중풍병 환자를 고치시다
(마 9:1-8; 눅 5:17-26)
1 며칠이 지나서, 예수께서 다시 가버나움으로 들어가셨다. 예수가 집에 계신다는 말이 퍼지니, 2 많은 사람이 모여들어서, 마침내 문 앞에조차도 들어설 자리가 없었다. 예수께서 그들에게 말씀을 전하셨다. 3 그 때에 한 중풍병 환자를 네 사람이 데리고 왔다. 4 무리 때문에 예수께로 데리고 갈 수 없어서, 예수가 계신 곳 위의 지붕을 걷어내고, 구멍을 뚫어서, 중풍병 환자가 누워 있는 자리를 달아 내렸다. 5 예수께서는 그들의 믿음을 보시고, 중풍병 환자에게 “이 사람아! 네 죄가 용서받았다” 하고 말씀하셨다. 6 율법학자 몇이 거기에 앉아 있다가, 마음 속으로 의아하게 생각하기를 7 ‘이 사람이 어찌하여 이런 말을 한단 말이냐? 하나님을 모독하는구나. 하나님 한 분 밖에, 누가 죄를 용서할 수 있는가?’ 하였다. 8 예수께서, 그들이 속으로 이렇게 생각하는 것을 곧바로 마음으로 알아채시고 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “어찌하여 너희는 마음 속에 그런 생각을 품고 있느냐? 9 중풍병 환자에게 ‘네 죄가 용서받았다’ 하고 말하는 것과 ‘일어나서 네 자리를 걷어서 걸어가거라’ 하고 말하는 것 가운데서, 어느 쪽이 더 말하기가 쉬우냐? 10 그러나 t인자가 땅에서 죄를 용서하는 권세를 가지고 있음을 너희에게 알려주겠다.” -예수께서 중풍병 환자에게 말씀하셨다. 11 “내가 네게 말한다. 일어나서, 네 자리를 걷어서 집으로 가거라.” 12 그러자 중풍병 환자가 일어나, 곧바로 모든 사람이 보는 앞에서 자리를 걷어서 나갔다. 사람들은 모두 크게 놀라서 하나님을 찬양하고 “우리는 이런 일을 전혀 본 적이 없다” 하고 말하였다.

예수께서 다시 바닷가로 나가셨다. 무리가 모두 t예수께로 나아오니, 그가 그들을 가르치셨다. 14 t예수께서 길을 가시다가, 알패오의 아들 레위가 세관에 앉아 있는 것을 보시고 말씀하셨다. “나를 따라오너라.” 레위는 일어나서, 예수를 따라갔다.

요한의 제자들과 바리새파 사람들은 금식하고 있었다. 사람들이 예수께 와서 물었다. “요한의 제자들과 바리새파 사람의 제자들은 금식하는데, 왜 선생님의 제자들은 금식하지 않습니까?” 19 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “혼인 잔치에 온 손님들이, 신랑과 함께 있는 동안에 금식할 수 있느냐? 신랑을 자기들 곁에 두고 있는 동안에는 금식할 수 없다. 20 그러나 신랑을 빼앗길 날이 올 터인데, 그 날에는 그들이 금식할 것이다.”
21 “생베 조각을 낡은 옷에 대고 깁는 사람은 없다. 그렇게 하면 새로 댄 조각이 낡은 데를 당겨서, 더욱더 심하게 찢어진다. 22 또, 새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 담는 사람은 없다. 그렇게 하면 포도주가 가죽 부대를 터뜨려서, 포도주도 가죽 부대도 다 버리게 된다. t새 포도주는 새 가죽 부대에 담아야 한다.”
안식일에 밀 이삭을 자르다
(마 12:1-8; 눅 6:1-5)
23 안식일에 예수께서 밀밭 사이로 지나가시게 되었다. 제자들이 t길을 내면서, 밀 이삭을 자르기 시작하였다. 24 바리새파 사람이 예수께 말하였다. “보십시오, 어찌하여 이 사람들은 안식일에 해서는 안 되는 일을 합니까?” 25 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “다윗과 그 일행이 먹을 것이 없어서 굶주릴 때에, 다윗이 어떻게 하였는지를 너희는 읽지 못하였느냐? 26 아비아달 대제사장 때에, 다윗이 하나님의 집에 들어가서, 제사장들 밖에는 먹어서는 안 되는 제단 빵을 먹고, 그 일행에게도 주지 않았느냐?” 27 그리고 예수께서는 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “안식일이 사람을 위하여 생긴 것이지, 사람이 안식일을 위하여 생긴 것이 아니다. 28 그러므로 인자는 또한 안식일에도 주인이다.”

Jesus Heals a Man //Who Could Not Walk
(Matthew 9.1-8; Luke 5.17-26)
1 Jesus went back to Capernaum, and a few days later people heard that he was at home.t
2 Then so many of them came to the house that there wasn't even standing room left in front of the door.
Jesus was still teaching 3 when four people came up, carrying a man on a mat because he could not walk.
4 But because of the crowd, they could not get him to Jesus. So they made a hole in the rooft above him and let the man down in front of everyone.
5 When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the man, “My friend, your sins are forgiven.”
6 Some of the teachers of the Law of Moses were sitting there. They started wondering,
7 “Why would he say such a thing? He must think he is God! Only God can forgive sins.”
8 At once, Jesus knew what they were thinking, and he said, “Why are you thinking such things? 9 Is it easier for me to tell this man his sins are forgiven or to tell him to get up and pick up his mat and go on home? 10 I will show you that the Son of Man has the right to forgive sins here on earth.” So Jesus said to the man,
11 “Get up! Pick up your mat and go on home.”

13 Once again, Jesus went to the shore of Lake Galilee. A large crowd gathered around him, and he taught them.
14 As he walked along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus. Levi was sitting at the place for paying taxes, and Jesus said to him, “Follow me!” So he got up and went with Jesus.
15 Later, Jesus and his disciples were having dinner at Levi's house.t Many tax collectorst and other sinners had become followers of Jesus, and they were also guests at the dinner.
16 Some of the teachers of the Law of Moses were Pharisees, and they saw Jesus eating with sinners and tax collectors. So they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
