La résurrection de Jésus

1 Quand le jour du sabbat fut passé, Marie de Magdala, Marie mère de Jacques, et Salomé achetèrent des huiles parfumées pour aller embaumer le corps de Jésus. 2 Très tôt le dimanche matin, au lever du soleil, elles se rendirent au tombeau. 3 Elles se disaient l’une à l’autre : « Qui va rouler pour nous la pierre qui ferme l’entrée du tombeau ? » 4 Mais quand elles regardèrent, elles virent que la pierre, qui était très grande, avait déjà été roulée de côté. 5 Elles entrèrent alors dans le tombeau ; elles virent là un jeune homme, assis à droite, qui portait une robe blanche, et elles furent effrayées. 6 Mais il leur dit : « Ne soyez pas effrayées ; vous cherchez Jésus de Nazareth, celui qu’on a cloué sur la croix ; il est revenu de la mort à la vie, il n’est pas ici. Regardez, voici l’endroit où on l’avait déposé. 7 Allez maintenant dire ceci à ses disciples, y compris à Pierre : “Il va vous attendre en Galilée ; c’est là que vous le verrez, comme il vous l’a ditt.” »
8 Elles sortirent alors et s’enfuirent loin du tombeau, car elles étaient toutes tremblantes de crainte. Et elles ne dirent rien à personne, parce qu’elles avaient peur.Jésus se montre à Marie de Magdala

[ 9 t Après que Jésus eut passé de la mort à la vie tôt le dimanche matin, il se montra tout d’abord à Marie de Magdala, de laquelle il avait chassé sept esprits mauvais. 10 Elle alla le raconter à ceux qui avaient été avec lui. Ils étaient tristes et pleuraient.
11 Mais quand ils entendirent qu’elle disait : « Jésus est vivant, je l’ai vu ! », ils ne la crurent pas.Jésus se montre à deux disciples

12 Ensuite, Jésus se montra d’une manière différente à deux disciples qui étaient en chemin pour aller à la campagne.
13 Ils revinrent et le racontèrent aux autres, qui ne les crurent pas non plus.Jésus se montre aux onze disciples

14 Enfin, Jésus se montra aux onze disciples pendant qu’ils mangeaient ; il leur reprocha de manquer de foi et de s’être obstinés à ne pas croire ceux qui l’avaient vu vivant. 15 Puis il leur dit : « Allez dans le monde entier annoncer la Bonne Nouvelle à tous les êtres humainst. 16 Celui qui croira et sera baptisé sera sauvé ; mais celui qui ne croira pas sera condamné. 17 Et voici à quels signes on pourra reconnaître ceux qui auront cru : ils chasseront des esprits mauvais en mon nom ; ils parleront des langues nouvelles ;
18 s’ils prennent des serpents dans leurs mains ou boivent du poison, il ne leur arrivera aucun mal ; ils poseront les mains sur les malades et ceux-ci seront guéris. »Jésus retourne auprès de Dieu

19 Après leur avoir ainsi parlé, le Seigneur Jésus fut enlevé au ciel et s’assit à la droite de Dieut. 20 Les disciples partirent pour annoncer partout la Bonne Nouvelle. Le Seigneur les aidait dans ce travail et confirmait la vérité de leur prédication par les signes miraculeux qui l’accompagnaient.]

1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.2 And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen.3 And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?4 and looking up, they see that the stone is rolled back: for it was exceeding great.5 And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.6 And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.8 And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.9 Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.10 She went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.11 And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved.12 And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.13 And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.14 And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.17 And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;18 they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
