مرقس 16
1 ہفتے کی شام کو جب سبت کا دن گزر گیا تو مریم مگدلینی، یعقوب کی ماں مریم اور سلومی نے خوشبودار مسالے خرید لئے، کیونکہ وہ قبر کے پاس جا کر اُنہیں عیسیٰ کی لاش پر لگانا چاہتی تھیں۔2 چنانچہ وہ اتوار کو صبح سویرے ہی قبر پر گئیں۔ سورج طلوع ہو رہا تھا۔3 راستے میں وہ ایک دوسرے سے پوچھنے لگیں، ”کون ہمارے لئے قبر کے منہ سے پتھر کو لُڑھکائے گا؟“4 لیکن جب وہاں پہنچیں اور نظر اُٹھا کر قبر پر غور کیا تو دیکھا کہ پتھر کو ایک طرف لُڑھکایا جا چکا ہے۔ یہ پتھر بہت بڑا تھا۔5 وہ قبر میں داخل ہوئیں۔ وہاں ایک جوان آدمی نظر آیا جو سفید لباس پہنے ہوئے دائیں طرف بیٹھا تھا۔ وہ گھبرا گئیں۔6 اُس نے کہا، ”مت گھبراؤ۔ تم عیسیٰ ناصری کو ڈھونڈ رہی ہو جو مصلوب ہوا تھا۔ وہ جی اُٹھا ہے، وہ یہاں نہیں ہے۔ اُس جگہ کو خود دیکھ لو جہاں اُسے رکھا گیا تھا۔7 اب جاؤ، اُس کے شاگردوں اور پطرس کو بتا دو کہ وہ تمہارے آگے آگے گلیل پہنچ جائے گا۔ وہیں تم اُسے دیکھو گے، جس طرح اُس نے تم کو بتایا تھا۔“8 خواتین لرزتی اور اُلجھی ہوئی حالت میں قبر سے نکل کر بھاگ گئیں۔ اُنہوں نے کسی کو بھی کچھ نہ بتایا، کیونکہ وہ نہایت سہمی ہوئی تھیں۔9 جب عیسیٰ اتوار کو صبح سویرے جی اُٹھا تو پہلا شخص جس پر وہ ظاہر ہوا مریم مگدلینی تھی جس سے اُس نے سات بدروحیں نکالی تھیں۔10 مریم عیسیٰ کے ساتھیوں کے پاس گئی جو ماتم کر رہے اور رو رہے تھے۔ اُس نے اُنہیں جو کچھ ہوا تھا بتایا۔11 لیکن گو اُنہوں نے سنا کہ عیسیٰ زندہ ہے اور کہ مریم نے اُسے دیکھا ہے توبھی اُنہیں یقین نہ آیا۔12 اِس کے بعد عیسیٰ دوسری صورت میں اُن میں سے دو پر ظاہر ہوا جب وہ یروشلم سے دیہات کی طرف پیدل چل رہے تھے۔13 دونوں نے واپس جا کر یہ بات باقی لوگوں کو بتائی۔ لیکن اُنہیں اِن کا بھی یقین نہ آیا۔14 آخر میں عیسیٰ گیارہ شاگردوں پر بھی ظاہر ہوا۔ اُس وقت وہ میز پر بیٹھے کھانا کھا رہے تھے۔ اُس نے اُنہیں اُن کی بےاعتقادی اور سخت دلی کے سبب سے ڈانٹا، کہ اُنہوں نے اُن کا یقین نہ کیا جنہوں نے اُسے زندہ دیکھا تھا۔15 پھر اُس نے اُن سے کہا، ”پوری دنیا میں جا کر تمام مخلوقات کو اللہ کی خوش خبری سناؤ۔16 جو بھی ایمان لا کر بپتسمہ لے اُسے نجات ملے گی۔ لیکن جو ایمان نہ لائے اُسے مجرم قرار دیا جائے گا۔17 اور جہاں جہاں لوگ ایمان رکھیں گے وہاں یہ الٰہی نشان ظاہر ہوں گے: وہ میرے نام سے بدروحیں نکال دیں گے، نئی نئی زبانیں بولیں گے18 اور سانپوں کو اُٹھا کر محفوظ رہیں گے۔ مہلک زہر پینے سے اُنہیں نقصان نہیں پہنچے گا اور جب وہ اپنے ہاتھ مریضوں پر رکھیں گے تو شفا پائیں گے۔“19 اُن سے بات کرنے کے بعد خداوند عیسیٰ کو آسمان پر اُٹھا لیا گیا اور وہ اللہ کے دہنے ہاتھ بیٹھ گیا۔20 اِس پر شاگردوں نے نکل کر ہر جگہ منادی کی۔ اور خداوند نے اُن کی حمایت کر کے الٰہی نشانوں سے کلام کی تصدیق کی۔
Mark 16
1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.2 And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen.3 And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?4 and looking up, they see that the stone is rolled back: for it was exceeding great.5 And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.6 And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.8 And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.9 Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.10 She went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.11 And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved.12 And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.13 And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.14 And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.17 And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;18 they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
