MARCOS 3

El hombre de la mano atrofiada

(Mt 12,9-14; Lc 6,6-11)

1 Jesús entró otra vez en la sinagoga. Había allí un hombre que tenía una mano atrofiada,t 2 y los que estaban buscando un motivo para acusar a Jesús se pusieron al acecho a ver si, a pesar de ser sábado, lo curaba.t

3 Jesús dijo al hombre de la mano atrofiada:
— Ponte ahí en medio.

4 Luego preguntó a los otros:
— ¿Qué es lo que se permite en sábado? ¿Hacer el bien o hacer el mal? ¿Salvar una vida o destruirla?
Ellos callaron.

5 Al verlos tan obcecadost, Jesús les echó una mirada, enojado y entristecido al mismo tiempo, y dijo al enfermo:
— Extiende la mano.
Él la extendió y la mano recuperó el movimiento.

6 Los fariseos, por su parte, y los del partido de Herodest, se reunieron, al salir, para tramar el modo de matar a Jesús.t

La gente acude a Jesús


7 Jesús se fue con sus discípulos a la orilla del lagot y lo siguió una gran multitud de gente procedente de Galilea;t 8 y también de Judea, de Jerusalén, de Idumea*, de la orilla oriental del Jordán y de la región de Tiro y Sidónt acudió a Jesús mucha gente que había oído hablar de todo lo que hacía. 9 Jesús mandó a sus discípulos que le preparasen una barca para que la multitud no lo aplastara. 10 Había curado a tantos, que todos los que tenían alguna enfermedad se echaban ahora sobre él para tocarlo.

11 Y hasta los espíritus impurost, al verlo, se arrojaban a sus pies, gritando:
— ¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios!t

12 Pero Jesús les ordenaba severamente que no lo descubrierant.

Elección de los doce apóstoles

(Mt 10,1-4; Lc 6,12-16)


13 Después de esto, Jesús subió al monte y llamó a los que le pareció bien. Y se acercaron a él.t 14 También designó a doce, a quienes constituyó apóstolest, para que estuvieran con él y para enviarlos a predicart

15 con poder para expulsar demonios.t
16 Los doce designados fueront: Simón, al que puso por sobrenombre Pedro;t 17 Santiago y su hermano Juan, hijos de Zebedeo, a quienes llamó Boanerges, que significa “hijos del truenot”; 18 Andrés, Felipe, Bartolomé, Mateo, Tomás, Santiago, hijo de Alfeo; Tadeo, Simón el cananeo

19 y Judas Iscariotet, el que más tarde lo traicionó.

Los parientes de Jesús


20 Jesús llegó a casat y otra vez se juntó tanta gente, que ni siquiera les dejaban comer.t

21 Cuando algunos de sus parientes se enteraron, vinieron con la intención de llevárselo a la fuerza, porque decían que estaba loco.t

Jesús y Belzebú

(Mt 12,22-30; Lc 11,14-23)


22 Los maestros de la ley llegados de Jerusalén decían que Jesús estaba poseído por Belzebút, el jefe de los demonios, con cuyo poder los expulsaba.t

23 Entonces Jesús los llamó y los interpeló con estas comparaciones:
— ¿Cómo puede Satanást expulsar a Satanás? 24 Si una nación se divide contra sí misma, no puede subsistir. 25 Tampoco una familia que se divida contra sí misma puede subsistir. 26 Y si Satanás se hace la guerra y actúa contra sí mismo, tampoco podrá subsistir; habrá llegado a su fin.

27 Nadie puede entrar en casa de un hombre fuerte y robarle sus bienes si primero no ata a ese hombre fuerte. Solamente entonces podrá saquear su casa.t

El pecado contra el Espíritu Santo

(Mt 12,31-32; Lc 12,10)


28 Les aseguro que todo les será perdonado a los seres humanos: tanto los pecados como las blasfemias en que incurran.t

29 Pero el que blasfeme contra el Espíritu Santo, nunca jamás será perdonado y será tenido para siempre por culpable.t

30 Esto lo dijo Jesús contra quienes afirmaban que estaba poseído por un espíritu impuro.t

La verdadera familia de Jesús

(Mt 12,46-50; Lc 8,19-21)


31 Entre tanto, llegaron la madre y los hermanos de Jesús; pero se quedaron fuera y enviaron a llamarlo.t

32 Alguien de entre la gente que estaba sentada alrededor de Jesús le pasó aviso:
— Tu madre y tus hermanost están ahí fuera y te buscan.

33 Jesús les contestó:
— ¿Quiénes son mi madre y mis hermanos?

34 Y, mirando a quienes estaban sentados a su alrededor, añadió:
— Estos son mi madre y mis hermanos. 35 Porque todo el que hace la voluntad de Dios, ese es mi hermano, y mi hermana, y mi madre.t

Mark 3

Healing a Withered Hand

1 Thent Jesust entered the synagogues again, and a man was there who had a withereds hand.2 They watcheds Jesust closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath,s so that they could accuse him.3 So he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up among all these people.”ts4 Thent he said to them, “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath, or evil, to save a life or destroy it?” But they were silent.5 After looking aroundt at them in anger, grieved by the hardness of their hearts,t he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.s

6 Sot the Phariseess went out immediately and began plotting with the Herodians,ts as to how they could assassinatet him.

Crowds by the Sea

7 Thent Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed him.t And from Judea,8 Jerusalem,s Idumea, beyond the Jordan River,t and around Tyres and Sidonss a great multitude came to him when they heard about the things he had done.9 Because of the crowd, he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him so the crowdt would not press toward him.10 For he had healed many, so that all who were afflicted with diseases pressed toward him in order to touch him.11 And whenever the unclean spiritss saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.”

12 Butt he sternly ordered them not to make him known.s

Appointing the Twelve Apostles

13 Nowt Jesus went up the mountaints and called for those he wanted, and they came to him.14 Het appointed twelve (whom he named apostless),s so that they would be with him and he could send them to preach15 and to have authority to cast out demons.16 He appointed twelve:s To Simons he gave the name Peter;17 to James and his brother John, the sons of Zebedee,t he gave the name Boanerges (that is, “sons of thunder”);18 and Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew,s Matthew, Thomas,s James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus,s Simon the Zealot,t

19 and Judas Iscariot,s who betrayed him.t

Jesus and Beelzebul

20 Nowt Jesust went home, and a crowd gathered so that they were not able to eat.21 When his familysts heard this they went out to restrain him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”22 The experts in the lawt who came down from Jerusalems said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,”ts and, “By the rulert of demons he casts out demons.”23 Sot he called them and spoke to them in parables:s “How can Satan cast out Satan?24 Ifs a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom will not be able to stand.25 If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.26 And if Satan rises against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand and his end has come.27 But no one is able to enter a strong man’ss house and steal his property unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can thoroughly plunder his house.s28 I tell you the truth,t people will be forgiven for all sins, even all the blasphemies they utter.t29 But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin”s

30 (because they said, “He has an unclean spirit”s).

Jesus’ True Family

31 Thent Jesus’t mother and his brotherss came. Standingt outside, they sent word to him, to summon him.32 A crowd was sitting around him and they said to him, “Look, your mother and your brotherss are outside looking for you.”33 He answered them and said, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”t34 And looking at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said, “Heret are my mother and my brothers!

35 For whoever does the will of God ist my brother and sister and mother.”
