L’entrée de Jésus à Jérusalem
Mc 11.1-10 ; Lc 19.28-40 ; Jn 12.12-16
1 tLorsqu’ils approchèrent de Jérusalem et qu’ils furent arrivés à Bethphagé, vers le mont des Oliviers, Jésus envoya deux disciples 2 ten leur disant : Allez au village qui est devant vous ; vous trouverez aussitôt une ânesse attachée, et un ânon avec elle ; détachez-les, et amenez-les-moi. 3 tSi quelqu’un vous dit quelque chose, vous répondrez : « Le Seigneur en a besoin. » Et il les laissera aller tout de suite.
4 tCela arriva afin que s’accomplisse ce qui avait été dit par l’entremise du prophète :
5 t Dites à la fille de Sion :
Ton roi vient à toi,
plein de douceur, monté sur une ânesse,
sur un ânon, le petit d’une bête de somme.
6 Les disciples allèrent faire ce que Jésus leur avait ordonné. 7 tIls amenèrent l’ânesse et l’ânon, sur lesquels ils mirent leurs vêtements ; il s’assit dessus. 8 tLa plupart des gens de la foule étendirent leurs vêtements sur le chemin ; d’autres coupèrent des branches aux arbres et les étendirent sur le chemin.
9 tLes foules le précédaient et le suivaient en criant :
Hosanna pour le Fils de David !
Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur !
Hosanna dans les lieux très hauts !
10 tLorsqu’il entra dans Jérusalem, toute la ville fut en émoi. On disait : Qui est-il, celui-ci ?
11 tLes foules répondaient : C’est le prophète Jésus, de Nazareth de Galilée.Jésus chasse les vendeurs du temple

12 tJésus entra dans le temple. Il chassa tous ceux qui vendaient et qui achetaient dans le temple, il renversa les tables des changeurs et les sièges des vendeurs de colombes.
13 tEt il leur dit : Il est écrit :
Ma maison sera appelée maison de prière.
Mais vous, vous en faitesune caverne de bandits.
14 tDes aveugles et des infirmes s’approchèrent de lui dans le temple. Il les guérit. 15 tMais les grands prêtres et les scribes s’indignèrent à la vue des choses étonnantes qu’il avait faites et des enfants qui criaient dans le temple : «Hosanna pour le Fils de David ! »
16 tIls lui dirent : Tu entends ce qu’ils disent ? Jésus leur répondit : Oui. N’avez-vous jamais lu ces paroles :
Par la bouche des tout-petits et des nourrissons tu t’es formé une louange !
17 tIl les laissa et sortit de la ville pour aller à Béthanie, où il passa la nuit.Le figuier sans figues
Mc 11.12-14,20-25
18 tLe matin, en retournant à la ville, il eut faim.
19 tIl vit un figuier sur le chemin et s’en approcha ; mais il n’y trouva que des feuilles ; il lui dit : Que plus jamais un fruit ne vienne de toi ! Et à l’instant même le figuier se dessécha.
20 tEn voyant cela, les disciples s’étonnèrent : Comment ce figuier a-t-il pu se dessécher à l’instant même ? 21 tJésus leur dit :Amen, je vous le dis, si vous avez de la foi et si vous n’hésitez pas, non seulement vous ferez ce qui a été fait à ce figuier, mais quand vous direz à cette montagne : « Ote-toi de là et jette-toi dans la mer », cela se fera.
22 tTout ce que vous demanderez avec foi par la prière, vous le recevrez.L’autorité de Jésus en question

23 tIl se rendit au temple ; pendant qu’il enseignait, les grands prêtres et les anciens du peuple vinrent lui demander : De quelle autorité fais-tu cela ? Qui t’a donné cette autorité ? 24 tJésus leur répondit : Moi aussi, je vais vous poser une question, une seule ; si vous me répondez, je vous dirai de quelle autorité je fais cela. 25 tLe baptême de Jean, d’où venait-il ? Du ciel, ou des humains ? Eux raisonnaient, se disant : Si nous répondons : « Du ciel », il nous dira : « Alors pourquoi ne l’avez-vous pas cru ? » 26 tEt si nous répondons : « Des humains », nous pouvons craindre la foule, car tous tiennent Jean pour un prophète.
27 Ils répondirent donc à Jésus : Nous ne savons pas. Il leur dit à son tour : Moi non plus, je ne vous dis pas de quelle autorité je fais cela.La parabole des deux fils
28 tQu’en pensez-vous ? Un homme avait deux fils ; il s’adressa au premier et dit : Mon enfant, va travailler dans la vigne aujourd’hui. 29 tCelui-ci répondit : « Je ne veux pas. » Plus tard, il fut pris de remords, et il y alla. 30 tL’homme s’adressa alors au second et lui dit la même chose. Celui-ci répondit : « Bien sûr, maître. » Mais il n’y alla pas. 31 tLequel des deux a fait la volonté du père ? Ils répondirent : Le premier. Jésus leur dit :Amen, je vous le dis, les collecteurs des taxes et les prostituées vous devancent dans le royaume de Dieu.
32 tCar Jean est venu à vous par la voie de la justice, et vous ne l’avez pas cru. Ce sont les collecteurs des taxes et les prostituées qui l’ont cru, et vous qui avez vu cela, vous n’avez pas eu de remords par la suite : vous ne l’avez pas cru davantage.La parabole des mauvais vignerons

33 tEcoutez une autre parabole. Il y avait un maître de maison qui planta une vigne. Il l’entoura d’une haie, y creusa un pressoir et y construisit une tour, puis il la loua à des vignerons et partit en voyage. 34 tA l’approche des vendanges, il envoya ses esclaves chez les vignerons, pour recevoir les fruits de la vigne. 35 tLes vignerons prirent ses esclaves ; l’un, ils le battirent ; un autre, ils le tuèrent ; un autre encore, ils le lapidèrent. 36 tIl envoya encore d’autres esclaves, en plus grand nombre que les premiers ; les vignerons les traitèrent de la même manière. 37 tEnfin il leur envoya son fils, en disant : « Ils respecteront mon fils ! » 38 tMais quand les vignerons virent le fils, ils se dirent : « C’est l’héritier ! Venez, tuons-le, et nous aurons son héritage. » 39 tIls le prirent, le chassèrent hors de la vigne et le tuèrent. 40 tLorsque le maître de la vigne viendra, comment traitera-t-il donc ces vignerons ?
41 tIls lui répondirent : Ces misérables, il les fera disparaître misérablement, et il louera la vigne à d’autres vignerons qui lui donneront les fruits en leur temps.
42 tJésus leur dit : N’avez-vous jamais lu dans les Ecritures :
C’est la pierre que les constructeurs ont rejetée
qui est devenue la principale, celle de l’angle ;
cela est venu du Seigneur,
c’est une chose étonnante à nos yeux.
43 tC’est pourquoi, je vous le dis, le règne de Dieu vous sera enlevé et sera donné à une nation qui en produira les fruits.
44 tQuiconque tombera sur cette pierre s’y brisera, et celui sur qui elle tombera, elle l’écrasera.
45 tAprès avoir entendu ses paraboles, les grands prêtres et les pharisiens comprirent que c’était d’eux qu’il parlait ; 46 tils cherchaient à le faire arrêter, mais ils eurent peur des foules, parce qu’elles le tenaient pour un prophète.
Matthew 21
1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and came unto Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,2 saying unto them, Go into the village that is over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.3 And if any one say aught unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.4 Now this is come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
5 Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, Meek, and riding upon an ass, And upon a colt the foal of an ass.
6 And the disciples went, and did even as Jesus appointed them,7 and brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their garments; and he sat thereon.8 And the most part of the multitude spread their garments in the way; and others cut branches from the trees, and spread them in the way.9 And the multitudes that went before him, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, Who is this?11 And the multitudes said, This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves;13 and he saith unto them, It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer: but ye make it a den of robbers.14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children that were crying in the temple and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were moved with indignation,16 and said unto him, Hearest thou what these are saying? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea: did ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou has perfected praise?17 And he left them, and went forth out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.
18 Now in the morning as he returned to the city, he hungered.19 And seeing a fig tree by the way side, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only; and he saith unto it, Let there be no fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away.20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How did the fig tree immediately wither away?21 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do what is done to the fig tree, but even if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea, it shall be done.22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one question, which if ye tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven or from men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why then did ye not believe him?26 But if we shall say, From men; we fear the multitude; for all hold John as a prophet.27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We know not. He also said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.28 But what think ye? A man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to-day in the vineyard.29 And he answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented himself, and went.30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.31 Which of the two did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not; but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye saw it, did not even repent yourselves afterward, that ye might believe him.
33 Hear another parable: There was a man that was a householder, who planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country.34 And when the season of the fruits drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, to receive his fruits.35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them in like manner.37 But afterward he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.38 But the husbandmen, when they saw the son, said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and take his inheritance.39 And they took him, and cast him forth out of the vineyard, and killed him.40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard shall come, what will he do unto those husbandmen?41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will let out the vineyard unto other husbandmen, who shall render him the fruits in their seasons.42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; This was from the Lord, And it is marvelous in our eyes?
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.44 And he that falleth on this stone shall be broken to pieces: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust.45 And when the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.46 And when they sought to lay hold on him, they feared the multitudes, because they took him for a prophet.
