La résurrection de Jésus
Mt 28.1-8 ; Lc 24.1-11 ; Jn 20.1-2
1 tLorsque le sabbat fut passé, Marie-Madeleine, Marie, mère de Jacques, et Salomé achetèrent des aromates, pour venir l’embaumer. 2 tLe premier jour de la semaine, elles viennent au tombeau de bon matin, au lever du soleil. 3 tElles disaient entre elles : Qui roulera pour nous la pierre de l’entrée du tombeau ?
4 Levant les yeux, elles voient que la pierre, qui était très grande, a été roulée.
5 tEn entrant dans le tombeau, elles virent un jeune homme assis à droite, vêtu d’une robe blanche ; elles furent effrayées. 6 tIl leur dit : Ne vous effrayez pas ; vous cherchez Jésus le Nazaréen, le crucifié ; il s’est réveillé, il n’est pas ici ; voici le lieu où on l’avait mis.
7 tMais allez dire à ses disciples et à Pierre qu’il vous précède en Galilée : c’est là que vous le verrez, comme il vous l’a dit.
8 tElles sortirent du tombeau et s’enfuirent tremblantes et stupéfaites. Et elles ne dirent rien à personne, car elles avaient peur.* * *Conclusion longue
9 t[Après s’être relevé, au matin du premier jour de la semaine, il apparut d’abord à Marie-Madeleine, de laquelle il avait chassé sept démons. 10 Elle alla porter la nouvelle à ceux qui avaient été avec lui, alors qu’ils étaient en deuil et qu’ils pleuraient.
11 tQuand ils entendirent qu’il était vivant et qu’elle l’avait vu, ils ne le crurent pas.
12 tAprès cela, il se manifesta, sous une autre apparence, à deux d’entre eux qui allaient à la campagne.
13 Ils revinrent eux aussi l’annoncer aux autres, qui ne les crurent pas non plus.
14 tEnfin, il se manifesta aux Onze, pendant qu’ils étaient à table, et il leur reprocha sévèrement leur manque de foi et leur obstination, parce qu’ils n’avaient pas cru ceux qui l’avaient vu après son réveil. 15 tPuis il leur dit : Allez dans le monde entier et proclamez la bonne nouvelle à toute la création. 16 tCelui qui deviendra croyant et recevra le baptême sera sauvé, mais celui qui ne croira pas sera condamné. 17 tVoici les signes qui accompagneront ceux qui deviendront croyants : par mon nom, ils chasseront les démons ; ils parleront des langues nouvelles ;
18 tils saisiront des serpents ; s’ils boivent un breuvage mortel, quel qu’il soit, il ne leur fera aucun mal ; ils poseront les mains sur les malades et ceux-ci seront guéris.
19 tLe Seigneur Jésus, après leur avoir parlé, fut enlevé au ciel et il s’assit à la droite de Dieu.
20 tEt ils s’en allèrent proclamer partout le message. Le Seigneur œuvrait avec eux et confirmait la Parole par les signes qui l’accompagnaient.]* * *Conclusion courte
[Mais elles annoncèrent brièvement aux compagnons de Pierre tout ce qu’on leur avait enjoint de dire. Après cela Jésus lui-même les envoya porter de l’Orient à l’Occident la proclamation sacrée et impérissable du salut éternel.Amen.]

1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.2 And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen.3 And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?4 and looking up, they see that the stone is rolled back: for it was exceeding great.5 And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.6 And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.8 And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.9 Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.10 She went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.11 And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved.12 And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.13 And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.14 And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.17 And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;18 they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed.
