マタイによる福音書 28

二八

1 　安息日も終わり、日曜日になりました。　マグダラのマリヤともう一人のマリヤは、明け方早く、墓へ出かけました。
2 　突然、大きな地震が起きました。　主の使いが天から下って来て、墓の入口から石を転がし、その上に座ったからです。　3 御使いの顔はいなずまのように輝き、着物はまばゆいほどの白さでした。　4 警備員たちはその姿を見て震え上がり、まるで死人のようになって、へなへなと座り込んでしまいました。
5 　すると、御使いがマリヤたちに声をかけました。　「こわがらなくてもいいのです。　十字架につけられたイエス様を捜していることはわかっています。　6 だがもう、イエス様はここにはおられません。　前から話していたように復活されたのです。　中に入って、遺体の置いてあった所を見てごらんなさい......。　7 さあ早く行って、弟子たちに、イエス様が死人の中から復活されたこと、ガリラヤへ行けば、そこでお会いできることを知らせてあげなさい。　わかりましたね。」
8 　二人は、恐ろしさに震えながらも、一方ではあふれる喜びを抑えることができませんでした。　一刻も早くこのことを弟子たちに伝えようと、一目散に駆けだしました。　9 すると、そこへ突然イエスがお姿を現わされ、目の前にお立ちになり、「おはよう」とあいさつなさいました。　二人はイエスの前にひれ伏し、御足を抱いて礼拝しました。
10 　イエスは言われました。　「こわがらなくてもいいのですよ。　行って、わたしの兄弟たちに、すぐガリラヤへ行くように言いなさい。　そこでわたしに会えるのです。」
11 　二人が町へ急いでいるころ、墓の番をしていた警備員たちは祭司長たちのところに駆け込み、一部始終を報告しました。
12-13 ユダヤ人の指導者が全員召集され、善後策が講じられました。　その結果、警備員たちにお金をつかませて、夜、眠っている間に、イエスの弟子たちが死体を盗んでいった、と言わせることにしました。
14 　「もしこのことが総督閣下の耳に入ったとしても、うまく説得してやるから心配ない。　おまえたちには決して迷惑はかけない。」彼らはこう約束しました。
15 　賄賂を受け取った警備員たちは、言われたとおりに話しました。そのため、この話は広くユダヤ人の間に行き渡り、今でも、彼らはそう信じているのです。
16 　一方、十一人の弟子はガリラヤに出かけ、イエスから指示された山に登りました。　17 そこでイエスにお会いして礼拝しましたが、中には、ほんとうにイエスだと信じない者もいました。
18 　イエスは弟子たちに言われました。　「わたしには天と地のすべての権威が与えられています。　19 だから、出て行って、すべての国の人々をわたしの弟子とし、彼らに、父と子と聖霊との名によってバプテスマ（洗礼）を授けなさい。　20 また、新しく弟子となった者たちには、あなたがたに命じておいたすべての戒めを守るように教えなさい。　わたしはこの世の終わりまで、いつもあなたがたと共にいるのです。」

Matthew 28

1 Now late on the sabbath day, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon it.3 His appearance was as lightning, and his raiment white as snow:4 and for fear of him the watchers did quake, and became as dead men.5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, who hath been crucified.6 He is not here; for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples, He is risen from the dead; and lo, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.8 And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.9 And behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and took hold of his feet, and worshipped him.10 Then saith Jesus unto them, Fear not: go tell my brethren that they depart into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

11 Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city, and told unto the chief priests all the things that were come to pass.12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave much money unto the soldiers,13 saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.14 And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and rid you of care.15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continueth until this day.

16 But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them.17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted.18 And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
