Alegraos siempre en el Señor
1 Por eso, mis queridos hermanos, a quienes tanto deseo ver; amados míos, mi alegría y mi premio,t seguid así, firmes en el Señor.4. Exhortaciones (4.2-9)

2 Ruego a Evodia, y también a Síntique,t que se pongan de acuerdo como hermanas en el Señor.
3 Y a ti, mi fiel compañerot de trabajo, te pido que las ayudes, pues en el anuncio del evangelio lucharon a mi lado,t junto con Clementet y los otros que trabajaron conmigo. Sus nombres ya están escritos en el libro de la vida.tRecomendaciones generales
4 Alegraos siempre en el Señor. Os lo repito: ¡Alegraos!t
5 Que todos os conozcan como personas bondadosas. El Señor está cerca.t
6 No os aflijáis por nada,t sino presentadlo todo a Dios en oración. Pedidle, y también dadle gracias.t
7 Así Dios os dará su paz, que es más grande que todo cuanto el hombre puede comprender; y esa paz guardará vuestro corazón y vuestros pensamientos, porque estáis unidos a Cristo Jesús.tPensad en todo lo bueno
8 Por último, hermanos, pensad en todo lo verdadero, en todo lo que es digno de respeto, en todo lo recto, en todo lo puro, en todo lo agradable, en todo lo que tiene buena fama. Pensad en todo lo que es bueno y merece alabanza.t
9 Poned en práctica lo que os enseñé y las instrucciones que os di, lo que me oísteis decir y lo que me visteis hacer: hacedlo así, y el Dios de paz estará con vosotros.5. Agradecimientos (4.10-20)
10 Me alegro mucho en el Señor de que hayáis vuelto a pensar en mí. No quiero decir que me hubierais olvidado, sino que no teníais la oportunidad de ayudarme. 11 Y no lo digo porque esté necesitado, pues he aprendido a contentarme con lo que tengo. 12 Sé lo que es vivir en la pobreza y también sé lo que es vivir en la abundancia. He aprendido a hacer frente a cualquier situación, lo mismo a estar satisfecho que a pasar hambre, a tener de sobra que a carecer de todo. 13 Y a todo puedo hacer frente, pues Cristo es quien me sostiene.
14 Sin embargo, hicisteis bien en compartir mis dificultades.
15 Cuando salí de Macedonia,t al comenzar a anunciar el evangelio, solo vosotros, los de la iglesia de Filipos, me enviasteis ofrendas de gratitud por la ayuda espiritual que habíais recibido.t 16 Pues incluso estando yo en Tesalónica, más de una vez me enviasteis ofrendas para cubrir mis necesidades.t 17 No es que solo piense en recibir; lo que quiero es que vosotros lleguéis a incrementar vuestra cuenta delante de Dios. 18 Pues yo ya lo he recibido todo,t y hasta tengo de sobra. Con lo que me enviasteis por medio de Epafrodito, tengo más que suficiente. Lo que me enviasteis fue como una ofrenda de incienso perfumado, como un sacrificio de olor agradable a Dios.t 19 Por lo tanto, mi Dios os dará todo lo que os falte, conforme a sus gloriosas riquezas en Cristo Jesús.
20 ¡Gloria para siempre a nuestro Dios y Padre! Amén.Conclusión (4.21-23)
21 Saludad de mi parte a todos los que pertenecen al pueblo santot por Jesucristo. Los hermanos que están conmigo os mandan saludos.
22 También os mandan saludos todos los que pertenecen al pueblo santo, y especialmente los del servicio del césar.t
23 Que nuestro Señor Jesucristo derrame su gracia sobre vosotros.
Philippians 4
Christian Practices
1 So then, my brothers and sisters,t dear friends whom I long to see, my joy and crown, stand in the Lord in this way, my dear friends!
2 I appeal to Euodia and to Syntyche to agree in the Lord.3 Yes, I say also to you, true companion,t help them. They have struggled together in the gospel ministryt along with me and Clement and my other coworkers, whose names are in the book of life.4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!5 Let everyone see your gentleness.t The Lord is near!6 Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and mindst in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters,t whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.
9 And what you learned and received and heard and saw in me, do these things. And the God of peace will be with you.
Appreciation for Support
10 I have great joy in the Lord because now at last you have again expressed your concern for me. (Now I know you were concerned before but had no opportunity to do anything.)t11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance.12 I have experienced times of need and times of abundance. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of contentment,t whether I go satisfied or hungry, have plenty or nothing.13 I am able to do all thingst through the ones who strengthens me.
14 Nevertheless, you did well to share with me in my trouble.
15 And as you Philippians know, at the beginning of my gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in this matter of giving and receiving except you alone.16 For even in Thessalonicas on more than one occasiont you sent something for my need.17 I do not say this because I am seeking a gift.t Rather, I seek the credit that abounds to your account.18 For I have received everything, and I have plenty. I have all I need because I received from Epaphroditus what you sent – a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, very pleasing to God.19 And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious richest in Christ Jesus.
20 May glory be given to God our Father forever and ever. Amen.

21 Give greetings to all the saints in Christ Jesus. The brotherst with me here send greetings.22 All the saints greet you, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household.
