15 จริงอยู่_มี_พวก_เขา_บางคน_ประกาศ_เรื่อง_ของ_พระคริสต์ เพราะ_อิจฉา_และ_อยาก_ชิงดี_ชิงเด่น แต่_ก็_มี_คน_ที่_ประกาศ_เพราะ_ความ_หวังดี_เหมือน_กัน

16-17 พวก_แรก_นั้น_ประกาศ_เพราะ_อยาก_ชิงดี_ชิงเด่น_กับ_ผม และ_เพราะ_มี_ความ_ตั้งใจ_ที่_ไม่_ดี คือ_พวก_เขา_คิด_ว่า_จะ_เพิ่ม_ความ_ทุกข์_ให้_กับ_ผม_ใน_ระ_หว่าง_ที่_ผม_ยัง_ติด_คุก_อยู่_นี้_ได้ แต่_คน_อื่นๆ_นั้น_ประกาศ_เพราะ_ความ_รัก พวก_เขา_รู้_ว่า_พระเจ้า_ให้_ผม_อยู่_ที่_นี่_เพื่อ_ปกป้อง_ข่าว_ดี_อัน_นั้น

18 อย่าง_ไร_ก็_ตาม ไม่_ว่า_จะ_ทำ_เพราะ_มี_แรง_จูง_ใจ_ที่_ผิด_หรือ_ทำ_เพราะ_หวัง_ดี สิ่ง_ที่_สำคัญ_ที่_สุด คือ_เรื่อง_พระคริสต์_ก็_ได้_ประกาศ_ออก_ไป_อยู่_ดี ซึ่ง_ทำ_ให้_ผม_ดีใจ ใช่_แล้ว ผม_จะ_ยัง_ดีใจ_ต่อ_ไป_อีก

19 เพราะ_รู้_ว่า_ทุก_อย่าง_ที่_ได้_เกิด_ขึ้น_กับ_ผม_นี้_จะ_นำ_ผม_ไป_ถึง_ความ_รอด มัน_จะ_เป็น_อย่าง_นี้_ได้ เพราะ_คำ_อธิษฐาน_ของ_พวก_คุณ_และ_พระ_วิญญาณ_ของ_พระ_เยซู_คริสต์_ที่_พระเจ้า_ได้_ให้_กับ_ผม

20 ซึ่ง_ตรง_กับ_สิ่ง_ที่_ผม_คาด_หวัง_อย่าง_ยิ่ง_ว่า ผม_จะ_ไม่_อับอาย_ใน_เรื่อง_อะ_ไร_ทั้ง_นั้น แต่_จะ_กล้า_หาญ_มาก (เหมือน_กับ_ที่_เคย_กล้า_หาญ_มา_ตลอด) และ_พระ_เยซู_คริสต์_จะ_ได้_รับ_เกียรติ_เพราะ_ตัว_ผม ไม่_ว่า_ผม_จะ_มี_ชีวิต_อยู่_ต่อ_ไป_หรือ_จะ_ตาย_ก็_ตาม

21 สำ_หรับ_ผม จะ_อยู่_ก็_อยู่_เพื่อ_พระคริสต์ ถ้า_จะ_ตาย_ก็_ถือ_ว่า_ได้_กำไรt

22 แต่_ถ้า_ยัง_มี_ชีวิต_อยู่_ต่อ_ไป ผม_จะ_ได้_ทำ_งาน_ให้_เป็น_ประโยชน์ ก็_เลย_ไม่_รู้_ว่า_จะ_เลือก_อะไร_ดี

23 สอง_ทาง_นี้_มัน_เลือก_ยาก_มาก จริงๆ_แล้ว_ผม_อยาก_จะ_ตาย_และ_ไป_อยู่_กับ_พระคริสต์ เพราะ_นั่น_เป็น_สิ่ง_ที่_ดี_กว่า_มาก

24 แต่_มัน_จะ_ดี_กว่า_สำหรับ_พวก_คุณ_ที่_ผม_จะ_อยู่_ใน_ร่าง_นี้_ต่อ_ไป

25 เมื่อ_ผม_มั่นใจ_อย่าง_นี้ ผม_จึง_รู้_ว่า_ผม_จะ_อยู่_ต่อ_ไป_เพื่อ_ช่วย_พวก_คุณ_ทุก_คน_ให้_เจริญ_ขึ้น_และ_มี_ความ_สุข_ใน_ความ_เชื่อ_ที่_คุณ_มี

26 ดัง_นั้น คุณ_ก็จะ_ได้_มี_เหตุผล_มาก_ขึ้น_ที่_จะ_ภาค_ภูมิ_ใจ_ใน_พระ_เยซู_คริสต์_เพราะ_ผม เมื่อ_ผม_กลับ_มา_อยู่_กับ_พวก_คุณ_อีก_ครั้ง_หนึ่ง

27 แต่_สิ่ง_ที่_สำคัญ_ที่_สุด_คือ ให้_ตั้งใจ_ที่_จะ_ใช้_ชีวิต_ร่วม_กัน อย่าง_สอด_คล้อง_กับ_ข่าว_ดี_ของ_พระคริสต์ แล้ว_ไม่_ว่า_ผม_จะ_มา_เจอ_พวก_คุณ_หรือ_แค่_ได้_ฟัง_ข่าวคราว_ของ_พวก_คุณ ผม_จะ_ได้_รู้_ว่า_พวก_คุณ_ได้_ตั้ง_มั่นคง_อยู่_ใน_พระ_วิญญาณ_องค์_เดียว_กัน และ_ได้_ต่อสู้_เป็น_น้ำหนึ่ง_ใจ_เดียว_กัน เพื่อ_ความ_เชื่อ_ที่_เกิด_มา_จาก_ข่าว_ดี_นั้น

28 แล้ว_คุณ_ก็_จะ_ไม่_กลัว_คน_ที่_ต่อ_ต้าน_คุณ_เลย_สัก_นิด_เดียว เพราะ_ความ_เป็น_หนึ่ง_เดียว_และ_ความ_กล้า_ของ_คุณ จะ_ทำ_ให้_เห็น_ว่า_พวก_มัน_จะ_ถูก_ทำลาย แต่_พวก_คุณ_จะ_ได้_รับ_ความ_รอด ซึ่ง_ทั้ง_หมด_นี้_มา_จาก_พระเจ้า

29 ที่_ผม_พูด_อย่าง_นี้_เพราะ_พระเจ้า_ไม่_ได้_ให้_คุณ_มี_สิทธิ์_แค่_มา_เชื่อ_ใน_พระคริสต์_เท่า_นั้น แต่_ให้_มา_ทน_ทุกข์_เพื่อ_พระองค์_ด้วย

30 ตอน_นี้_พวก_คุณ_กำลัง_ต่อสู้ ซึ่ง_ก็_เหมือน_กับ_ที่_คุณ_เคย_เห็น_ผม_ต้อง_ต่อสู้_เมื่อ_ก่อน และ_ยัง_ได้_ยิน_ว่า_ผม_กำลัง_ต่อสู้_อยู่_เดี๋ยว_นี้_ด้วย

Philippians 1

Thanksgiving

1 Paul and Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus,
To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,4 always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all,5 in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now.6  For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.7 For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.8 For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,10 so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ;11 having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

The Gospel Is Preached

12 Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel,13 so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole tpraetorian guard and to everyone else,14 and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear.15 Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from good will;16 the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel;17 the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition rather than from pure motives, thinking to cause me distress in my imprisonment.

18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice.
Yes, and I will rejoice,19 for I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,20 according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

To Live Is Christ

21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.22 But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose.23 But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;24 yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake.25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith,26 so that your proud confidence in me may abound in Christ Jesus through my coming to you again.

27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;28 in no way alarmed by your opponents-which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God.29 For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,30 experiencing the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
