马太福音 25

十个童女的比喻

1 “那时，天国好比十个童女，拿着她们的灯出去迎接新郎t。2 她们当中有五个是愚拙的，五个是聪明的。3 那些愚拙的童女带着她们的灯，却没有带油；4 而那些聪明的带着瓶子里的油，以及自己的灯。5 后来新郎迟延不到，她们都打盹，睡着了。

6 “半夜里，有人喧嚷：‘看哪，是新郎！你们出来迎接他！’

7 “十个t童女都醒过来，修整她们的灯。8 愚拙的对聪明的说：‘请把你们的油分一点给我们，因为我们的灯要灭了。’

9 “但那些聪明的回答说：‘不行，绝不够我们和你们用的。你们还是到卖油的那里去，为自己买吧。’

10 “可是她们去买的时候，新郎就来了。那些预备好了的，与新郎一同进去赴婚宴，门就关上了。

11 “后来其余的童女也来了，说：‘主啊，主啊，请给我们开门！’

12 “但是新郎回答说：‘我确实地告诉你们：我不认识你们。’

13 “所以你们要警醒，因为你们不知道t那日子和那时刻。

受托银子的比喻

14 “天国又好比一个人要出外旅行，就叫来自己的奴仆们，把他所拥有的交托给他们。15 他按照每个人自己的能力，一个给了五千两银子t，一个给了两千两t，一个给了一千两t，然后就出外旅行。16 那领了五千的，立刻用这些钱去做生意，另外赚了五千。17 那领了两千的，也照样另赚了两千。18 可是那领了一千的，却出去挖地，把他主人的银子藏起来。

19 “过了很久，那些奴仆的主人回来，与他们清算账目。20 那领了五千两银子的，带着另外的五千两上前来，说：‘主啊，你交托给我五千两银子，请看，我另外赚了五千两。’

21 “主人对他说：‘做得好，忠心的好奴仆！你在少许的事上忠心，我要委任你统管很多的事。进来分享你主人的快乐吧！’

22 “那领了两千两银子的也上前来，说：‘主啊，你交托给我两千两银子，请看，我另外赚了两千两。’

23 “主人对他说：‘做得好，忠心的好奴仆！你在少许的事上忠心，我要委任你统管很多的事。进来分享你主人的快乐吧！’

24 “接着，那领了一千两银子的也上前来，说：‘主啊，我知道你是个严厉的人，不是你播种的地方，你收获；不是你投放的地方，你收集。25 我惧怕，就去把你的银子藏在地里。请看，你的银子在这里。’

26 “主人回答他，说：‘你这又恶又懒的奴仆！你既然知道：不是我播种的地方，我收获；不是我投放的地方，我收集，27 你就应该把我的银子存到钱庄里，这样我回来的时候，可以连本带利得回来。

28 “所以，你们把那一千两银子从他那里拿走，给那个有一万两的；29 因为凡是有的，还要赐给他，使他丰足有余；那没有的，连他有的也将从他那里被拿走。30 把这个无用的奴仆丢到外面的黑暗里去！在那里将有哀哭和切齿。’

绵羊与山羊

31 “当人子在他的荣耀中，与所有的t天使一起来临的时候，他那时就要坐在他荣耀的宝座上。32 万民都将被召集到他面前。他要把他们互相分别，就像牧人把绵羊从山羊中分别出来那样，33 把绵羊放在他的右边，山羊放在左边。34 那时王要对在他右边的人说：‘来吧，蒙我父所祝福的人哪，来继承创世以来已经为你们所预备好的国度吧！

35 因为我饿了，你们给我吃；我渴了，你们给我喝；我在异乡时，你们收留了我；

36 我衣不蔽体，你们给我穿；我患了病，你们照顾我；我在监狱里，你们探望我。’

37 “那时义人将回答说：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了就给你吃，见你渴了就给你喝呢？38 我们什么时候见你在异乡就收留了你，见你衣不蔽体就给你穿呢？39 又什么时候见你患病或在监狱里，就到你那里去呢？’

40 “王要回答他们，说：‘我确实地告诉你们：你们为我这些弟兄中最小的一个所做的事，就是为我做了。’41 那时王要对在左边的人说：‘你们这些被诅咒的人！离开我！进到那已经为魔鬼和他的使者们所预备好的永远的火里去！

42 因为我饿了，你们没有给我吃；我渴了，你们没有给我喝；

43 我在异乡时，你们没有收留我；我衣不蔽体，你们没有给我穿；我患了病、在监狱里，你们没有照顾我。’

44 “那时他们也要回答说：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了，或渴了，或在异乡，或衣不蔽体，或患了病，或在监狱里，而没有服事你呢？’

45 “那时王要回答他们，说：‘我确实地告诉你们：你们没有为我这些弟兄中最小的一个所做的事，也就是没有为我做。’

46 “结果这些人将离去，进入永远的刑罚。然而，义人将进入永恒的生命。”

Matthew 25

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.2 Fivet of the virginst were foolish, and five were wise.3 Whent the foolish ones took their lamps, they did not take extrat olive oilt with them.4 But the wise ones took flasks of olive oil with their lamps.5 Whent the bridegroom was delayed a long time, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.6 But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is here! Come out to meet him.’s7 Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.8 Thet foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’9 ‘No,’ they replied.t ‘There won’t be enough for you and for us. Go instead to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’10 But while they had gone to buy it, the bridegroom arrived, and those who were ready went inside with him to the wedding banquet. Thent the door was shut.11 Later,t the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’t12 But he replied,t ‘I tell you the truth,t I do not know you!’

13 Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the day or the hour.s

The Parable of the Talents

14 “For it is like a man going on a journey, who summoned his slavest and entrusted his property to them.15 Tot one he gave five talents,s to another two, and to another one, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.16 The one who had received five talents went off right away and put his money to workt and gained five more.17 In the same way, the one who had two gained two more.18 But the one who had received one talent went out and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money in it.19 Aftert a long time, the master of those slaves came and settled his accounts with them.20 Thet one who had received the five talents came and brought five more, saying, ‘Sir,t you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’21 His master answered,t ‘Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful in a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’22 Thet one with the two talents also came and said, ‘Sir, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more.’23 His master answered, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’24 Then the one who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Sir, I knew that you were a hard man, harvesting where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter seed,25 sot I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’26 But his master answered,t ‘Evil and lazy slave! So you knew that I harvest where I didn’t sow and gather where I didn’t scatter?27 Then you should have deposited my money with the bankers,t and on my return I would have received my money back with interest!s28 Therefore take the talent from him and give it to the one who has ten.t29 For the one who has will be given more,ts and he will have more than enough. But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.s

30 And throw that worthless slave into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The Judgment

31 “Whent the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.32 Allt the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate people one from another like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.33 Het will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.34 Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,36 I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’37 Then the righteous will answer him,t ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?38 Whent did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you?39 Whent did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

40 And the king will answer them,t ‘I tell you the truth,t just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisterst of mine, you did it for me.’
41 “Then he will sayt to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink.43 I was a stranger and you did not receive me as a guest, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’44 Then they too will answer,t ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not give you whatever you needed?’45 Then he will answer them,t ‘I tell you the truth,t just as you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for me.’

46 And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
