2 “อาณา_จักร_แห่ง_สวรรค์_เปรียบ_เหมือน_กับ_กษัตริย์ ที่_ได้_เตรียม_งาน_แต่ง_งาน_ให้_กับ_ลูกชาย

3 แล้ว_กษัตริย์_ได้_เชิญ_แขก_เหรื่อ_มาก_มาย เมื่อ_เตรียม_งาน_เสร็จ_แล้ว กษัตริย์_ส่ง_ทาส_ไป_บอก_แขก_เหล่า_นั้น_ว่า มา_ได้_แล้ว แต่_กลับ_ไม่_มี_ใคร_มา

4 กษัตริย์_จึง_ส่ง_ทาส_คน_อื่น_ไป_อีก_ให้_ไป_บอก_พวก_แขก_เหรื่อ_นั้น_ว่า ‘เรา_ได้_ฆ่า_วัว_และ_ลูก_วัว_อ้วน_พี_ไว้_แล้ว ทุก_อย่าง_พร้อม_แล้ว มา_งาน_เลี้ยง_ได้_แล้ว’

5 แต่_ไม่_มี_ใคร_สนใจ ต่าง_ก็_ไป_ทำ_ธุระ_ของ_ตัวเอง คน_หนึ่ง_ไป_ทำ_สวน อีก_คน_หนึ่ง_ไป_ทำการ_ค้า

6 คน_ที่_เหลือ_ก็_จับ_พวก_ทาส_มา_ทุบ_ตี_และ_ฆ่า_ทิ้ง

7 กษัตริย์_โกรธ_แค้น_มาก ก็_เลย_ส่ง_กอง_ทัพ_มา_ทำลาย_คน_ที่_ฆ่า_พวก_ทาส_ของ_เขา และ_เผา_เมือง_ของ_พวก_นั้น_ทิ้ง_ไป

8 แล้ว_กษัตริย์_พูด_กับ_พวก_ทาส_ว่า ‘งาน_แต่งงาน_ก็_เตรียม_ไว้_พร้อม_แล้ว แต่_แขก_ที่_เรา_เชิญ_นั้น_ไม่_เหมาะ_สม_ที่_จะ_มา_งาน_นี้

9 ออก_ไป_ตาม_หัว_ถนน_ต่างๆ_เจอ_ใคร_ก็_เชิญ_มา_ให้_หมด’

10 พวก_ทาส_จึง_ออก_ไป_ตาม_ถนน_และ_เชิญ_ทุก_คน_ที่_พวก_เขา_เจอ_ทั้ง_ดี_และ_ชั่ว จน_มี_แขก_เต็ม_ห้องโถง

11 เมื่อ_กษัตริย์_เข้า_มา_ดู_แขก_เหรื่อ ก็_เห็น_ชาย_คน_หนึ่ง_แต่ง_ตัว_ไม่_เหมาะ_สม_กับ_งาน

12 พระองค์_จึง_พูด_ว่า ‘เพื่อน_เอ๋ย เข้า_มา_ได้_อย่าง_ไร ชุด_ใส่_สำหรับ_งาน_แต่ง_ก็_ไม่_มี’ ชาย_นั้น_ก็_ไม่_มีคำ_แก้_ตัว

13 พระองค์_จึง_สั่ง_พวก_ทาส_ว่า ‘มัด_มือ_มัด_เท้า_มัน แล้ว_โยน_ออก_ไป_ที่_มืด_ข้าง_นอก_ที่_มี_เสียง_คน_ร้องไห้_โหย_หวน_อย่าง_เจ็บ_ปวด’

14 มี_หลาย_คน_ที่_ได้_รับ_เชิญ_มา แต่_มี_น้อย_คน_ที่_ถูก_เลือก_ไว้”

คำ_ถาม_เกี่ยว_กับ_การ_เสีย_ภาษี

15 แล้ว_พวก_ฟาริสี_ก็_ออก_ไป_วางแผน_หา_ทาง_จับผิด_คำ_พูด_ของ_พระ_เยซู

16 พวก_เขา_จึง_ส่ง_ลูกศิษย์_ของ_ตัวเอง กับ_พวก_ที่_สนับสนุน_กษัตริย์_เฮโรด_ไป_ถาม_พระ_เยซู_ว่า “อาจารย์ เรา_รู้_ว่า_อาจารย์_เป็น_คน_ซื่อ_สัตย์_และ_สอน_ความ_จริง_ที่_พระเจ้า_ต้อง_การ_ให้_คนทำ อาจารย์_ไม่_กลัว_ว่า_คน_อื่น_จะ_คิด_อย่าง_ไร เพราะ_อาจารย์_ไม่_เห็นแก่หน้า_ใคร_อยู่_แล้ว

17 ถ้า_อย่าง_นั้น_ช่วย_บอก_หน่อย_ว่า มัน_ถูกต้อง_ตามกฎ_หรือ_เปล่า_ที่_จะ_ต้อง_จ่าย_ภาษี_ให้_กับ_ซีซาร์”

18 แต่_พระ_เยซู_รู้_ถึง_เจตนา_ที่_ชั่ว_ร้าย_ของ_พวก_เขา พระองค์_ย้อน_ว่า “ไอ้_พวก_นัก_แสดง แก_พยายาม_หา_เรื่อง_จับผิด_เรา_ทำ_ไม

19 เอา_เหรียญ_ที่_ใช้_เสีย_ภาษี_มา_ให้_ดู_หน่อย” พวก_เขา_ยื่น_เหรียญ_เงิน_ให้_พระองค์_เหรียญ_หนึ่ง

20 พระองค์_ถาม_ว่า “นี่_รูป_ใคร และ_มี_ชื่อ_ใคร_อยู่_บน_เหรียญ_นี้”

21 พวก_เขา_ตอบ_ว่า “ซีซาร์” พระองค์_บอก_พวก_เขา_ว่า “ของๆ_ซีซาร์_ก็_ให้_กับ_ซีซาร์ ของๆ_พระเจ้า_ก็_ให้_กับ_พระเจ้า”

22 เมื่อ_ได้_ยิน_อย่าง_นั้น พวก_เขา_ก็_ตะลึง_อึ้ง_ไป_เลย แล้ว_พา_กัน_จาก_ไป

พวก_สะดูสี_จับผิด_พระ_เยซู

23 ใน_วัน_เดียว_กัน_นั้น พวก_สะดูสี ซึ่ง_เป็น_พวก_ที่_เชื่อ_ว่า_คน_ตาย_แล้ว_จะ_ไม่_ฟื้น ได้_มา_ถาม_พระ_เยซู_ว่า

24 “อาจารย์ โมเสส_บอก_พวก_เรา_ว่า ‘ถ้า_ชาย_คน_ไหน_ตาย_และ_ยัง_ไม่_มี_ลูก น้อง_ชาย_ของ_เขา_ต้อง_แต่ง_กับ_หญิงม่าย_คน_นั้น จะ_ได้_มี_ลูก_ไว้_สืบ_สกุล_ให้_กับ_พี่_ชาย_ของ_เขา’

25 ครั้ง_หนึ่ง มี_พี่_น้อง_อยู่_เจ็ด_คน พี่ชาย_คน_โต_แต่งงาน_แล้ว_ตาย_ไป แต่_ยัง_ไม่_มี_ลูก เขา_ได้_ทิ้ง_ภรรยา_ของ_เขา_ไว้_ให้_กับ_น้อง_ชาย

26 แล้ว_น้อง_ชาย_คน_ที่_สอง_ก็_ตาย_และ_ไม่_มี_ลูก น้อง_ชายคน_ที่_สาม_ก็_เหมือน_กัน_ไป_จน_ถึง_คน_ที่_เจ็ด

27 ใน_ที่_สุด_หญิง_คน_นั้น_ก็_ตาย_ด้วย

28 ใน_วัน_ที่_ทุก_คน_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_มา_จาก_ตาย ที_นี้_เธอ_จะ_เป็น_ภรรยา_ของ_ใคร ใน_เมื่อ_ทั้ง_เจ็ด_คน_นั้น_ก็_เคย_เป็น_สามี_ของ_เธอ”

29 พระ_เยซู_ตอบ_ว่า “พวก_คุณ_นี่_ผิด_ถนัด_เลย นี่_เป็น_เพราะ_พวก_คุณ_ไม่_เข้า_ใจ_พระคัมภีร์ และ_ไม่_รู้จัก_ฤทธิ์_เดช_ของ_พระเจ้า

30 เมื่อ_คน_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_จาก_ความ_ตาย_นั้น ก็_จะ_ไม่_มี_การ_แต่ง_งาน หรือ_ยก_ให้_เป็น_ผัว_เมีย_กัน_อีก_แล้ว แต่_พวก_เขา_จะ_เป็น_เหมือน_ทูตสวรรค์

31 ใน_เรื่อง_การ_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_จาก_ความ_ตาย_นั้น พวก_คุณ_ไม่_เคย_อ่าน_เลย_หรือ ที่_พระเจ้า_พูด_ว่า

32 ‘เรา_เป็น_พระเจ้า_ของ_อับราฮัม พระเจ้า_ของ_อิสอัค และ_พระเจ้า_ของ_ยาโคบ’t เพราะ_พระเจ้า_เป็น_พระเจ้า_ของ_คน_ที่_มี_ชีวิต ไม่_ใช่_ของ_คน_ตาย”

33 เมื่อ_ฝูงชน_ได้_ยิน_อย่าง_นี้ ต่าง_ก็_ทึ่ง_ใน_คำ_สอน_ของ_พระองค์

กฎ_ข้อ_ไหน_สำคัญ_ที่สุด

34 เมื่อ_พวก_ฟาริสี ได้_ยิน_ว่า_พระ_เยซู_ทำ_ให้_พวก_สะดูสี_ถึง_กับ_อึ้ง_ไป_เลย พวก_เขา_ก็_มา_ชุมนุม_กัน

35 คน_หนึ่ง_ใน_พวก_เขา_ที่_คล่อง_กฎ_ของ_โมเสส_มาก ได้_มา_ทด_สอบ_พระ_เยซู_ว่า

36 “อาจารย์ ใน_กฎ_ของ_โมเสส คำ_สั่ง_ข้อ_ไหน_สำคัญ_ที่สุด_ครับ”

“นั่ง_ลง_ทาง_ขวา_มือ_ของ_เรา

Matthew 22

Parable of the Marriage Feast

1 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying,2 "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son.3 And he sent out his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come.4 Again he sent out other slaves saying, 'Tell those who have been invited, "Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast."'5 But they paid no attention and went their way, one to his own farm, another to his business,6 and the rest seized his slaves and mistreated them and killed them.7 But the king was enraged, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire.8 Then he *said to his slaves, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.9 Go therefore to the main highways, and as many as you find there, invite to the wedding feast.'10 Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests.

11 "But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes,12 and he *said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?' And the man was speechless.13 Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'14 For many are called, but few are chosen."

Tribute to Caesar

15 Then the Pharisees went and plotted together how they might trap Him in what He said.16 And they *sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and defer to no one; for You are not partial to any.17 Tell us then, what do You think? Is it lawful to give a poll-tax to Caesar, or not?"18 But Jesus perceived their malice, and said, "Why are you testing Me, you hypocrites?19 Show Me the coin used for the poll-tax." And they brought Him a denarius.20 And He *said to them, "Whose likeness and inscription is this?"21 They *said to Him, "Caesar's." Then He *said to them, "Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's."22 And hearing this, they were amazed, and leaving Him, they went away.

Jesus Answers the Sadducees

23 On that day some Sadducees (who say there is no resurrection) came to Jesus and questioned Him,24 asking, "Teacher, Moses said, 'IF A MAN DIES HAVING NO CHILDREN, HIS BROTHER AS NEXT OF KIN SHALL MARRY HIS WIFE, AND RAISE UP CHILDREN FOR HIS BROTHER.'25 Now there were seven brothers with us; and the first married and died, and having no children left his wife to his brother;26 so also the second, and the third, down to the seventh.27 Last of all, the woman died.28 In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had married her."

29 But Jesus answered and said to them, "You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God.30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.31 But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God:32 'I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living."33 When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.

34 But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together.35 One of them, ta lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him,36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"37 And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'38 This is the great and foremost commandment.39 The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'40 On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question:42 "What do you think about the Christ, whose son is He?" They *said to Him, " The son of David."43 He *said to them, "Then how does David in the Spirit call Him 'Lord,' saying,

44 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD,
"SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND,
UNTIL I PUT YOUR ENEMIES BENEATH YOUR FEET"'?45 If David then calls Him 'Lord,' how is He his son?"46 No one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day on to ask Him another question.
