siguro ang buot silingon, Judas nga taga-Keriot. nga amo ang nagtraidor kay Jesus.

Nagpanudlo si Jesus kag Nagpang-ayo

(Mat. 4:23-25)

17  it Pagkatapos sadto, nagdulhog sila sa patag. Nagtilipon didto ang iya mga sumulunod kag ang madamo nga mga tawo nga halin sa mga banwa sang Judea kag sa siyudad sang Jerusalem. May mga tawo man didto nga halin pa sa mga siyudad sang Tyre kag Sidon nga malapit sa dagat.18 Nagkadto sila didto agod magpamati sa mga ginatudlo ni Jesus kag magpabulong sang ila mga masakit. Ang mga tawo nga ginapaantos sang malaot nga mga espiritu gin-ayo man niya.

19 Kag ang tanan nga tawo didto nagatinguha gid nga makatandog sa iya, kay may gahom nga nagaguwa sa iya nga nagaayo sa ila tanan.

Ang Bulahan kag ang Kaluluoy

(Mat. 5:1-12)

20 Dayon nagtulok si Jesus sa iya mga sumulunod kag nagsiling,21 Bulahan kamo nga ginagutom,22  Bulahan kamo kon tungod sa inyo pagsunod sa akon nga Anak sang Tawo maakig ang mga tawo sa inyo, sikwayon kamo, yagutaon, kag pakalainon ang inyo ngalan.23 Amo man ini ang ginhimo sang ila mga katigulangan sa mga propeta sang una. Gani kon himuon nila ini sa inyo, magkalipay gid kamo tungod nga mabaton ninyo ang dako nga balos sa langit.24 Pero kaluluoy kamo nga mga manggaranon,25 Kaluluoy kamo nga mga busog subong,

26 Kaluluoy man kamo kon ginadayaw kamo sang tanan, kay amo man ini ang ginhimo sang ila mga katigulangan sa mga indi matuod nga mga propeta."

Higugmaa Ninyo ang Inyo mga Kaaway

(Mat. 5:38-48; 7:12a)

28 Pakamaayuha ang mga nagapakamalaot sa inyo, kag pangamuyui ang mga nagapasipala sa inyo.29 Kon tampaon ka sa isa ka guya, itaya mo pa gid ang pihak mo nga guya. Kon may magkuha sang imo bayo, ihatag. Kag kon pati ang imo kamisita ginakuha pa gid, ihatag man.30 Hatagi ang bisan sin-o nga nagapangayo sa imo; kag kon may magkuha sang imo pagkabutang indi na pagbawia.

31 Himua ninyo sa inyo isigkatawo ang bisan ano nga gusto ninyo nga himuon man nila sa inyo.
33  Kag kon nagahimo kamo sing maayo sa mga tawo lang nga maayo sa inyo, makabaton bala kamo sing balos halin sa Dios ? Bisan ang mga makasasala nagahimo man sina.34  Kon nagapahulam kamo sa mga tawo nga nahibaluan ninyo nga makabayad, makabaton bala kamo sang balos halin sa Dios ? Bisan ang mga makasasala nagapahulam man sa ila kapareho nga mga makasasala basta nahibaluan nila nga makabayad sila.35 Amo ini ang inyo himuon: Higugmaa ninyo ang inyo mga kaaway kag himua ang maayo sa ila. Kon magpahulam kamo, pahulamon ninyo nga wala nagapaabot nga bayaran kamo. Kon amo ini ang inyo ginahimo, mabaton ninyo ang dako nga balos kag takos kamo nga tawgon nga mga anak sang Labing Mataas nga Dios. Kay siya maayo gid bisan pa sa mga tawo nga malaot kag wala sing kabalaslan.

36 Magmaluluy-on kamo pareho sang inyo Amay."

Indi Ninyo Paghukman ang Iban

(Mat. 7:1-5)

38  Maghatag kamo agod pagahatagan man kamo sang Dios . Kon maghatag ang Dios sa inyo, ginasukob gid niya sing maayo, ginauyog, ginadasok, kag nagaawas pa antes ibubo sa inyo suludlan. Kay kon paano ang inyo paghatag sa iban amo man ina ang paghatag sang Dios sa inyo."
39 Pagkatapos sadto ginsugiran sila ni Jesus sini nga paanggid,

40 Wala sing estudyante nga labaw pa sa iya maestro, pero kon natudluan gid siya sing maayo kag nakatapos sang iya pagtuon, magapareho man siya sa iya maestro.

42 Paano ka makasiling sa iya, kon indi mo gani makita ang imo puling nga daw troso kadako? Hipokrito! Kuhaa anay ang puling nga daw troso kadako sa imo mata, agod masanag ang imo pagkuha sang gamay nga puling sa mata sang imo isigkatawo."

Makilala ang Tawo sa Iya Binuhatan

(Mat. 7:16-20; 12:33-35)

44  Ang tagsa ka kahoy makilala mo sa iya bunga. Ang tunukon nga kahoy-kahoy wala nagapamunga sang higos + 44 higos: ang bunga sang kahoy nga higera (ukon ). f ukon ubas.

45  it Ang tawo pareho sina . Ang maayo nga tawo nagahambal sang maayo kay maayo ang iya tagipusuon. Pero ang malain nga tawo nagahambal sang malain kay malain ang iya tagipusuon. Kon ano ang sa tagipusuon sang tawo amo man ang nagaguwa sa iya baba."

Ang Matuod nga Sumulunod

(Mat. 7:24-27)

47 Ipakita ko sa inyo ang halimbawa sang tawo nga nagapalapit sa akon, kag nagapamati kag nagatuman sang akon mga ginatudlo.48 Pareho siya sang isa ka tawo nga nagkutkot sing madalom kag nagpatindog sang balay sa pundasyon nga bato. Sang nag-awas ang suba kag nagbaha, gin-agyan sang tubig ang balay, pero wala gid ini maano tungod kay mapag-on ang iya pundasyon.49 Pero ang tawo nga nakabati sang akon mga ginatudlo pero wala nagatuman, pareho siya sa isa ka tawo nga nagpatindog sang balay nga wala sing mapag-on nga pundasyon. Pag-awas sang suba, gin-agyan sang tubig ang balay. Natumba dayon ini kag nawasak."

Luke 6

In Charge of the Sabbath

1-2 On a certain Sabbath Jesus was walking through a field of ripe grain. His disciples were pulling off heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands to get rid of the chaff, and eating them. Some Pharisees said, "Why are you doing that, breaking a Sabbath rule?"

3-4 But Jesus stood up for them. "Have you never read what David and those with him did when they were hungry? How he entered the sanctuary and ate fresh bread off the altar, bread that no one but priests were allowed to eat? He also handed it out to his companions."

5 Then he said, "The Son of Man is no slave to the Sabbath; he's in charge."

6-8 On another Sabbath he went to the meeting place and taught. There was a man there with a crippled right hand. The religion scholars and Pharisees had their eye on Jesus to see if he would heal the man, hoping to catch him in a Sabbath infraction. He knew what they were up to and spoke to the man with the crippled hand: "Get up and stand here before us." He did.

9 Then Jesus addressed them, "Let me ask you something: What kind of action suits the Sabbath best? Doing good or doing evil? Helping people or leaving them helpless?"

10-11 He looked around, looked each one in the eye. He said to the man, "Hold out your hand." He held it out—it was as good as new! They were beside themselves with anger, and started plotting how they might get even with him.

The Twelve Apostles

12-16 At about that same time he climbed a mountain to pray. He was there all night in prayer before God. The next day he summoned his disciples; from them he selected twelve he designated as apostles:
Simon, whom he named Peter, Andrew, his brother, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, son of Alphaeus, Simon, called the Zealot, Judas, son of James, Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

You're Blessed

17-21 Coming down off the mountain with them, he stood on a plain surrounded by disciples, and was soon joined by a huge congregation from all over Judea and Jerusalem, even from the seaside towns of Tyre and Sidon. They had come both to hear him and to be cured of their ailments. Those disturbed by evil spirits were healed. Everyone was trying to touch him—so much energy surging from him, so many people healed! Then he spoke:
You're blessed when you've lost it all. God's kingdom is there for the finding. You're blessed when you're ravenously hungry. Then you're ready for the Messianic meal.
You're blessed when the tears flow freely. Joy comes with the morning.

22-23 "Count yourself blessed every time someone cuts you down or throws you out, every time someone smears or blackens your name to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and that that person is uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—skip like a lamb, if you like!—for even though they don't like it, I do . . . and all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company; my preachers and witnesses have always been treated like this.

Give Away Your Life

24 But it's trouble ahead if you think you have it made. What you have is all you'll ever get.

25 And it's trouble ahead if you're satisfied with yourself. Your self will not satisfy you for long.
And it's trouble ahead if you think life's all fun and games. There's suffering to be met, and you're going to meet it.

26 "There's trouble ahead when you live only for the approval of others, saying what flatters them, doing what indulges them. Popularity contests are not truth contests—look how many scoundrel preachers were approved by your ancestors! Your task is to be true, not popular.

27-30 "To you who are ready for the truth, I say this: Love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer for that person. If someone slaps you in the face, stand there and take it. If someone grabs your shirt, giftwrap your best coat and make a present of it. If someone takes unfair advantage of you, use the occasion to practice the servant life. No more tit-for-tat stuff. Live generously.

31-34 "Here is a simple rule of thumb for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you; then grab the initiative and do it for them! If you only love the lovable, do you expect a pat on the back? Run-of-the-mill sinners do that. If you only help those who help you, do you expect a medal? Garden-variety sinners do that. If you only give for what you hope to get out of it, do you think that's charity? The stingiest of pawnbrokers does that.

35-36 "I tell you, love your enemies. Help and give without expecting a return. You'll never—I promise—regret it. Live out this God-created identity the way our Father lives toward us, generously and graciously, even when we're at our worst. Our Father is kind; you be kind.

37-38 "Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults— unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don't condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you'll find life a lot easier. Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity."

39-40 He quoted a proverb: "'Can a blind man guide a blind man?' Wouldn't they both end up in the ditch? An apprentice doesn't lecture the master. The point is to be careful who you follow as your teacher.

41-42 "It's easy to see a smudge on your neighbor's face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own. Do you have the nerve to say, 'Let me wash your face for you,' when your own face is distorted by contempt? It's this I-know-better-than-you mentality again, playing a holier-than-thou part instead of just living your own part. Wipe that ugly sneer off your own face and you might be fit to offer a washcloth to your neighbor.

Work the Words into Your Life

43-45 "You don't get wormy apples off a healthy tree, nor good apples off a diseased tree. The health of the apple tells the health of the tree. You must begin with your own life-giving lives. It's who you are, not what you say and do, that counts. Your true being brims over into true words and deeds.

46-47 "Why are you so polite with me, always saying 'Yes, sir,' and 'That's right, sir,' but never doing a thing I tell you? These words I speak to you are not mere additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundation words, words to build a life on.

48-49 "If you work the words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who dug deep and laid the foundation of his house on bedrock. When the river burst its banks and crashed against the house, nothing could shake it; it was built to last. But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don't work them into your life, you are like a dumb carpenter who built a house but skipped the foundation. When the swollen river came crashing in, it collapsed like a house of cards. It was a total loss."
