1 Y habló el Señor a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:2 Los hijos de Israel acamparán, cada uno junto a su bandera, bajo las insignias de sus casas paternas; acamparán alrededor de la tienda de reunión, a cierta distancia.3 Los que acampen al oriente, hacia la salida del sol, serán los de la bandera del campamento de Judá, según sus ejércitos. El jefe de los hijos de Judá, Naasón, hijo de Aminadab,4 y su ejército, los enumerados, setenta y cuatro mil seiscientos.5 Y junto a él acampará la tribu de Isacar. El jefe de los hijos de Isacar, Natanael, hijo de Zuar,6 y su ejército, los enumerados, cincuenta y cuatro mil cuatrocientos.7  Después, la tribu de Zabulón. El jefe de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab, hijo de Helón,8 y su ejército, los enumerados, cincuenta y siete mil cuatrocientos.

9 El total de los enumerados del campamento de Judá: ciento ochenta y seis mil cuatrocientos, según sus ejércitos. Ellos partirán primero.
10 Al sur estará la bandera del campamento de Rubén, según sus ejércitos. El jefe de los hijos de Rubén, Elisur, hijo de Sedeur,11 y su ejército, los enumerados, cuarenta y seis mil quinientos.12 Y junto a él acampará la tribu de Simeón. El jefe de los hijos de Simeón, Selumiel, hijo de Zurisadai,13 y su ejército, los enumerados, cincuenta y nueve mil trescientos.14 Después, la tribu de Gad. El jefe de los hijos de Gad, Eliasaf, hijo de Deuel,15 y su ejército, los enumerados, cuarenta y cinco mil seiscientos cincuenta.

16 El total de los enumerados del campamento de Rubén: ciento cincuenta y un mil cuatrocientos cincuenta, según sus ejércitos. Ellos partirán en segundo lugar .

17 Entonces partirá la tienda de reunión con el campamento de levitas en medio de los campamentos; tal como acampan así partirán, cada uno en su lugar, por sus banderas.
18 Al occidente estará la bandera del campamento de Efraín, según sus ejércitos. El jefe de los hijos de Efraín, Elisama, hijo de Amiud,19 y su ejército, los enumerados, cuarenta mil quinientos.20 Y junto a él estará la tribu de Manasés. El jefe de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur,21 y su ejército, los enumerados, treinta y dos mil doscientos.22 Después, la tribu de Benjamín. El jefe de los hijos de Benjamín, Abidán, hijo de Gedeoni,23 y su ejército, los enumerados, treinta y cinco mil cuatrocientos.

24 El total de los enumerados del campamento de Efraín: ciento ocho mil cien, según sus ejércitos. Y ellos partirán en tercer lugar.
25 Al norte estará la bandera del campamento de Dan, según sus ejércitos. El jefe de los hijos de Dan, Ahiezer, hijo de Amisadai,26 y su ejército, los enumerados, sesenta y dos mil setecientos.27 Y junto a él acampará la tribu de Aser. El jefe de los hijos de Aser, Pagiel, hijo de Ocrán,28 y su ejército, los enumerados, cuarenta y un mil quinientos.29 Después, la tribu de Neftalí. El jefe de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira, hijo de Enán,30 y su ejército, los enumerados, cincuenta y tres mil cuatrocientos.

31 El total de los enumerados del campamento de Dan: ciento cincuenta y siete mil seiscientos. Ellos serán los últimos en partir, según sus banderas.
32 Estos son los enumerados de los hijos de Israel, por sus casas paternas; el total de los enumerados de los campamentos, según sus ejércitos: seiscientos tres mil quinientos cincuenta.33 Pero los levitas no fueron contados entre los hijos de Israel, tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés.34 Y los hijos de Israel hicieron conforme a todo lo que el Señor había ordenado a Moisés; así acamparon por sus banderas y así partieron, cada uno según su familia, conforme a su casa paterna.

2 “Every onet of the Israelites must campt under his standard with the emblems of his family;t they must camp at some distancet around the tent of meeting.s

The Tribes on the East

3 “Now those who will be campingt on the east, toward the sunrise,s are the divisionst of the camp of Judah under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah ist Nahshon son of Amminadab.4 Those numbered in his divisions are 74,600.5 Those who will be camping next to themt are the tribe of Issachar. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar.6 Those numbered in his division are 54,400.7 Next will bet the tribe of Zebulun. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon.8 Those numbered in his division are 57,400.

9 All those numbered of the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, are 186,400. They will travelt at the front.

The Tribes on the South

10 “On the south will be the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard.t The leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur.11 Those numbered in his division are 46,500.12 Those who will be camping next to them are the tribe of Simeon. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.13 Those numbered in his division are 59,300.14 Next will bet the tribe of Gad. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of Deuel.s15 Those numbered in his division are 45,650.

16 All those numbered of the camp of Reuben, according to their divisions, are 151,450. They will travel second.

The Tribe in the Center

17 “Then the tent of meeting with the camp of the Levites will travel in the middle of the camps. They will travel in the same order as they camped, each in his own placet under his standard.

The Tribes on the West

18 “On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Amihud.19 Those numbered in his division are 40,500.20 Next to them will be the tribe of Manasseh. The leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.21 Those numbered in his division are 32,200.22 Next will bet the tribe of Benjamin. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni.23 Those numbered in his division are 35,400.

24 All those numbered of the camp of Ephraim, according to their divisions, are 108,100. They will travel third.

The Tribes on the North

25 “On the north will be the divisions of the camp of Dan, under their standards. The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.26 Those numbered in his division are 62,700.27 Those who will be camping next to them are the tribe of Asher. The leader of the people of Asher is Pagiel son of Ocran.28 Those numbered in his division are 41,500.29 Next will bet the tribe of Naphtali. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan.30 Those numbered in his division are 53,400.

31 All those numbered of the camp of Dan are 157,600. They will travel last, under their standards.”

33 But the Levites were not numbered among the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.

34 So the Israelites did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses; that is the wayt they camped under their standards, and that is the way they traveled, each with his clan and family.
