Xifaniso xa nkhuvo wa vukati
Lk. 14:15-24
1 Yesu a engeta a vulavula na vona hi swifaniso, a ku: 2 “Mfumo wa matilo wu fana ni hosi leyi endlelaka n'wana wa yona enkhuvo wa vukati. 3 Yi rhuma malandza ya yona ku ya vitana lava nga rhambiwa enkhubyeni, kambe vona va ala ku ta. 4 Yi engeta yi rhuma malandza man'wana, yi ku: ‘Tivisani lava rhambiweke, mi ku: Maswivo, ndzi lunghisile swakudya swa mina; tihavi ta mina ni swifuwo swo nona swa mina swi tlhaviwile; swilo hinkwaswo swi lunghisiwile, tanani enkhubyeni.’ 5 Kambe varhambiwa a va swi endlanga mhaka; va tifambela, un'wana ensin'wini ya yena, un'wana eku xaviseni ka swilo swa yena; 6 van'wana va khoma malandza ya hosi, va ma endla hi tihanyi, va ma dlaya. 7 Kwalaho hosi yi kariha, yi rhuma mavuthu ya yona ku ya lovisa vadlayi valavo ni ku hisa muti wa vona. 8 Kutani yi lerisa malandza ya yona, yi ku: ‘Nkhuvo wa vukati wu lunghisiwile, kambe lava rhambiweke a wu nga va fanelanga. 9 Sweswi yanani emahandzeni ya tindlela, mi ya vitana hinkwavo lava mi nga ta va kuma, va ta enkhubyeni.’
10 Kutani malandza walawo ma huma, ma ya etindleleni, ma hlengeleta hinkwavo lava va kumekaka, lavo biha ni lavo lulama, kutani yindlu ya nkhuvo yi tala hi vanhu lava tshamiseke eswakudyeni.
11 “Kuteloko hosi yi nghenile ku ta languta lava tshamiseke eswakudyeni, yi vona munhu la nga ambalangiki xiambalo xa nkhuvo; 12 kutani yi ku ka yena: ‘Nakulorhi, u nghenise ku yini la, u nga ri na xiambalo xa nkhuvo?’ Yoloye a miyela. 13 tHiloko hosi yi ku ka malandza: ‘N'wi boheni milenge ni mavoko, mi n'wi cukumeta ehandle munyameni laha ku nga ta va ni minkosi ni ku getsela ka meno.’ ”
14 Kutani Yesu a ku: “Lava vitaniwaka va tele, kambe lava hlawuriwaka a hi vangani.”Ta ku humesela Khezari endzuvo

15 Kutani Vafarisi va suka, va ya tshama Yesu xikungu,t ku vona hilaha va nga n'wi phasaka hakona hi marito. 16 Kutani va rhuma vadyondzisiwa va vona ni va ntlawa wa Vaheroda, va ya n'wi byela, va ku: “Mudyondzisi, ha swi tiva leswaku u vula leswi tiyeke, ni leswaku u dyondzisa ndlela ya Xikwembu hi ntiyiso u nga landzeleli swa vanhu, hikuva a wu yi hi nghohe. 17 U nga hi byela miehleketo ya wena emhakeni leyi: Xana swa fanela ku humesela Khezari endzuvo, kumbe a swi faneli ke?” 18 Yesu, hi ku tiva mano ya vona, a ku: “Mi ndzi ringela yini, n'wina vakanganyisi? 19 Ndzi kombeni mali ya ndzuvo.” Kutani va n'wi tisela denari. 20 A ku ka vona: “Xifaniso lexi i xa mani ke? Ni vito leri i ra mani ke?” 21 Va n'wi hlamula va ku: “I swa Khezari.” Kutani a ku ka vona: “Nyikani Khezari leswi nga swa Khezari, ni Xikwembu leswi nga swa Xikwembu.”
22 Loko va twa sweswo, va hlamala, kutani va n'wi siya va suka va famba.Xivutiso ehenhla ka ku pfuka eku feni

23 tHi siku rero, van'wana va Vasaduki, va nga vanhu lava vulaka leswaku vafi a va pfuki, va ta eka Yesu, va fika va n'wi vutisa, va ku: 24 t“Mudyondzisi, Muxe ú te: ‘Loko munhu a fa a nga ri na vana, makwavo wa yena ú ta teka nsati wa mufi, a pfuxa ndyangu wa makwavo.’ 25 Sweswi ku ni mhaka leyi: A ku ri ni vamakwavo va 7 exikarhi ka hina; lowa mativula a a tekile nsati, kutani a fa, a nga ri na vana; hikwalaho ka swona, ndzisana ya yena yi sala yi hlayisa nsati wa kona. 26 Swi endlisa sweswo ni ka makwavo wa mufi wa vumbirhi, ni ka lowa vunharhu, ku ya fika eka lowa vu-7. 27 Endzhaku ka vona hinkwavo, wansati na yena a fa.
28 Leswi lava 7 hinkwavo va veke vanuna va wansati loyi, xana hi siku ra ku pfuka eku feni, ú ta va nsati wa mani exikarhi ka vona xana?”
29 Yesu a va hlamula, a ku: “Mi lahlekile ngopfu, hikuva a mi tivi Matsalwa ni matimba ya Xikwembu. 30 Hikuva enkarhini wa ku pfuka eku feni, vanhu a va ha teki hambi ku ri ku tekiwa, kambe va fana ni tintsumi ta le tilweni. 31 Loko ku ri ku pfuka ka vafi, xana a mi hlayanga leswi Xikwembu xi nga mi tivisa swona xana? Xona xi te: 32 t‘Hi mina Xikwembu xa Abrahama, ni Xikwembu xa Isaka, ni Xikwembu xa Yakobo.’ Xona a hi Xikwembu xa lava feke, kambe i Xikwembu xa lava hanyaka.”
33 Loko mintshungu yi twa sweswo, yi hlamala ngopfu hi ku dyondzisa ka yena.Ta nsinya wa Milawu

34 Loko Vafarisi va twile leswaku Yesu ú miyetile Vasaduki, va hlengeletana endhawini yin'we. 35 tKutani un'wana wa vona loyi a a ri mudyondzisi wa nawu, a ringa Yesu hi ku n'wi vutisa, a ku: 36 “Mudyondzisi, xana nawu lowukulu eMilawini hi wihi xana?” 37 tYesu a ku ka yena: “Hi lowu nge: ‘Rhandza Hosi Xikwembu xa wena hi mbilu ya wena hinkwayo, ni moya wa wena hinkwawo, ni ku anakanya ka wena hinkwako.’ 38 Lowu hi wona nawu lowukulu, lowo rhanga; 39 tkutani lowa vumbirhi, lowu fanaka na wona, hi lowu nge: ‘Rhandza munhu-kuloni, kukota loko u tirhandza.’
40 Milawu lemimbirhi leyi yi katsa Milawu hinkwayo ni marito ya Vaprofeta.”Xivutiso ehenhla ka n'wana Davhida

41 Yesu a vutisa Vafarisi lava hlengeletaneke, 42 a ku: “Xana mi ehleketa yini hi Mesiya xana? I n'wana mani ke?” Va n'wi hlamula va ku: “I n'wana Davhida.”
43 A ku ka vona: “Loko swi ri tano, hikwalaho ka yini Davhida a kombisiwile hi Moya ku vula leswaku Mesiya i N'wini wa hinkwaswo ke? Hakunene Davhida ú te:
44 t“ ‘Hosi Xikwembu xi te ka N'wini wanga:
Tshama evokweni ra mina ra xinene,
kutani ndzi ta veka valala va wena
ehansi ka minkondzo ya wena.’
45 “Hikokwalaho, loko Davhida a vula Mesiya, a ku i N'wini wa hinkwaswo, xana a nga va n'wana wa yena hi ndlela yihi ke?” 46 A ka ha vanga na un'we la tiveke ku n'wi hlamula nchumu; naswona, ku sukela enkarhini wolowo, a ka ha vanga na munhu la nga tiya nhlana ku n'wi vutisa xivutiso.
Matthew 22
1 And Jesus answered and spake again in parables unto them, saying,2 The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,3 and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the marriage feast: and they would not come.4 Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them that are bidden, Behold, I have made ready my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast.5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise;6 and the rest laid hold on his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.7 But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they that were bidden were not worthy.9 Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.10 And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.11 But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:12 and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.13 Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.14 For many are called, but few chosen.
15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might ensnare him in his talk.16 And they send to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one: for thou regardest not the person of men.17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why make ye trial of me, ye hypocrites?19 Show me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a denarius.20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?21 They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.22 And when they heard it, they marvelled, and left him, and went away.
23 On that day there came to him Sadducees, they that say that there is no resurrection: and they asked him,24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first married and deceased, and having no seed left his wife unto his brother;26 in like manner the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.27 And after them all, the woman died.28 In the resurrection therefore whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.29 But Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven.31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.33 And when the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
34 But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, gathered themselves together.35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, trying him:36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is the great and first commandment.39 And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.40 On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.
41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,42 saying, What think ye of the Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I put thine enemies underneath thy feet?
45 If David then calleth him Lord, how is he his son?46 And no one was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
