Матей 28

1 И като се мина съботата, на разсъвнуване в първия ден на седмицата, дойде Мария Магдалина, и другата Мария, да видят гроба.2 И ето, стана трус голям; защото ангел Господен слезе от небето, та пристъпи и отвали камика от вратата, и седеше отгоре на него.3 На глед бе той като блескавица, и облеклото му бяло като сняг.4 И от страха му стреснаха се стражарите, и станаха като мъртви.5 А ангелът отговори и рече на жените: не бойте се вие; защото зная, че Исуса разпятаго търсите.6 Не е тука; защото възкръсна, както рече: елате, вижте мястото гдето лежеше Господ.7 И скоро идете та кажете на учениците му, че възкръсна от мъртвите; и ето, отхожда преди вас в Галилея: там ще го видите; ето , казах ви.8 И излязоха скоро от гробът със страх и радост голяма, и завтекоха се да известят на учениците му.9 И когато отхождаха да известят на учениците му, ето Исус ги срещна, и каза: Радвайте се. А те пристъпиха, та се уловиха за нозете му, и поклониха му се.10 Тогаз казва им Исус: Не бойте се; идете, известете на братята ми, да идат в Галилея, и там ще ме видят.11 А когато те отиваха, ето някои от стражата дойдоха в града, и известиха на първосвещениците, всичко що бе станало.12 И те като се събраха със старейшините, и като се съветваха, дадоха на войните сребро доволно,13 и думаха им: Речете че учениците му дойдоха през нощ и го откраднаха, когато ние спяхме.14 И ако се чуе това пред управителя, ние ще го убедим, и ще сторим вие да нямате грижа.15 И те като взеха парите, сториха както бяха научени. И разчу се това слово между Юдеите даже и до днес.16 А единадесетте ученици отидоха в Галилея, на гората дето им заръча Исус.17 И като го видяха, поклониха му се; а някои се усъмниха.18 И пристъпи Исус та им говори и рече: Даде ми се всяка власт на небето и на земята.19 Идете прочее, научете всичките народи, и кръщавайте ги в името на Отца и Сина и Светаго Духа;20 и учете ги да пазят всичко що съм ви заповядал; и ето, аз съм с вас през всичките дни, до скончанието на века. Matthew 28

The Resurrection

1 Now after the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.2 Suddenly there was a severe earthquake, for an angel of the Lordt descending from heaven came and rolled away the stone and sat on it.3 Hist appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.4 Thet guards were shaken and became like dead men because they were so afraid of him.5 But the angel saidt to the women, “Do not be afraid; I knowt that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.s6 He is not here, for he has been raised,t just as he said. Come and see the place where hes was lying.7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead. Het is going ahead of you into Galilee. You will see him there.’ Listen, I have told you!”8 Sot they left the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.9 Butt Jesus met them, saying, “Greetings!” Theyt came to him, held on to his feet and worshiped him.

10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee. They will see me there.”

The Guards’ Report

11 Whilet they were going, somet of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests everything that had happened.12 Aftert they had assembled with the elders and formed a plan, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,13 telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came at night and stole his bodyt while we were asleep.’14 Ift this matter is heard before the governor,t we will satisfy hims and keep you out of trouble.”t

15 So they took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story is told among the Jews to this day.s

The Great Commission

16 Sot the eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain Jesus had designated.17 Whent they saw him, they worshiped him,t but some doubted.t18 Then Jesus came up and said to them,t “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Therefore got and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,s

20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember,t I am with yous always, to the end of the age.”s
