9 เวลา_เดิน_ทาง ไม่_ต้อง_เอา_เงิน_ทอง_ติด_ตัว_ไป ไม่_ต้อง_เอา_กระเป๋า หรือ_เสื้อผ้า_สำรอง หรือ_รองเท้า_สาน หรือ_ไม้เท้า_ไป_ด้วย

10 เพราะ_คน_ทำ_งาน_ก็_สมควร_จะ_ได้_รับ_การ_เลี้ยงดู_ใน_สิ่ง_ที่_เขา_จำเป็น

11 เมื่อ_พวก_คุณ_เข้า_ไป_บ้าน_ไหน_เมือง_ไหน_ก็_ตาม ให้_หา_คน_ที่_เต็ม_ใจ_ต้อน_รับ_คุณ และ_พัก_อยู่_ที่_บ้าน_ของ_คน_นั้น_ตลอด_จน_กว่า_จะ_จาก_เมือง_นั้น_ไป

12 เมื่อ_คุณ_เข้า_ไป_ใน_บ้าน ก็_ขอ_พระเจ้า_อวย_พร_ให้_เขา_อยู่_เย็น_เป็น_สุข

13 ถ้า_คน_ใน_บ้าน_นั้น_ยินดี_ต้อนรับ_คุณ พร_นั้น_ก็_จะ_ตก_อยู่_กับ_บ้าน_นั้น แต่_ถ้า_เขา_ไม่_ต้อนรับ_คุณ พร_นั้น_ก็_จะ_กลับ_คืน_มา_หา_คุณ

14 และ_ถ้า_บ้าน_ไหน_เมือง_ไหน_ไม่_ต้อนรับ_คุณ และ_ไม่_ฟัง_สิ่ง_ที่_คุณ_พูด ก็_ออก_จาก_ที่_นั่น_เสีย และ_สะบัด_ฝุ่น_จาก_เท้าt_ออก_เสีย_ด้วย

15 เรา_ขอ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า ใน_วัน_พิพากษา ชาว_เมือง_นั้น_จะ_ได้_รับ_โทษ_หนัก_กว่า_ชาว_เมือง_โสโดม_และ_เมือง_โกโมราห์t เสีย_อีก

พระ_เยซู_เตือน_ว่า_จะ_เกิด_//เรื่อง_เดือด_ร้อน_ขึ้น

18 พวก_คุณ_จะ_ถูก_นำ_ตัว_ไป_ยืน_ต่อ_หน้า_เจ้าเมือง_และ_กษัตริย์ เพราะ_พวก_คุณ_เป็น_ศิษย์_ของ_เรา พวก_คุณ_จะ_ต้อง_เป็น_พยาน_เล่า_เรื่อง_ของ_เรา_ให้_กษัตริย์ เจ้าเมือง และ_คน_ที่_ไม่_ใช่_ชาว_ยิว_ฟัง

19 เมื่อ_โดน_จับ ไม่_ต้อง_เป็น_ห่วง_ว่า_จะ_พูด_อะไร หรือ_จะ_พูด_อย่าง_ไร เพราะ_เมื่อ_ถึง_เวลา พระเจ้า_จะ_บอก_เอง ว่า_จะ_ให้_พวก_คุณ_พูด_อะไร

20 จริงๆ_แล้ว คน_ที่_พูด_จะ_ไม่_ใช่_ตัว_พวก_คุณ แต่_เป็น_พระ_วิญญาณ_ของ_พระบิดา_พูด_ผ่าน_ทาง_พวก_คุณ

21 พี่_น้อง_จะ_หักหลัง_กัน_เอง_ให้_ไป_ถูก_ฆ่า พ่อ_จะ_หักหลัง_ลูก_ให้_ไป_ถูก_ฆ่า ลูกๆ_จะ_ต่อ_ต้าน_พ่อ_แม่ และ_ส่ง_พ่อ_แม่_ไป_ให้_ถูก_ฆ่า

22 ทุก_คน_จะ_เกลียด_พวก_คุณ เพราะ_พวก_คุณ_เป็น_ศิษย์_ของ_เรา แต่_ใคร_ที่_ทน_ได้_จน_ถึง_ที่_สุด_ก็_จะ_ได้_รับ_ความ_รอด

23 เมื่อ_เขา_ข่มเหง_คุณ_ใน_เมือง_หนึ่ง ก็_ให้_หนี_ไป_เมือง_อื่น เรา_ขอ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า บุตร_มนุษย์ จะ_มา_ถึง ก่อน_ที่_พวก_คุณ_จะ_เดิน_ทาง_ไป_ทั่ว_ทุก_เมือง_ของ_อิสราเอล_เสีย_อีก

25 ศิษย์_น่า_จะ_พอใจ_แล้ว ที่_เป็น_ได้_เหมือน_ครู และ_ทาส_ก็_น่า_จะ_พอใจ_แล้ว ที่_เป็น_ได้_เหมือน_เจ้า_นาย ถ้า_ขนาด_เจ้า_ของ_บ้าน_ยัง_ถูก_เรียก_ว่า_ซาตานt แล้ว_ลูกบ้าน_จะ_ไม่_ถูก_เรียก_ด้วย_ชื่อ_ที่_เลว_ร้าย_กว่า_นั้น_อีก_หรือ

28 อย่า_กลัว_คน_พวก_นี้ ที่_ฆ่า_ได้_แต่_ร่าง_กาย แต่_ไม่_สามารถ_ฆ่า_วิญญาณ_ของ_คุณ_ได้ แต่_ให้_เกรง_กลัว_พระองค์_ผู้_ที่_สามารถ_ทำลาย_ได้_ทั้ง_ร่าง_กาย_และ_วิญญาณ_ของ_คุณ_ใน_นรก

29 แม้_แต่_นก_กระจอก_ตัว_เล็กๆ_สอง_ตัว_ที่_มี_ค่า_แค่_บาท_เดียว_จะ_ตกลง_มา_บน_พื้น_ไม่_ได้_เลย ถ้า_พระบิดา_ของ_คุณ_ไม่_ยอม

30 แม้_แต่_เส้นผม_ทุก_เส้น_บน_หัว_คุณ พระองค์_ก็_นับ_ไว้_หมด_แล้ว

31 อย่า_กลัว_เลย เพราะ_พวก_คุณ_มี_ค่า_มาก_กว่า_นก_กระจอก_ทั้ง_ฝูง_มาก_นัก

บอก_คน_ถึง_ความ_เชื่อ_ของ_คุณ

32 ถ้า_ใคร_ยอม_รับ_เรา_ต่อ_หน้า_คน_ใน_โลก_นี้ เรา_ก็_จะ_ยอมรับ_เขา_ต่อ_หน้า_พระบิดา_ของ_เรา_บน_สวรรค์_ด้วย

33 แต่_ถ้า_ใคร_ไม่_ยอมรับ_เรา_ต่อ_หน้า_คน_ใน_โลก_นี้ เรา_ก็_จะ_ไม่_ยอม_รับ_เขา_ต่อหน้า_พระบิดา_ของ_เรา_บน_สวรรค์_เหมือน_กัน

34 อย่า_คิด_ว่า_เรา_มา_เพื่อ_นำ_ความ_สงบ_สุข_มา_ให้_กับ_โลก_นี้ เรา_ไม่_ได้_นำ_ความ_สงบ_สุข_มา แต่_เรา_นำ_ดาบ_มา_ให้

39 คน_ที่_พยายาม_เอา_ตัว_รอด ก็_จะ_เสีย_ชีวิต_นั้น_ไป แต่_คน_ที่_ยอม_สละ_ชีวิต_ของ_ตัว_เอง_เพื่อ_เรา ก็_จะ_รอด

40 คน_ที่_ยอม_รับ_คุณ ก็_ยอม_รับ_เรา_ด้วย และ_คน_ที่_ยอมรับ_เรา ก็_ได้_ยอมรับ_ผู้ที่_ส่ง_เรา_มา_ด้วย

41 คน_ที่_ยอมรับ_ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า เพราะ_เขา_เป็น_ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า ก็_จะ_ได้_รับ_รางวัล_แบบ_เดียว_กับ_ที่_ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_นั้น_ได้_รับ และ_คน_ที่_ยอม_รับ_คน_ที่_เชื่อ_ฟัง_พระเจ้า_เพราะ_เขา_เชื่อ_ฟัง_พระเจ้า ก็_จะ_ได้_รับ_รางวัล_แบบ_เดียว_กับ_คน_ที่_เชื่อ_ฟัง_พระเจ้า_นั้น_ได้_รับ

42 แม้_แต่_คน_ที่_ให้_แค่_น้ำ_เย็น_แก้ว_เดียว_กับ_ศิษย์_ที่_ต่ำต้อย_ที่สุด_คน_หนึ่ง_ของ_เรา เรา_ขอ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า คนๆ_นั้น_จะ_ได้_รับ_รางวัล_ตอบแทน_อย่าง_แน่_นอน”

Matthew 10

The Twelve Disciples; Instructions for Service

1 Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;4 Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Him.

5 These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: "Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans;6 but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.7 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.9 Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts,10 or a bag for your journey, or even two coats, or sandals, or a staff; for the worker is worthy of his support.11 And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay at his house until you leave that city.12 As you enter the house, give it your greeting.13 If the house is worthy, give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace.14 Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.15 Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

A Hard Road before Them

16 "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.17 But beware of men, for they will hand you over to the courts and scourge you in their synagogues;18 and you will even be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.19 But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say.20 For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

21 "Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.22 You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

23 "But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.

The Meaning of Discipleship

24 "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.25 It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign the members of his household!

26 "Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.27 What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.28 Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.29 Are not two sparrows sold for a tcent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.

32 "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.

34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.35 For I came to SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW;36 and A MAN'S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.

37 "He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.39 He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.

The Reward of Service

40 "He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.42 And whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward."
