Markus 16
Berita Kebangkitan Yesus
1 Ketika hari Sabatt sudah lewat, Maria Magdalena, Maria ibu Yakobus, dan Salome membeli rempah-rempah. Mereka bermaksud akan menaburkan rempah-rempah itu pada tubuh Yesus.2 Pagi-pagi pada hari minggu itu, segera sesudah matahari terbit, mereka pergi ke kubur.3 Mereka berkata satu sama lain, "Siapa yang akan menolong kita menggulingkan batu itu dari tempat masuk ke kubur?"4 Kemudian mereka melihat bahwa batu itu sudah dipindahkan. Batu itu sangat besar.5 Mereka masuk ke kubur itu. Mereka melihat seorang pemuda berpakaian putih duduk di sisi kanan kubur itu. Mereka pun terkejut.6 Orang itu berkata kepada mereka, "Jangan takut. Kamu mencari Yesus dari Nazaret yang telah disalibkan. Ia sudah bangkit. Ia tidak ada di sini. Lihat itu tempat-Nya, di situlah mereka meletakkan-Nya.7 Pergilah dan katakan kepada murid-murid-Nya dan kepada Petrus, Yesus akan mendahului kamu ke Galilea. Kamu akan bertemu dengan Dia di sana, seperti yang telah dikatakan-Nya kepadamu."8 Mereka sangat takut dan bingung lalu meninggalkan kubur itu dan melarikan diri. Mereka tidak mengatakan apa-apa kepada siapa pun karena ketakutan.
Beberapa Pengikut Melihat Yesus
9 Sesudah Yesus bangkit pagi-pagi pada hari minggu itu, Ia memperlihatkan diri pertama-tama kepada Maria Magdalena. Yesus pernah mengusir tujuh roh jahat dari dia.10 Maria Magdalena pergi memberitakan kepada mereka yang telah menyertai Yesus bahwa ia sudah melihat-Nya. Saat itu mereka sedang berduka dan menangis.11 Ketika mereka mendengar, bahwa Yesus hidup dan Maria Magdalena sudah melihat-Nya, mereka tidak percaya.12 Sesudah itu, Yesus muncul dalam bentuk lain kepada dua orang murid-Nya. Mereka sedang berjalan menuju kampungnya. Mereka kembali dan melaporkan pengalamannya kepada para pengikut yang lain,13 tetapi mereka itu tidak percaya kepada kedua orang itu.
Yesus Berbicara kepada Para Rasul
14 Kemudian Yesus memperlihatkan diri-Nya kepada ke-11 murid itu ketika mereka sedang makan. Dia mengecam mereka karena kurang percaya. Mereka keras kepala dan tidak mau percaya kepada orang yang telah melihat Yesus sudah bangkit.15 Yesus berkata kepada mereka, "Pergilah ke seluruh dunia. Beritakanlah Kabar Baikt kepada semua orang.16 Orang yang percaya dan dibaptist akan selamat, tetapi orang yang tidak percaya akan dihukum.17 Sebagai bukti bahwa orang adalah percaya: Mereka memakai nama-Ku mengusir roh-roh jahat; mereka dapat berbicara dalam bahasa-bahasa yang tidak dipelajarinya.18 Mereka akan memegang ular. Apabila mereka minum racun, mereka tidak celaka. Mereka akan meletakkan tangan atas orang sakit, dan mereka pun menjadi sembuh."
Yesus Naik ke Surga
19 Setelah Tuhan Yesus berbicara dengan para pengikut-Nya, Ia terangkat ke surga. Ia duduk di tempat yang paling terhormat di surga.20 Para pengikut-Nya pergi ke semua penjuru dunia dan memberitakan Kabar Baik.t Dan Tuhan menolong mereka. Tuhan membuktikan bahwa Kabar Baik itu benar. Ia membuktikannya dengan memberikan kuasa kepada para pengikut-Nya untuk melakukan mukjizat.
Mark 16
The Resurrection
1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him.2 Very early on the first day of the week, they *came to the tomb when the sun had risen.3 They were saying to one another, "Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?"4 Looking up, they *saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was extremely large.5 Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe; and they were amazed.6 And he *said to them, "Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him.7 But go, tell His disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see Him, just as He told you.'"8 They went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had gripped them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
9 [tNow after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.10 She went and reported to those who had been with Him, while they were mourning and weeping.11 When they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it.
12 After that, He appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking along on their way to the country.13 They went away and reported it to the others, but they did not believe them either.
The Disciples Commissioned
14 Afterward He appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen.15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.17 These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
19 So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.]
[t And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. ]
