Den lamme mannen
(Matt 9,1–8; Luk 5,17–26)
1 t Nokre dagar seinare kom Jesus til Kapernaum att, og det vart kjent at han var heime. 2 Det samla seg så mange at dei ikkje fekk rom, ikkje framfor døra eingong. Og han forkynte Ordet for dei. 3 Då kom dei til han med ein som var lam. Det var fire mann som bar han. 4 t Men sidan dei ikkje kunne koma fram til han for alt folket, braut dei opp taket over den staden der Jesus var, laga ei opning og firte ned båra som den lamme låg på.
5 Då Jesus såg trua deira, sa han til den lamme: «Son, syndene dine er tilgjevne.»
6 No sat det nokre skriftlærde der. Dei tenkte i hjartet: 7 t «Korleis kan han seia noko slikt? Han spottar Gud! Kven andre kan tilgje synder enn éin – det er Gud?» 8 Straks visste Jesus i ånda at dei tenkte slik, og han sa til dei: «Kvifor går de med slike tankar i hjartet? 9 Kva er lettast å seia til den lamme: ‘Syndene dine er tilgjevne’ eller: ‘Stå opp, ta båra di og gå’? 10 t Men for at de skal vita at Menneskesonen har makt på jorda til å tilgje synder» – og no talar han til den lamme – 11 «så seier eg deg: Stå opp, ta båra di og gå heim!»

18 t Farisearane og læresveinane til Johannes heldt faste. Folk kom og spurde Jesus: «Kvifor fastar ikkje dine læresveinar når læresveinane til Johannes og læresveinane til farisearane gjer det?» 19 «Kan vel bryllaupsgjestene fasta medan brudgomen er hos dei?» svara Jesus. «Så lenge dei har brudgomen hos seg, kan dei ikkje fasta.
20 Men det skal koma ei tid då brudgomen blir teken frå dei, og når den dagen kjem, då skal dei fasta.
21 Ingen syr ein lapp av ukrympa tøy på eit gammalt klesplagg. For då riv den nye bota med seg eit stykke av det gamle plagget, og rifta blir verre.
22 t Og ingen fyller ny vin i gamle skinnsekker. For då sprengjer vinen sekkene, vinen renn ut, og sekkene blir øydelagde. Nei, ny vin i nye skinnsekker!»Jesus og sabbaten

Jesus Heals a Man //Who Could Not Walk
(Matthew 9.1-8; Luke 5.17-26)
1 Jesus went back to Capernaum, and a few days later people heard that he was at home.t
2 Then so many of them came to the house that there wasn't even standing room left in front of the door.
Jesus was still teaching 3 when four people came up, carrying a man on a mat because he could not walk.
4 But because of the crowd, they could not get him to Jesus. So they made a hole in the rooft above him and let the man down in front of everyone.
5 When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the man, “My friend, your sins are forgiven.”
6 Some of the teachers of the Law of Moses were sitting there. They started wondering,
7 “Why would he say such a thing? He must think he is God! Only God can forgive sins.”
8 At once, Jesus knew what they were thinking, and he said, “Why are you thinking such things? 9 Is it easier for me to tell this man his sins are forgiven or to tell him to get up and pick up his mat and go on home? 10 I will show you that the Son of Man has the right to forgive sins here on earth.” So Jesus said to the man,
11 “Get up! Pick up your mat and go on home.”
12 The man got right up. He picked up his mat and went out while everyone watched in amazement. They praised God and said, “We have never seen anything like this!”Jesus Chooses Levi

13 Once again, Jesus went to the shore of Lake Galilee. A large crowd gathered around him, and he taught them.
14 As he walked along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus. Levi was sitting at the place for paying taxes, and Jesus said to him, “Follow me!” So he got up and went with Jesus.
15 Later, Jesus and his disciples were having dinner at Levi's house.t Many tax collectorst and other sinners had become followers of Jesus, and they were also guests at the dinner.
16 Some of the teachers of the Law of Moses were Pharisees, and they saw Jesus eating with sinners and tax collectors. So they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

23 t One Sabbath Jesus and his disciples were walking through some wheat fields. His disciples were picking grains of wheat as they went along.t
