MARCOS 12

Ang Paanggid Parte sa mga Agsador

(Mat. 21:33-46; Luc. 20:9-19)

1 Dayon naghambal si Jesus sa ila paagi sa mga paanggid,2 Sang tion na sang pagpamupo sang ubas, ginsugo niya ang isa ka suluguon sa mga agsador sa pagkuha sang iya parte.3 Pero pag-abot didto sang suluguon, gindakop siya sang mga agsador kag ginbunal, kag ginpapauli nga wala gid sing dala.4 Ginpadala naman sang tag-iya ang isa pa ka suluguon, pero ginpakahuy-an nila kag ginlampusan sa ulo.5 Nagpadala pa gid siya sang isa pa ka suluguon, kag ila ini ginpatay. Madamo pa gid ang ginpadala sang tag-iya. Ang iban ginbunal nila, kag ang iban ginpatay.6 Sa katapusan, wala na siya sang suluguon nga ipadala. Gani ginpadala niya ang iya pinalangga nga anak. Kay naghunahuna siya nga tahuron nila ang iya anak.7 Pero pagkakita sang mga agsador sa iya anak, nagsiling sila,

8 Gani gindakop nila siya kag ginpatay. Ginhaboy nila ang iya bangkay sa guwa sang talamnan sang ubas."
9  it Dayon nagsiling si Jesus, 10  it Nagpadayon si Jesus sa pagsiling,

11 Ang Ginoo ang naghimo sini

12 Nahibaluan sang manugdumala nga mga Judio nga sila gid ang ginatumod sang sadto nga paanggid. Gani gusto nila nga dakpon si Jesus, pero nahadlok sila sa mga tawo. Gani ginpabay-an na lang nila siya, kag naglakat sila.

Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Pagbayad sang Buhis

(Mat. 22:15-22; Luc. 20:20-26)

13  Ginsugo nila ang pila ka mga Pariseo kag pila ka mga miyembro sang partido ni Herodes sa pagdakop-dakop kay Jesus paagi sa iya paghambal agod maakusar nila siya .14 Gani nagkadto sila kay Jesus kag nagpamangkot,15 Pero nahibaluan ni Jesus nga nagapakuno-kuno sila, gani nagsiling siya sa ila,16 Gani gindal-an nila siya. Dayon nagpamangkot siya sa ila, Nagsabat sila,

17 Gani nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, Kag natingala gid sila sa iya.

Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Pagkabanhaw

(Mat. 22:23-33; Luc. 20:27-40)

18 Dayon may mga Saduceo nga nagpalapit kay Jesus. Ini nga mga tawo wala nagapati nga may pagkabanhaw.19 Nagpamangkot sila,20 Karon, may pito ka mag-ulutod nga lalaki. Ang kamagulangan nagpangasawa, kag napatay nga wala sing bata.21 Gani ang balo ginpangasawa sang madason nga utod. Ini siya napatay man nga wala sila sing bata. Gani ang balo ginpangasawa naman sang ikatlo kag amo man ang natabo,22 hasta sa ikapito. Nagkalamatay sila tanan nga wala gid nakapabata sa sadto nga babayi. Sang ulihi ang babayi napatay man.

23 Karon, kon mag-abot na ang pagkabanhaw, kay sin-o gid siya nga asawa, kay sila nga pito nagpangasawa sa iya?"
24 Nagsiling si Jesus sa ila,25 Kay kon mabanhaw na ang mga patay, indi na sila mag-asawahay, tungod nga pareho na sila sang mga anghel sa langit.26  Kon parte sa mga patay nga mabanhaw, wala bala kamo nakabasa sang ginsulat ni Moises parte sa nagadabadaba nga kahoy-kahoy, sa diin nagsiling ang Dios kay Moises, ? + 26 Exo. 3:6.

27  it Ti buhi sila, kay ang Dios indi Dios sang mga patay kundi Dios sang mga buhi. Gani sala gid kamo."

Ang Labing Importante nga Sugo

(Mat. 22:34-40; Luc. 10:25-28)

28 May isa ka manunudlo sang Kasuguan didto nga nakabati sang ila diskusyon. Nabatian niya nga maayo ang sabat ni Jesus. Gani nagpalapit siya kag nagpamangkot man,29 Nagsabat si Jesus,30  Gani higugmaon mo ang Ginoo nga imo Dios sa bug-os mo nga tagipusuon, sa bug-os mo nga kalag, sa bug-os mo nga hunahuna kag sa bug-os mo nga kusog.> + 29,30 Deu. 6:4,5. 31  Ang madason nga labing importante nga sugo amo ini: + 31 Lev. 19:18. Wala na sing sugo nga labaw pa sa sining duha."32 Nagsiling ang manunudlo sang Kasuguan sa iya,33  Kag ang paghigugma sa iya sa bug-os nga tagipusuon, sa bug-os nga hunahuna, kag sa bug-os nga kusog, kag ang paghigugma sa aton isigkatawo pareho sang paghigugma naton sa aton kaugalingon mas importante sang sa tanan nga halad nga ginasunog + 33 halad nga ginasunog: Tan-awa ang Lista sang mga Pulong sa likod. f kag iban pa nga mga halad."

34 Pagkabati ni Jesus nga husto gid ang iya mga sabat, nagsiling siya sa iya, Halin sadto wala na gid sing may nangahas nga magpamangkot kay Jesus.

Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Cristo

(Mat. 22:41-46; Luc. 20:41-44)

35 Sang nagapanudlo si Jesus sa templo nagsiling siya,

36 Si David mismo nga gintuytuyan sang Espiritu Santo nagsiling,

37  Kon gintawag siya ni David nga iya Ginoo, paano bala nga siya kaliwat lang ni David?"
Naluyag magpamati kay Jesus ang madamo gid nga mga tawo.

Nagpaandam si Jesus Batok sa mga Manunudlo sang Kasuguan

(Mat. 23:1-36; Luc. 20:45-47)

38 Sa iya mga pagpanudlo nagsiling siya,39 Sa mga simbahan ukon sa mga punsyon, ginapili gid nila ang mga pulungkuan nga para sa mga dungganon.

40 Ginaubos nila kuha ang mga pagkabutang sang mga balo nga babayi, kag ginatabon-tabunan lang nila ang ila ginahimo paagi sa malawig nga mga pagpangamuyo. Ini sila magabaton sang mas dako nga silot."

Ang Halad sang Balo nga Babayi

(Luc. 21:1-4)

41 Nagpungko si Jesus sa tupad sang ginahulugan sang kuwarta didto sa templo kag ginpanilagan niya ang mga tawo nga nagahulog sang ila mga kuwarta. Madamo nga mga manggaranon ang nagahulog sang dalagko nga mga kantidad.42 May nagpalapit nga isa ka imol nga balo nga babayi kag naghulog sang duha lang ka sinsilyo.43 Gintawag ni Jesus ang iya mga sumulunod kag nagsiling sa ila,44 Kay sila madamo ang ila kuwarta kag ang ila ginhatag baliwala lang sa ila; pero ang balo, bisan imol siya, ginhatag niya ang tanan nga iya ginasaligan agod mabuhi."

Mark 12

The Story About a Vineyard

1-2 Then Jesus started telling them stories. "A man planted a vineyard. He fenced it, dug a winepress, erected a watchtower, turned it over to the farmhands, and went off on a trip. At the time for harvest, he sent a servant back to the farmhands to collect his profits.

3-5 "They grabbed him, beat him up, and sent him off empty-handed. So he sent another servant. That one they tarred and feathered. He sent another and that one they killed. And on and on, many others. Some they beat up, some they killed.

6 "Finally there was only one left: a beloved son. In a last-ditch effort, he sent him, thinking, 'Surely they will respect my son.'

7-8 "But those farmhands saw their chance. They rubbed their hands together in greed and said, 'This is the heir! Let's kill him and have it all for ourselves.' They grabbed him, killed him, and threw him over the fence.

9-11 "What do you think the owner of the vineyard will do? Right. He'll come and clean house. Then he'll assign the care of the vineyard to others. Read it for yourselves in Scripture:
That stone the masons threw out is now the cornerstone! This is God's work; we rub our eyes—we can hardly believe it!"

12 They wanted to lynch him then and there but, intimidated by public opinion, held back. They knew the story was about them. They got away from there as fast as they could.

Paying Taxes to Caesar

13-14 They sent some Pharisees and followers of Herod to bait him, hoping to catch him saying something incriminating. They came up and said, "Teacher, we know you have integrity, that you are indifferent to public opinion, don't pander to your students, and teach the way of God accurately. Tell us: Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?"

15-16 He knew it was a trick question, and said, "Why are you playing these games with me? Bring me a coin and let me look at it." They handed him one.
"This engraving—who does it look like? And whose name is on it?"
"Caesar," they said.

17 Jesus said, "Give Caesar what is his, and give God what is his."
Their mouths hung open, speechless.

Our Intimacies Will Be with God

18-23 Some Sadducees, the party that denies any possibility of resurrection, came up and asked, "Teacher, Moses wrote that if a man dies and leaves a wife but no child, his brother is obligated to marry the widow and have children. Well, there once were seven brothers. The first took a wife. He died childless. The second married her. He died, and still no child. The same with the third. All seven took their turn, but no child. Finally the wife died. When they are raised at the resurrection, whose wife is she? All seven were her husband."

24-27 Jesus said, "You're way off base, and here's why: One, you don't know your Bibles; two, you don't know how God works. After the dead are raised up, we're past the marriage business. As it is with angels now, all our ecstasies and intimacies then will be with God. And regarding the dead, whether or not they are raised, don't you ever read the Bible? How God at the bush said to Moses, 'I am—not was—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? The living God is God of the living, not the dead. You're way, way off base."

The Most Important Commandment

28 One of the religion scholars came up. Hearing the lively exchanges of question and answer and seeing how sharp Jesus was in his answers, he put in his question: "Which is most important of all the commandments?"

29-31 Jesus said, "The first in importance is, 'Listen, Israel: The Lord your God is one; so love the Lord God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy.' And here is the second: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' There is no other commandment that ranks with these."

32-33 The religion scholar said, "A wonderful answer, Teacher! So lucid and accurate—that God is one and there is no other. And loving him with all passion and intelligence and energy, and loving others as well as you love yourself. Why, that's better than all offerings and sacrifices put together!"

34 When Jesus realized how insightful he was, he said, "You're almost there, right on the border of God's kingdom."
After that, no one else dared ask a question.

35-37 While he was teaching in the Temple, Jesus asked, "How is it that the religion scholars say that the Messiah is David's 'son,' when we all know that David, inspired by the Holy Spirit, said,
God said to my Master, "Sit here at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet." "David here designates the Messiah 'my Master'—so how can the Messiah also be his 'son'?"
The large crowd was delighted with what they heard.

38-40 He continued teaching. "Watch out for the religion scholars. They love to walk around in academic gowns, preening in the radiance of public flattery, basking in prominent positions, sitting at the head table at every church function. And all the time they are exploiting the weak and helpless. The longer their prayers, the worse they get. But they'll pay for it in the end."

41-44 Sitting across from the offering box, he was observing how the crowd tossed money in for the collection. Many of the rich were making large contributions. One poor widow came up and put in two small coins—a measly two cents. Jesus called his disciples over and said, "The truth is that this poor widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together. All the others gave what they'll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn't afford—she gave her all."
