Jaiegunari buruz

(Mt 12,1-8; Mk 2,23-28)

1 Behin batean, larunbatez, gari-soro batean zehar zihoan Jesus. Eta ikasleek, galburuak hartu eta eskuan aleturik, jan egiten zituzten.t

2 Fariseu batzuek esan zieten:
—Nola ari zarete egiten, larunbatez zilegi ez denat?t

3 Jesusek erantzun zien:
—Ez al duzue irakurri Davidek egin zuena, bera eta bere lagunak goseak aurkitu zirenean?t

4 Jainkoaren etxean sartu, Jaunari eskainiriko ogiak hartu eta jan egin zituen, eta bere lagunei ere eman zizkien, legez apaizek bakarrik jan zitzaketen ogiak izanik.

5 Eta, gainera, esan zien:
—Larunbataren nagusi da Gizonaren Semea.t

Elbarria larunbatez sendatua

(Mt 12,9-14; Mk 3,1-6)

6 Beste larunbat batez, sinagogan sartu zen Jesus irakastera. Bazen han eskuineko besoa elbarri zeukan gizon bat. 7 Lege-maisu eta fariseuak zelatan zegozkion ea larunbatez sendatzen ote zuen, zertan salatu izateko.t

8 Jesusek, haien gogoetak igarririk, beso-elbarriari esan zion:
—Jaiki eta atera zaitez erdira.
Hura jaiki eta atera egin zen.

9 Jesusek esan zien, orduan:
—Galdera bat: Larunbatez zer dugu legezko, on egitea ala gaitz egitea, bizia salbatzea ala kentzea?t

10 Eta, inguruko guztiei begira, honela esan zion gizonari:
—Luzatu beso hori.
Luzatu zuen, eta sendatu egin zitzaion.

11 Lege-maisu eta fariseuak beren onetik aterata gelditu ziren, eta Jesusi zer egingo ari ziren beren artean.

Lautadako hitzaldia: Jainkoaren erregetzari buruz (6,12-49)

Jesusek hamabi apostoluak izendatu

(Mt 10,1-4; Mk 3,13-19)

12 Egun haietako batean, Jesus mendira joan zen otoitz egitera, eta Jainkoari otoitzean igaro zuen gaua.t 13 Eguna argitu zuenean, ikasleei deitu eta haietako hamabi aukeratu zituen, eta apostolu izena eman zien:t 14 Simon —honi Pedro izena eman zion—, honen anaia Andres, Santiago, Joan, Felipe, Bartolome,t 15 Mateo, Tomas, Santiago Alfeorena, Simon —Zelotet zeritzana—,

16 Judas Santiagorena eta Judas Iskariotet —Jesusen saltzaile gertatu zena—.

Jesusi jende-taldea bildu

(Mt 4,23-25; Mk 3,7-12)

17 Jesus, ikasleekin menditik jaitsi ondoren, zelaigune batean gelditu zen. Ikasleetariko asko harekin ziren; baita herriko jende-talde handia ere, Judea osotik, Jerusalemdik eta Tiro eta Sidongot itsasaldetik etorria,t 18 hari entzutera eta berak gaitzetatik senda zitzan. Espiritu gaiztoek oinazetuak sendaturik gelditzen ziren.

19 Jende guztiak Jesus ukitu nahi zuen, denak sendatzen zituen halako indar bat baitzerion.t

Zoriontasunak eta madarikazioak

(Mt 5,1-12)

20 Jesusek, ikasleei begira, honela esan zuen:
«Zorionekoak behartsuokt, zuek baituzue Jainkoa errege.t

21 «Zorionekoak orain gose zaretenok, aseko baitzaituzte Jainkoak.
«Zorionekoak orain negar egiten duzuenok, barre egingo baituzue.t
22 «Zorionekoak zuek, Gizonaren Semea dela eta, jendeak gorrotatu, kanpora bota eta madarikatuko zaituztetenean eta izen txarra emango dizuetenean.t

23 Alai zaitezte egun horretan eta egin pozez jauzi, handia izango baita zuen saria zeruan; gauza bera egin zieten profetei jende horren gurasoekt.t

24 «Baina ai zuek, aberatsok, bai baituzue zeuen poza!t

25 «Ai zuek, orain aseak zaudetenok, gose izango baitzarete!
«Ai zuek, orain barre egiten duzuenok, aiene eta negar egingo baituzue!t

26 «Ai zuek, mundu guztiak zuetaz ongi hitz egingo duenean, gauza bera egin baitzieten sasiprofetei jende horren gurasoek!t

Etsaienganako maitasuna

(Mt 5,38-48; 7,12)

27 «Baina zuei, entzuleoi, hau diotsuet: Maitatu etsaiak, egin ongi gorroto dizuetenei,t

28 bedeinkatu madarikatzen zaituztetenak, egin otoitz izen ona kentzen dizuetenen alde.t
29 «Masail batean jotzen zaituenari eskaini bestea ere; soingainekoa kentzen dizunari, ez ukatu soinekoa ere. 30 Eskatzen dizun edonori, eman, eta zeurea kentzen dizunari, ez bihurrarazi.

31 Eta besteek zuei egitea nahi duzuena, egin zuek ere besteei.t
32 «Maite zaituztetenak bakarrik maite badituzue, zer esker on zor zaizue? Bekatariek ere maite dituzte beren maitaleak. 33 Eta ongi egiten dizuetenei bakarrik egiten badiezue ongi, zer esker on zor zaizue? Bekatariek ere egiten dute beste horrenbeste.t 34 Eta ordaina hartzekotan bakarrik ematen baduzue maileguz, zer esker on zor zaizue? Bekatariek ere aurreratu ohi diote elkarri, beste hainbeste hartzekotan. 35 Ez! Zuek maitatu etsaiak, egin ongi eta eman maileguz ordainari begiratu gabe: handia izango da zuen saria eta Goi-goikoaren seme-alaba izango zarete, ona baita bera esker txarreko eta gaiztoentzat.

36 Izan zaitezte errukitsuak, zuen Aita errukitsuat den bezala.t

«Ez gaitzetsi inor»

(Mt 7,1-5)

37 «Ez gaitzetsi inor eta Jainkoak ere ez zaituzte gaitzetsiko; ez kondenatu inor eta Jainkoak ere ez zaituzte kondenatuko; barkatu, eta Jainkoak ere barkatuko dizue;t

38 eman, eta emango dizue: neurri betea, sakatua, estutua eta leporainokoa emango dizue altzora. Izan ere, zuek zein neurriz neurtu, halakoaz neurtuko zaituzte Jainkoak».
39 Eta parabola bat ere esan zien: «Itsua itsuaren gidari izan ote liteke? Ez ote dira biak zulora eroriko?t

40 Ikaslea ez da irakaslea baino gehiago, baina ongi eskolaturiko ikaslea irakaslea adina izango da.t
41 «Nola ikusten duzu senidearen begiko lasto-izpia eta zeure begiko hagaz ohartzen ez?t

42 Nola esan diezaiokezu senideari: “Adiskide, utzi begian duzun lasto-izpia ateratzen”, zuk zeurean duzun haga ikusten ez duzula? Itxurazale hori! Kendu lehenengo zeure begitik haga, eta orduan ikusiko duzu garbi, senidearen begitik lasto-izpia ateratzeko.

Zuhaitza eta fruitua

(Mt 7,16-20; 12,33-35)

43 «Ez dago zuhaitz onik fruitu txarra ematen duenik, ezta zuhaitz txarrik ere fruitu ona ematen duenik.t 44 Bere fruituetatik antzematen zaio zuhaitzari; ez da arantzatik pikurik biltzen, ezta sasitik ere mahatsik hartzen.

45 Ona denak ona ateratzen du bere barneko ontasun-altxorretik; eta gaiztoak gaitza bere gaiztakeri altxorretik. Ahoak esan, bihotzari gainezka darionetik esaten baitu.

Benetako ikasleak

(Mt 7,21-27)

46 «Zergatik esaten didazue “Jauna, Jauna”, eta ez duzue egiten esaten dizuedana?t 47 Erakutsiko dizuet noren antzeko den niregana hurbildu eta nire esanak entzun eta betetzen dituena: 48 etxea egitean, zulatu, sakondu eta oinarriak harkaitzean hartu zituen gizon baten antzekoa da. Uholdea gertaturik, jo zuen ur-boladak etxea, baina ezin izan zuen dardararazi, sendo egina baitzen. 49 Entzun bai, baina betetzen ez dituena, berriz, etxea lur gainean, oinarririk gabe, egin zuen gizonaren antzekoa da. Jo zuen ur-boladak eta berehala erori zen, eta dena porrokatua gelditu».

Luke 6

Lord of the Sabbath

1 Jesust was going through the grain fields ont a Sabbath,s and his disciples picked some heads of wheat,t rubbed them in their hands, and ate them.t2 But some of the Phariseess said, “Why are yout doing what is against the laws on the Sabbath?”3 Jesust answered them,t “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry –4 how he entered the house of God, tookt and ate the sacred bread,ts which is not lawfuls for any to eat but the priests alone, ands gave it to his companions?”ss

5 Thent he said to them, “The Son of Man is lordts of the Sabbath.”

Healing a Withered Hand

6 Ont another Sabbath, Jesust entered the synagogues and was teaching. Nowt a man was there whose right hand was withered.ts7 The experts in the lawt and the Phariseess watcheds Jesust closely to see ift he would heal on the Sabbath,s so that they could find a reason to accuse him.8 Butt he knews their thoughts,t and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Get up and stand here.”s Sot he rose and stood there.9 Thent Jesus said to them, “I ask you,s is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath or to do evil, to save a life or to destroy it?”10 Aftert looking aroundt at them all, he said to the man,t “Stretch out your hand.” The mant did so, and his hand was restored.s

11 But they were filled with mindless raget and began debating with one another what they would dot to Jesus.

Choosing the Twelve Apostles

12 Nowt it was during this time that Jesust went out to the mountaints to pray, and he spent all nights in prayer to God.t13 Whent morning came, he called his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he also named apostles:s14 Simons (whom he named Peter), and his brother Andrew; and James, John, Philip, Bartholomew,s15 Matthew, Thomas,s James the son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot,s

16 Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot,s who became a traitor.

The Sermon on the Plain

17 Thent he came down with them and stood on a level place.t And a large numbert of his disciples had gatheredtt along witht a vast multitude from all over Judea, fromt Jerusalem,s and from the seacoast of Tyres and Sidon.ss They came to hear him and to be healeds of their diseases,18 and those who suffered fromt uncleans spirits were cured.

19 Thet whole crowd was trying to touch him, because powers was coming out from him and healing them all.

20 Thent he looked upt at his disciples and said:
“Blesseds are you who are poor,s for the kingdom of God belongss to you.

21 “Blessed are you who hungers now, for you will be satisfied.s
“Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.s
22 “Blessed are you when peoplet hate you, and when they exclude you and insult you and reject you as evilts on account of the Son of Man!

23 Rejoice in that day, and jump for joy, becauset your reward is great in heaven. For their ancestorst did the same things to the prophets.s

24 “But woes to you who are rich, for you have receiveds your comfortt already.

25 “Woe to you who are well satisfied with foodt now, for you will be hungry.
“Woe to yous who laughs now, for you will mourn and weep.

26 “Woe to yous when all peoplet speak well of you, for their ancestorst did the same things to the false prophets.
27 “But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies,s do good to those who hate you,28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreatt you.29 To the person who strikes you on the cheek,s offer the other as well,s and from the person who takes away your coat,t do not withhold your tunict either.s30 Give to everyone who asks you,s and do not ask for your possessionst backs from the person who takes them away.

31 Treat otherst in the same way that you would want them to treat you.s
32 “Ift you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinnerss love those who love them.s33 Ands if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Evens sinnerss do the same.34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to be repaid,t what credit is that to you? Even sinnerss lend to sinners, so that they may be repaid in full.t35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back.t Thent your reward will be great, and you will be sonss of the Most High,s because he is kind to ungrateful and evil people.t

36 Be merciful,s just as your Father is merciful.

Do Not Judge Others

37 “Dot not judge,s and you will not be judged;s do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; forgive,s and you will be forgiven.

38 Give, and it will be given to you: A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over,s will be pouredt into your lap. For the measure you use will be the measure you receive.”t
39 He also told them a parable: “Someone who is blind cannot lead another who is blind, can he?t Won’t they both falls into a pit?40 A disciplet is not greater thant his teacher, but everyone when fully trained will be like his teacher.41 Whyt do you see the specks in your brother’s eye, but fail to seet the beam of woods in your own?

42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck from your eye,’ while you yourself don’t see the beam in your own? You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
43 “Fort no good tree bears badt fruit, nor agains does a bad tree bear good fruit,44 for each tree is knowns by its own fruit. For figs are not gatheredt from thorns, nor are grapes pickedt from brambles.ts

45 The good person out of the good treasury of hist hearts produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasuryt produces evil, for his mouth speakss from what fillst his heart.

46 “Whyt do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’t and don’t do what I tell you?s
47 “Everyone who comes to me and listens to my words and puts them into practicet – I will show you what he is like:48 He is like a mant building a house, who dug down deep,t and laid the foundation on bedrock. Whent a flood came, the rivers burst against that house butt could not shake it, because it had been well built.s

49 But the person who hears and does not put my words into practicet is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. Whent the river burst against that house,t it collapsed immediately, and was utterly destroyed!”ts
