یُوحنّا بپتسِمہ دینے والے کی مُنادی

(متّی ۳‏:۱‏-۱۲؛ لُوقا ۳‏:۱‏-۱۸؛ یُوحنّا ۱: ۱۹‏-۲۸)

1 یِسُو ع مسِیح اِبنِ خُدا کی خُوشخبری کا شرُوع۔

2 جَیسا یسعیا ہ نبی کی کِتاب میں لِکھا ہے کہ
دیکھ مَیں اپنا پَیغمبر تیرے آگے بھیجتاہُوں
جو تیری راہ تیّار کرے گا۔

3 بیابان میں پُکارنے والے کی آواز آتی ہے کہ
خُداوند کی راہ تیّار کرو۔
اُس کے راستے سِیدھے بناؤ۔
4 یُوحنّا آیا اور بیابان میں بپتِسمہ دیتا اور گُناہوں کی مُعافی کے لِئے تَوبہ کے بپتِسمہ کی مُنادی کرتا تھا۔

5 اور یہُودیہ کے مُلک کے سب لوگ اور یروشلِیم کے سب رہنے والے نِکل کر اُس کے پاس گئے اور اُنہوں نے اپنے گُناہوں کا اِقرار کر کے دریایِ یَردن میں اُس سے بپتِسمہ لِیا۔
6 اور یُوحنّا اُونٹ کے بالوں کا لِباس پہنے اور چمڑے کا پٹکا اپنی کمر سے باندھے رہتا اور ٹِڈّیاں اور جنگلی شہد کھاتا تھا۔ 7 اور یہ مُنادی کرتا تھا کہ میرے بعد وہ شخص آنے والا ہے جو مُجھ سے زورآور ہے ۔ مَیں اِس لائِق نہیں کہ جُھک کر اُس کی جُوتِیوں کا تسمہ کھولُوں۔

8 مَیں نے تو تُم کو پانی سے بپتِسمہ دِیا مگر وہ تُم کو رُوحُ القُدس سے بپتِسمہ دے گا۔

یِسُوع کا بپتسِمہ اور آزمایش

(متّی ۳‏:۱۳‏-۴‏:۱۱؛ لُوقا ۳‏:۲۱‏-۲۲، ۴‏:۱‏-۱۳)

11 اور آسمان سے آواز آئی کہ تُو میرا پیارا بیٹا ہے ۔ تُجھ سے مَیں خُوش ہُوں۔
12 اور فی الفَور رُوح نے اُسے بیابان میں بھیج دِیا۔

13 اور وہ بیابان میں چالِیس دِن تک شَیطان سے آزمایا گیا اور جنگلی جانوروں کے ساتھ رہا کِیا اور فرِشتے اُس کی خِدمت کرتے رہے۔

یِسُوع چار ماہی گیروں کو بُلاتا ہے

(متّی ۴‏:۱۲‏-۲۲؛ لُوقا۴‏:۱۴‏-۱۵، ۵‏:۱‏-۱۱)

15 اور کہا کہ وقت پُورا ہو گیا ہے اور خُدا کی بادشاہی نزدِیک آ گئی ہے ۔ تَوبہ کرو اور خُوشخبری پر اِیمان لاؤ۔
16 اور گلِیل کی جِھیل کے کنارے کنارے جاتے ہُوئے اُس نے شمعُو ن اور شمعُو ن کے بھائی اندر یاس کو جِھیل میں جال ڈالتے دیکھا کیونکہ وہ ماہی گِیر تھے۔ 17 اور یِسُو ع نے اُن سے کہا میرے پِیچھے چلے آؤ تو مَیں تُم کو آدم گِیر بناؤں گا۔

18 وہ فی الفَور جال چھوڑ کر اُس کے پِیچھے ہو لِئے۔
19 اور تھوڑی دُور بڑھ کر اُس نے زبد ی کے بیٹے یعقُو ب اور اُس کے بھائی یُوحنّا کو کشتی پر جالوں کی مرمّت کرتے دیکھا۔

20 اُس نے فی الفَور اُن کو بُلایا اور وہ اپنے باپ زبد ی کو کشتی پر مزدُوروں کے ساتھ چھوڑ کر اُس کے پِیچھے ہو لِئے۔ ایک بدرُوح گرفتہ آدمی (لُوقا۴‏:۳۱‏-۳۷)
21 پِھروہ کفرنحُو م میں داخِل ہُوئے اور وہ فی الفَور سبت کے دِن عِبادت خانہ میں جا کر تعلِیم دینے لگا۔

22 اور لوگ اُس کی تعلِیم سے حَیران ہُوئے کیونکہ وہ اُن کو فقِیہوں کی طرح نہیں بلکہ صاحبِ اِختیار کی طرح تعلِیم دیتا تھا۔
23 اور فی الفَور اُن کے عِبادت خانہ میں ایک شخص مِلا جِس میں ناپاک رُوح تھی ۔ وہ یُوں کہہ کر چِلاّیا۔

24 کہ اَے یِسُو ع ناصری! ہمیں تُجھ سے کیا کام؟ کِیا تُو ہم کو ہلاک کرنے آیا ہے؟ مَیں تُجھے جانتا ہُوں کہ تُو کَون ہے ۔ خُدا کا قدُّوس ہے۔

25 یِسُو ع نے اُسے جِھڑک کر کہا چُپ رہ اور اِس میں سے نِکل جا۔
26 پس وہ ناپاک رُوح اُسے مروڑ کر اور بڑی آواز سے چِلاّ کر اُس میں سے نِکل گئی۔

27 اور سب لوگ حَیران ہُوئے اور آپس میں یہ کہہ کر بحث کرنے لگے کہ یہ کیا ہے؟ یہ تو نئی تعلِیم ہے! وہ ناپاک رُوحوں کو بھی اِختیار کے ساتھ حُکم دیتا ہے اور وہ اُس کا حُکم مانتی ہیں۔

28 اور فی الفَور اُس کی شُہرت گلِیل کی اُس تمام نواحی میں ہر جگہ پَھیل گئی۔

یِسُوع بُہت لوگوں کو شِفا دیتا ہے

(متّی ۸‏:۱۴‏-۱۷؛ لُوقا ۴: ۳۸‏-۴۱)

31 اُس نے پاس جا کر اور اُس کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر اُسے اُٹھایا اور تَپ اُس پر سے اُتر گئی اور وہ اُن کی خِدمت کرنے لگی۔
32 شام کو جب سُورج ڈُوب گیا تو لوگ سب بِیماروں کو اور اُن کو جِن میں بدرُوحیں تِھیں اُس کے پاس لائے۔ 33 اور سارا شہر دروازہ پر جمع ہو گیا۔

34 اور اُس نے بُہتوں کو جو طرح طرح کی بِیمارِیوں میں گرِفتار تھے اچّھا کِیا اور بُہت سی بدرُوحوں کو نِکالا اور بدرُوحوں کو بولنے نہ دِیا کیونکہ وہ اُسے پہچانتی تِھیں۔

یِسُوع گلِیل میں مُنادی کرتا ہے

(لُوقا ۴‏:۴۲‏-۴۴)

37 اور جب وہ مِلا تو اُس سے کہا کہ سب لوگ تُجھے ڈُھونڈ رہے ہیں۔

38 اُس نے اُن سے کہا آؤ ہم اَور کہِیں آس پاس کے شہروں میں چلیں تاکہ مَیں وہاں بھی مُنادی کرُوں کیونکہ مَیں اِسی لِئے نِکلا ہُوں۔

39 اور وہ تمام گلِیل میں اُن کے عِبادت خانوں میں جا جا کر مُنادی کرتا اور بدرُوحوں کو نِکالتا رہا۔

یِسُوع ایک کوڑھی کو شِفا دیتا ہے

(متّی ۸‏:۱‏-۴؛ لُوقا ۵‏:۱۲‏-۱۶)

40 اور ایک کوڑھی نے اُس کے پاس آ کر اُس کی مِنّت کی اور اُس کے سامنے گُھٹنے ٹیک کر اُس سے کہا اگر تُو چاہے تو مُجھے پاک صاف کر سکتا ہے۔
41 اُس نے اُس پر ترس کھا کر ہاتھ بڑھایا اور اُسے چُھو کر اُس سے کہا مَیں چاہتا ہُوں ۔ تُو پاک صاف ہو جا۔ 42 اور فی الفَور اُس کا کوڑھ جاتا رہا اور وہ پاک صاف ہو گیا۔ 43 اور اُس نے اُسے تاکِید کر کے فی الفَور رُخصت کِیا۔

44 اور اُس سے کہا خبردار کِسی سے کُچھ نہ کہنا مگر جا کر اپنے تئِیں کاہِن کو دِکھا اور اپنے پاک صاف ہو جانے کی بابت اُن چِیزوں کو جو مُوسیٰ نے مُقرّر کِیں نذر گُذران تاکہ اُن کے لِئے گواہی ہو۔
45 لیکن وہ باہر جا کر بُہت چرچا کرنے لگا اور اِس بات کو اَیسا مشہُور کِیا کہ یِسُو ع شہر میں پِھر ظاہِراً داخِل نہ ہو سکا بلکہ باہر وِیران مقاموں میں رہا اور لوگ چاروں طرف سے اُس کے پاس آتے تھے۔

Mark 1

Preaching of John the Baptist

1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

2 As it is written in Isaiah the prophet:
"BEHOLD, I SEND MY MESSENGER AHEAD OF YOU,
WHO WILL PREPARE YOUR WAY;

3 THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS,
'MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD,
MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT.'"4 John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness tpreaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.5 And all the country of Judea was going out to him, and all the people of Jerusalem; and they were being baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.6 John was clothed with camel's hair and wore a leather belt around his waist, and his diet was locusts and wild honey.7 And he was preaching, and saying, "After me One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to stoop down and untie the thong of His sandals.8 I baptized you twith water; but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."

The Baptism of Jesus

9 In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.10 Immediately coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens opening, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him;11 and a voice came out of the heavens: "You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased."

12 Immediately the Spirit *impelled Him to go out into the wilderness.13 And He was in the wilderness forty days being tempted by Satan; and He was with the wild beasts, and the angels were ministering to Him.

Jesus Preaches in Galilee

14 Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

16 As He was going along by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew, the brother of Simon, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen.17 And Jesus said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men."18 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.19 Going on a little farther, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.20 Immediately He called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went away to follow Him.

21 They *went into Capernaum; and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and began to teach.22 They were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.23 Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,24 saying, "What business do we have with each other, Jesus tof Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are-the Holy One of God!"25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!"26 Throwing him into convulsions, the unclean spirit cried out with a loud voice and came out of him.27 They were all amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him."28 Immediately the news about Him spread everywhere into all the surrounding district of Galilee.

Crowds Healed

29 And immediately after they came out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.30 Now Simon's mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever; and immediately they *spoke to Jesus about her.31 And He came to her and raised her up, taking her by the hand, and the fever left her, and she twaited on them.

32 When evening came, after the sun had set, they began bringing to Him all who were ill and those who were demon-possessed.33 And the whole city had gathered at the door.34 And He healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.

35 In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.36 Simon and his companions searched for Him;37 they found Him, and *said to Him, "Everyone is looking for You."38 He *said to them, "Let us go somewhere else to the towns nearby, so that I may preach there also; for that is what I came for."39 And He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out the demons.

40 And a leper *came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."41 Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and *said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."42 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.43 And He sternly warned him and immediately sent him away,44 and He *said to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."45 But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but tstayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere.
