La résurrection de Jésus
Mc 16.1-8 ; Lc 24.1-11 ; Jn 20.1,11-18
1 tAprès le sabbat, alors que le premier jour de la semaine allait commencer, Marie-Madeleine et l’autre Marie vinrent voir le sépulcre. 2 tSoudain, il y eut un grand tremblement de terre ; car l’ange du Seigneur, descendu du ciel, vint rouler la pierre et s’asseoir dessus. 3 tSon aspect était comme l’éclair et son vêtement blanc comme la neige. 4 tLes gardes tremblèrent de peur et devinrent comme morts. 5 tMais l’ange dit aux femmes : Vous, n’ayez pas peur, car je sais que vous cherchez Jésus, le crucifié. 6 tIl n’est pas ici ; en effet, il s’est réveillé, comme il l’avait dit. Venez, regardez le lieu où il gisait,
7 tet allez vite dire à ses disciples qu’il s’est réveillé d’entre les morts. Il vous précède en Galilée ; c’est là que vous le verrez. Voilà, je vous l’ai dit.
8 tElles s’éloignèrent vite du tombeau, avec crainte et avec une grande joie, et elles coururent porter la nouvelle aux disciples. 9 tMais Jésus vint au-devant d’elles et leur dit : Bonjour ! Elles s’approchèrent et lui saisirent les pieds en se prosternant devant lui.
10 tAlors Jésus leur dit : N’ayez pas peur ; allez dire à mes frères de se rendre en Galilée : c’est là qu’ils me verront.Le récit des gardes
11 tPendant qu’elles étaient en chemin, quelques hommes de la garde entrèrent dans la ville et racontèrent aux grands prêtres tout ce qui était arrivé. 12 tCeux-ci, après s’être rassemblés avec les anciens et avoir tenu conseil, donnèrent aux soldats une forte somme d’argent 13 ten leur ordonnant : Dites : « Ses disciples sont venus de nuit le dérober, pendant que nous étions endormis. » 14 tEt si le gouverneur l’apprend, nous userons de persuasion envers lui et nous ferons en sorte que vous ne soyez pas inquiétés.
15 tIls prirent l’argent et agirent selon les instructions qui leur avaient été données. Et cette histoire s’est propagée parmi les Juifs jusqu’à ce jour.Le Ressuscité envoie ses disciples en mission
16 tLes onze disciples allèrent en Galilée, sur la montagne que Jésus avait désignée. 17 tQuand ils le virent, ils se prosternèrent, mais quelques-uns eurent des doutes ; 18 tJésus s’approcha et leur dit : Toute autorité m’a été donnée dans le ciel et sur la terre. 19 tAllez, faites des gens de toutes les nations des disciples, baptisez-les pour le nom du Père, du Fils et de l’Esprit saint, 20 tet enseignez-leur à garder tout ce que je vous ai commandé. Quant à moi, je suis avec vous tous les jours, jusqu’à la fin du monde.
Matthew 28
1 Now late on the sabbath day, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon it.3 His appearance was as lightning, and his raiment white as snow:4 and for fear of him the watchers did quake, and became as dead men.5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, who hath been crucified.6 He is not here; for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples, He is risen from the dead; and lo, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.8 And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.9 And behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and took hold of his feet, and worshipped him.10 Then saith Jesus unto them, Fear not: go tell my brethren that they depart into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city, and told unto the chief priests all the things that were come to pass.12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave much money unto the soldiers,13 saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.14 And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and rid you of care.15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continueth until this day.
16 But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them.17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted.18 And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
