Învierea lui Isus
1 După Sabat, în timp ce se iveau zorii primei zile din săptămână, Maria Magdalena și cealaltă Marie s-au dus să vadă mormântul.
2 Și iată că a avut loc un cutremur mare, căci un înger al Domnului a coborât din cer și s-a dus de a rostogolit piatrat și s-a așezat pe ea.3 Înfățișarea lui era ca fulgerul, iar îmbrăcămintea lui era albă ca zăpada.4 Gardienii au început să tremure de frică și au rămas ca morți.
5 Îngerul le-a zis femeilor: „Nu vă temeți! Știu că Îl căutați pe Isus Care a fost răstignit!6 Nu este aici, pentru că a fost înviat, așa cum a spus! Veniți și vedeți locul unde fusese pus7 și apoi duceți-vă repede și spuneți-le ucenicilor Lui: «A fost înviat dintre cei morți! Și iată că El merge înaintea voastră în Galileea! Acolo Îl veți vedea!» Iată că v-am spus lucrul acesta!“
8 Ele au plecat repede de la mormânt, cu frică și cu mare bucurie, și au alergat să-i anunțe pe ucenici.9 Dar iată că le-a ieșit înainte Isus și le-a zis: „Salutaret!“ Ele s-au apropiat, I-au cuprins picioarele și I s-au închinat.10 Atunci Isus le-a zis: „Nu vă temeți! Duceți-vă și anunțați-i pe frații Mei să meargă în Galileea; acolo Mă vor vedea!“
Raportul gărzii și înșelătoria conducătorilor
11 În timp ce plecau ele, câțiva dintre gardieni s-au dus în cetate și i-au înștiințat pe conducătorii preoților cu privire la tot ce se întâmplase.12 Aceștia s-au adunat împreună cu bătrânii, au ținut sfat și le-au dat soldaților mulți bani,13 zicându-le: „Să spuneți așa: «Ucenicii Lui au venit noaptea, în timp ce noi dormeam, și L-au furat!»14 Iar dacă vestea aceasta va ajunge la guvernator, îl vom convinge noi și vă vom scăpa de grijă!“15 Ei au luat banii și au făcut așa cum fuseseră învățați. Și zvonul acesta s-a răspândit printre iudei până în ziua de astăzi.
Marea Însărcinare
16 Cei unsprezece ucenici s-au dus în Galileea, la muntele la care le spusese Isus să meargă.17 Când L-au văzut, I s-au închinat, dar unii s-au îndoit.18 Isus S-a apropiat de ei și le-a vorbit astfel: „Toată autoritatea Mi-a fost dată în cer și pe pământ.19 Prin urmare, duceți-vă și faceți ucenici din toate neamurile, botezându-i în Numele Tatălui, al Fiului și al Duhului Sfânt20 și învățându-i să păzească tot ce v-am poruncit! Și iată că Eu sunt cu voit în toate zilele, până la sfârșitul veacului!“

Jesus Is Alive
(Mark 16.1-8; Luke 24.1-12; John 20.1-10)
1 The Sabbath was over, and it was almost daybreak on Sunday when Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2 Suddenly a strong earthquake struck, and the Lord's angel came down from heaven. He rolled away the stone and sat on it. 3 The angel looked as bright as lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.
4 The guards shook from fear and fell down, as though they were dead.
5 The angel said to the women, “Don't be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was nailed to a cross. 6 He isn't here! God has raised him to life, just as Jesus said he would. Come, see the place where his body was lying.
7 Now hurry! Tell his disciples he has been raised to life and is on his way to Galilee. Go there, and you will see him. This is what I came to tell you.”
8 The women were frightened and yet very happy, as they hurried from the tomb and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them and greeted them. They went near him, held on to his feet, and worshiped him.
10 Then Jesus said, “Don't be afraid! Tell my followers to go to Galilee. They will see me there.”Report of the Guard
11 While the women were on their way, some soldiers who had been guarding the tomb went into the city. They told the chief priests everything that had happened. 12 So the chief priests met with the leaders and decided to bribe the soldiers with a lot of money. 13 They said to the soldiers, “Tell everyone that Jesus' disciples came during the night and stole his body while you were asleep. 14 If the governort hears about this, we will talk to him. You won't have anything to worry about.”
15 The soldiers took the money and did what they were told. The people of Judea still tell each other this story.What Jesus' Followers //Must Do

16 t Jesus' eleven disciples went to a mountain in Galilee, where Jesus had told them to meet him.
17 They saw him and worshiped him, but some of them doubted.
18 Jesus came to them and said:
I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth! 19 t Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, 20 and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.
