Lettre aux Philippiens 4

1 Mes frères et mes sœurs très aimés, j’ai très envie de vous revoir. Vous êtes ma joie et vous me faites honneur. C’est pourquoi, amis très chers, restez fidèlement unis au Seigneur.
2 Évodie et Syntique, je vous le demande avec force, soyez d’accord entre vous en restant unies au Seigneur.
3 Et toi aussi qui travailles fidèlement avec moi, je te le demande, aide ces deux femmes. Elles ont lutté pour la Bonne Nouvelle avec moi, avec Clément et avec les autres frères qui travaillent avec moi. Leurs noms sont écrits dans le livre de la viet.
4 Soyez toujours dans la joie en étant unis au Seigneur ! Je le répète, soyez dans la joie !
5 Soyez bons avec tout le monde. Le Seigneur vient bientôt ! 6 Ne soyez inquiets de rien, mais demandez toujours à Dieu ce qu’il vous faut. Et quand vous priez, faites vos demandes avec un cœur reconnaissant.
7 Ainsi la paix de Dieu, qui dépasse tout ce que nous pouvons comprendre, gardera vos cœurs et vos pensées unis au Christ Jésus.
8 En tout cas, frères et sœurs, voici ce qui doit vous intéresser : tout ce qui est vrai et mérite d’être respecté, tout ce qui est juste et pur, tout ce qu’on peut aimer et approuver, tout ce qui est très bon et ce qui mérite des félicitations.
9 Faites ce que vous avez appris de moi, ce que vous avez reçu et entendu de moi, ce que vous m’avez vu faire. Et le Dieu qui donne la paix sera avec vous.Paul remercie les Philippiens pour leurs cadeaux
10 J’ai eu beaucoup de joie dans le Seigneur. En effet, finalement, vous avez pu montrer de nouveau votre intérêt pour moi. Cet intérêt, vous l’aviez, mais vous n’aviez pas eu l’occasion de le montrer. 11 Je ne dis pas cela parce que j’ai besoin de quelque chose ! Non, j’ai appris à me contenter de ce que j’ai. 12 Je sais vivre dans la pauvreté, je sais vivre dans la richesse. Toujours et partout, j’ai appris à être rassasié et à avoir faim, à vivre avec beaucoup et avec peu. 13 Je suis capable de tout cela grâce au Christ qui me rend fort.
14 Pourtant, vous avez bien fait de prendre part à mes souffrances.
15 Vous le savez, vous, mes amis de Philippes : quand on commençait à annoncer la Bonne Nouvelle, j’ai quitté la Macédoine. Et à ce moment-là, aucune autre Église ne s’est occupée de mon salaire et de mes dépenses, vous avez été les seuls à m’aider. 16 Déjà, quand j’étais à Thessalonique, vous m’avez envoyé plusieurs fois ce qui me manquait. 17 Cela ne veut pas dire que je cherche des cadeaux ! Ce que je cherche, c’est que vous en retiriez un bénéfice. 18 J’ai tout ce qu’il faut, et même plus ! J’ai reçu ce qu’Épafrodite m’a apporté de votre part, et maintenant, j’ai vraiment tout. Vos cadeaux sont comme une offrande agréable, un sacrifice que Dieu accepte et qui lui plaît. 19 Et mon Dieu vous donnera tout ce qui vous manque par le Christ Jésus, tellement sa gloire est grande.
20 Rendons gloire à Dieu notre Père pour toujours ! Amen !Salutations
21 Saluez dans le Christ Jésus tous ceux qui appartiennent à Dieu. Les frères et les sœurs qui sont avec moi vous saluent.
22 Tous les chrétiens vous saluent, surtout ceux qui travaillent au service de l’empereur.
23 Que le Seigneur Jésus-Christ vous bénisse !
PHILIPPIANS 4
1 Dear friends, I love you and long to see you. Please keep on being faithful to the Lord. You are my pride and joy.Paul Encourages //the Lord's Followers
2 Euodia and Syntyche, you belong to the Lord, so I beg you to stop arguing with each other.
3 And, my true partner, t I ask you to help them. These women have worked together with me and with Clement and with the others in spreading the good news. Their names are now written in the book of life.t
4 Always be glad because of the Lord! I will say it again: Be glad. 5 Always be gentle with others. The Lord will soon be here. 6 Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.
7 Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel.
8 Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.
9 You know the teachings I gave you, and you know what you heard me say and saw me do. So follow my example. And God, who gives peace, will be with you.Paul Gives Thanks //for the Gifts //He Was Given
10 The Lord has made me very grateful that at last you have thought about me once again. Actually, you were thinking about me all along, but you didn't have any chance to show it. 11 I am not complaining about having too little. I have learned to be satisfied witht whatever I have. 12 I know what it is to be poor or to have plenty, and I have lived under all kinds of conditions. I know what it means to be full or to be hungry, to have too much or too little.
13 Christ gives me the strength to face anything.
14 It was good of you to help me when I was having such a hard time. 15 t My friends at Philippi, you remember what it was like when I started preaching the good news in Macedonia.t After I left there, you were the only church that became my partner by giving blessings and by receiving them in return. 16 t Even when I was in Thessalonica, you helped me more than once.
17 I am not trying to get something from you, but I want you to receive the blessings that come from giving.
18 t I have been paid back everything, and with interest. I am completely satisfied with the gifts you sent with Epaphroditus. They are like a sweet-smelling offering or like the right kind of sacrifice that pleases God. 19 I pray that God will take care of all your needs with the wonderful blessings that come from Christ Jesus!
