مرقس 3
1 کسی اَور وقت جب عیسیٰ عبادت خانے میں گیا تو وہاں ایک آدمی تھا جس کا ہاتھ سوکھا ہوا تھا۔2 سبت کا دن تھا اور لوگ بڑے غور سے دیکھ رہے تھے کہ کیا عیسیٰ اِس آدمی کو آج بھی شفا دے گا۔ کیونکہ وہ اُس پر الزام لگانے کا کوئی بہانہ تلاش کر رہے تھے۔3 عیسیٰ نے سوکھے ہاتھ والے آدمی سے کہا، ”اُٹھ، درمیان میں کھڑا ہو۔“4 پھر عیسیٰ نے اُن سے پوچھا، ”مجھے بتاؤ، شریعت ہمیں سبت کے دن کیا کرنے کی اجازت دیتی ہے، نیک کام کرنے کی یا غلط کام کرنے کی، کسی کی جان بچانے کی یا اُسے تباہ کرنے کی؟“ سب خاموش رہے۔5 وہ غصے سے اپنے ارد گرد کے لوگوں کی طرف دیکھنے لگا۔ اُن کی سخت دلی اُس کے لئے بڑے دُکھ کا باعث بن رہی تھی۔ پھر اُس نے آدمی سے کہا، ”اپنا ہاتھ آگے بڑھا۔“ اُس نے ایسا کیا تو اُس کا ہاتھ بحال ہو گیا۔6 اِس پر فریسی باہر نکل کرسیدھے ہیرودیس کی پارٹی کے افراد کے ساتھ مل کر عیسیٰ کو قتل کرنے کی سازشیں کرنے لگے۔7 لیکن عیسیٰ وہاں سے ہٹ کر اپنے شاگردوں کے ساتھ جھیل کے پاس گیا۔ ایک بڑا ہجوم اُس کے پیچھے ہو لیا۔ لوگ نہ صرف گلیل کے علاقے سے آئے بلکہ بہت سی اَور جگہوں یعنی یہودیہ،8 یروشلم، ادومیہ، دریائے یردن کے پار اور صور اور صیدا کے علاقے سے بھی۔ وجہ یہ تھی کہ عیسیٰ کے کام کی خبر اُن علاقوں تک بھی پہنچ چکی تھی اور نتیجے میں بہت سے لوگ وہاں سے بھی آئے۔9 عیسیٰ نے شاگردوں سے کہا، ”احتیاطاً ایک کشتی اُس وقت کے لئے تیار کر رکھو جب ہجوم مجھے حد سے زیادہ دبانے لگے گا۔“10 کیونکہ اُس دن اُس نے بہتوں کو شفا دی تھی، اِس لئے جسے بھی کوئی تکلیف تھی وہ دھکے دے دے کر اُس کے پاس آیا تاکہ اُسے چھو سکے۔11 اور جب بھی ناپاک روحوں نے عیسیٰ کو دیکھا تو وہ اُس کے سامنے گر کر چیخیں مارنے لگیں، ”آپ اللہ کے فرزند ہیں۔“12 لیکن عیسیٰ نے اُنہیں سختی سے ڈانٹ کر کہا کہ وہ اُسے ظاہر نہ کریں۔13 اِس کے بعد عیسیٰ نے پہاڑ پر چڑھ کر جنہیں وہ چاہتا تھا اُنہیں اپنے پاس بُلا لیا۔ اور وہ اُس کے پاس آئے۔14 اُس نے اُن میں سے بارہ کو چن لیا۔ اُنہیں اُس نے اپنے رسول مقرر کر لیا تاکہ وہ اُس کے ساتھ چلیں اور وہ اُنہیں منادی کرنے کے لئے بھیج سکے۔15 اُس نے اُنہیں بدروحیں نکالنے کا اختیار بھی دیا۔16 جن بارہ کو اُس نے مقرر کیا اُن کے نام یہ ہیں: شمعون جس کا لقب اُس نے پطرس رکھا،17 زبدی کے بیٹے یعقوب اور یوحنا جن کا لقب عیسیٰ نے ’بادل کی گرج کے بیٹے‘ رکھا،18 اندریاس، فلپّس، برتلمائی، متی، توما، یعقوب بن حلفئی، تدّی، شمعون مجاہد19 اور یہوداہ اسکریوتی جس نے بعد میں اُسے دشمن کے حوالے کر دیا۔20 پھر عیسیٰ کسی گھر میں داخل ہوا۔ اِس بار بھی اِتنا ہجوم جمع ہو گیا کہ عیسیٰ کو اپنے شاگردوں سمیت کھانا کھانے کا موقع بھی نہ ملا۔21 جب اُس کے خاندان کے افراد نے یہ سنا تو وہ اُسے پکڑ کر لے جانے کے لئے آئے، کیونکہ اُنہوں نے کہا، ”وہ ہوش میں نہیں ہے۔“22 لیکن شریعت کے جو عالم یروشلم سے آئے تھے اُنہوں نے کہا، ”یہ بدروحوں کے سردار بعل زبول کے قبضے میں ہے۔ اُسی کی مدد سے بدروحوں کو نکال رہا ہے۔“23 پھر عیسیٰ نے اُنہیں اپنے پاس بُلا کر تمثیلوں میں جواب دیا۔ ”ابلیس کس طرح ابلیس کو نکال سکتا ہے؟24 جس بادشاہی میں پھوٹ پڑ جائے وہ قائم نہیں رہ سکتی۔25 اور جس گھرانے کی ایسی حالت ہو وہ بھی قائم نہیں رہ سکتا۔26 اِسی طرح اگر ابلیس اپنے آپ کی مخالفت کرے اور یوں اُس میں پھوٹ پڑ جائے تو وہ قائم نہیں رہ سکتا بلکہ ختم ہو چکا ہے۔27 کسی زورآور آدمی کے گھر میں گھس کر اُس کا مال و اسباب لُوٹنا اُس وقت تک ممکن نہیں ہے جب تک اُس آدمی کو باندھا نہ جائے۔ پھر ہی اُسے لُوٹا جا سکتا ہے۔28 مَیں تم سے سچ کہتا ہوں کہ لوگوں کے تمام گناہ اور کفر کی باتیں معاف کی جا سکیں گی، خواہ وہ کتنا ہی کفر کیوں نہ بکیں۔29 لیکن جو روح القدس کے خلاف کفر بکے اُسے ابد تک معافی نہیں ملے گی۔ وہ ایک ابدی گناہ کا قصوروار ٹھہرے گا۔“30 عیسیٰ نے یہ اِس لئے کہا کیونکہ عالم کہہ رہے تھے کہ وہ کسی بدروح کی گرفت میں ہے۔31 پھر عیسیٰ کی ماں اور بھائی پہنچ گئے۔ باہر کھڑے ہو کر اُنہوں نے کسی کو اُسے بُلانے کو بھیج دیا۔32 اُس کے ارد گرد ہجوم بیٹھا تھا۔ اُنہوں نے کہا، ”آپ کی ماں اور بھائی باہر آپ کو بُلا رہے ہیں۔“33 عیسیٰ نے پوچھا، ”کون میری ماں اور کون میرے بھائی ہیں؟“34 اور اپنے گرد بیٹھے لوگوں پر نظر ڈال کر اُس نے کہا، ”دیکھو، یہ میری ماں اور میرے بھائی ہیں۔35 جو بھی اللہ کی مرضی پوری کرتا ہے وہ میرا بھائی، میری بہن اور میری ماں ہے۔“

1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there who had his hand withered.2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.3 And he saith unto the man that had his hand withered, Stand forth.4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful on the sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to kill? But they held their peace.5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.6 And the Pharisees went out, and straightway with the Herodians took counsel against him, how they might destroy him.7 And Jesus with his disciples withdrew to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed; and from Judaea,8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came unto him.9 And he spake to his disciples, that a little boat should wait on him because of the crowd, lest they should throng him:10 for he had healed many; insomuch that as many as had plagues pressed upon him that they might touch him.11 And the unclean spirits, whensoever they beheld him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.12 And he charged them much that they should not make him known.13 And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth unto him whom he himself would; and they went unto him.14 And he appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,15 and to have authority to cast out demons:16 and Simon he surnamed Peter;17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and them he surnamed Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder:18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Cananaean,19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. And he cometh into a house.20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.21 And when his friends heard it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.22 And the scribes that came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and, By the prince of the demons casteth he out the demons.23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.26 And if Satan hath risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.27 But no one can enter into the house of the strong man, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.28 Verily I say unto you, All their sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and their blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:29 but whosoever shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin:30 because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.31 And there come his mother and his brethren; and, standing without, they sent unto him, calling him.32 And a multitude was sitting about him; and they say unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.33 And he answereth them, and saith, Who is my mother and my brethren?34 And looking round on them that sat round about him, he saith, Behold, my mother and my brethren!35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
