L’homme à la main paralysée
Mt 12.9-14 ; Lc 6.6-11
1 tIl retourna à la synagogue. Il se trouvait là un homme qui avait la main paralysée. 2 tIls observaient Jésus pour voir s’il le guérirait un jour de sabbat, afin de l’accuser. 3 tAlors il dit à l’homme qui avait la main paralysée : Lève-toi, là, au milieu. 4 tPuis il leur dit : Qu’est-ce qui est permis, un jour de sabbat ? Est-ce de faire du bien ou de faire du mal, de sauver ou de tuer ? Mais ils gardaient le silence.
5 tAlors, promenant ses regards sur eux avec colère, navré de les voir si obtus, il dit à l’homme : Tends ta main. Il la tendit, et sa main fut rétablie.
6 tA peine sortis, les pharisiens tenaient conseil avec les hérodiens contre lui, sur les moyens de le faire disparaître.Les foules viennent à Jésus

7 tJésus se retira vers la mer avec ses disciples. Une grande multitude le suivit, venue de Galilée, de Judée,
8 tde Jérusalem, d’Idumée, de Transjordanie et des environs de Tyr et de Sidon. Une grande multitude, apprenant tout ce qu’il faisait, vint à lui.
9 tIl dit à ses disciples de tenir à sa disposition une barque, pour que la foule ne le presse pas. 10 tEn effet, comme il guérissait beaucoup de gens, tous ceux qui avaient des maladies se jetaient sur lui pour le toucher. 11 tLes esprits impurs, quand ils le voyaient, tombaient devant lui et s’écriaient : Toi, tu es le Fils de Dieu !
12 tMais il les rabrouait avec sévérité pour qu’ils ne parlent pas de lui.Jésus choisit les Douze

13 tIl monte ensuite sur la montagne ; il appelle ceux qu’il voulait, et ils vinrent à lui.
14 tIl en choisit douze, à qui il donna aussi le nom d’apôtres, pour qu’ils soient avec lui et pour les envoyer proclamer,
15 tavec l’autorité pour chasser les démons.
16 tIl choisit les Douze : Simon, à qui il attribua le nom de Pierre, 17 tJacques, fils de Zébédée, et Jean, frère de Jacques, auxquels il attribua le nom de Boanergès, qui signifie « Fils du tonnerre » ; 18 tAndré, Philippe, Barthélemy, Matthieu, Thomas, Jacques, fils d’Alphée, Thaddée, Simon le Cananite
19 tet Judas Iscarioth, celui qui le livra.Jésus a-t-il partie liée avec les démons ?
20 tPuis il revient à la maison, et la foule se rassemble encore : ils ne pouvaient pas même manger.
21 tA cette nouvelle, les gens de sa parenté sortirent pour se saisir de lui, car ils disaient : Il a perdu la raison.Mt 12.24-29 ; Lc 11.15-22
22 tLes scribes qui étaient descendus de Jérusalem disaient : Il a Béelzéboul ; c’est par le prince des démons qu’il chasse les démons !
23 tIl les appela et se mit à leur dire, en paraboles : Comment Satan peut-il chasser Satan ? 24 Si un royaume est divisé contre lui-même, ce royaume ne peut tenir ; 25 et si une maison est divisée contre elle-même, cette maison ne peut tenir. 26 Si donc le Satan se dresse contre lui-même, il est divisé et il ne peut tenir : c’en est fini de lui.
27 tPersonne ne peut entrer dans la maison d’un homme fort et piller ses biens sans avoir d’abord lié cet homme fort ; alors seulement il pillera sa maison.Mt 12.31-33 ; Lc 12.10
28 t Amen, je vous le dis, tout sera pardonné aux fils des hommes, péchés et blasphèmes autant qu’ils en auront proférés ; 29 tmais quiconque blasphème contre l’Esprit saint n’obtiendra jamais de pardon : il est coupable d’un péché éternel.
30 tC’est qu’ils disaient : Il a un esprit impur.La vraie parenté de Jésus

31 tSa mère et ses frères arrivent ; se tenant dehors, ils le firent appeler. 32 tLa foule était assise autour de lui et on lui dit : Ta mère, tes frères et tes sœurs sont dehors, et ils te cherchent. 33 Il répond : Ma mère et mes frères, qui est-ce ? 34 tPuis, promenant ses regards sur ceux qui étaient assis tout autour de lui, il dit : Voici ma mère et mes frères ! 35 tEn effet, quiconque fait la volonté de Dieu, celui-là est mon frère, ma sœur et ma mère.

1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there who had his hand withered.2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.3 And he saith unto the man that had his hand withered, Stand forth.4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful on the sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to kill? But they held their peace.5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.6 And the Pharisees went out, and straightway with the Herodians took counsel against him, how they might destroy him.7 And Jesus with his disciples withdrew to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed; and from Judaea,8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came unto him.9 And he spake to his disciples, that a little boat should wait on him because of the crowd, lest they should throng him:10 for he had healed many; insomuch that as many as had plagues pressed upon him that they might touch him.11 And the unclean spirits, whensoever they beheld him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.12 And he charged them much that they should not make him known.13 And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth unto him whom he himself would; and they went unto him.14 And he appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,15 and to have authority to cast out demons:16 and Simon he surnamed Peter;17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and them he surnamed Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder:18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Cananaean,19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. And he cometh into a house.20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.21 And when his friends heard it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.22 And the scribes that came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and, By the prince of the demons casteth he out the demons.23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.26 And if Satan hath risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.27 But no one can enter into the house of the strong man, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.28 Verily I say unto you, All their sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and their blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:29 but whosoever shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin:30 because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.31 And there come his mother and his brethren; and, standing without, they sent unto him, calling him.32 And a multitude was sitting about him; and they say unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.33 And he answereth them, and saith, Who is my mother and my brethren?34 And looking round on them that sat round about him, he saith, Behold, my mother and my brethren!35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
