ピリピ人への手紙 4

四

1 愛するクリスチャンの皆さん。　私はあなたがたに、ぜひ会いたいと願っています。　あなたがたは私の喜びであり、私の働きが結んだ実なのですから。　愛する皆さん。　どうかいつまでも、主に対して真実であってください。
2 ここで今、愛する二人の婦人ユウオデヤとスントケにお願いします。　どうか、主の助けによってけんかをやめ、もとどおり仲よくなってください。　3 私の真実の協力者である皆さん。　あなたがたにもお願いします。　彼女たちを助けてやってください。　キリスト様についての良い知らせを宣べ伝えるために、私と手を組んで働いてくれた人たちだからです。　それに、いのちの書に名前が記されているクレメンスやほかの協力者たちとも、力を合わせて働いてくれたのです。
4 いつも、主にあって喜びに満たされていなさい。　もう一度言います。　喜びなさい。　5 自己中心的でなく、思いやりにあふれていることを、だれからも認められますように。　主がもうすぐ来られると、いつも意識していなさい。　6 何事も心配してはなりません。　むしろ、どんなことでも祈りなさい。　神様にお願いしなさい。　そして、祈りに答えてくださる神様に感謝するのを、忘れてはなりません。　7 そうすれば、人間の理解をはるかに超えた、すばらしい神様の平安を経験できます。　キリスト・イエスに頼る時、その平安は、あなたがたの心と思いとを静め、安らかにしてくれるのです。
8 さて、皆さん、筆をおく前に、もう一つ申し上げたいことがあります。　真実なこと、良いこと、正しいことに注目しなさい。　きよいこと、愛すべきことについて思いめぐらし、他人の長所に目をとめなさい。　神様を喜び、賛美することばかりを考えなさい。　9 私から学んだこと、その行動から教えられたことがあれば、みな実行しなさい。　そうすれば、平和の神が、共にいてくださいます。
10 あなたがたが、また助けてくれるようになって、どんなに感謝し、また、主を賛美しているか知れません。　あなたがたはいつも、できるかぎりのものを私に送ろうと心がけていたのに、機会に恵まれなかったのです。　11 生活に困っていたから、こう言うのではありません。　私は、物が豊富にあろうとなかろうと、楽しく生きていくすべを学びました。　12 文なしの時にも、何でもそろっている時にも、どのように生活すべきか知っています。　満腹の時にも空腹の時にも、豊かな時にも貧しい時にも、どんな境遇でも満足する秘訣を身につけたのです。　13 なぜなら、力を与え、強めてくださるキリスト様に助けられて、私は、神様の要求を、何でも成し遂げることができるからです。　14 しかし、それにしても、よくぞ今、困難な状況下にある私を助けてくれました。
15 よくご存じのとおり、キリスト様についての良い知らせを携え、初めてあなたがたを訪問した私が、その後マケドニヤを離れて他の地方に向かった時、物をやり取りして協力してくれたのは、あなたがたピリピの教会だけでした。　ほかに、そんな教会はありませんでした。　16 テサロニケ滞在中でさえ、二度までも、物資を援助してくれました。　17 贈り物を感謝するのはもちろんのこと、何よりもうれしいのは、その親切な行ないのゆえにあなたがたが受ける、豊かな報いのことです。
18 今のところ、必要な物は何でもそろっています。　それどころか、必要以上に満たされています。　エパフロデトにことづけてくれた贈り物をいただいて、十分すぎるほどです。　その贈り物は、神様が喜んで受け入れてくださる、香ばしいかおりの供え物です。　19 この神様は、キリスト・イエスが成し遂げてくださったことに基づいて、ご自身の栄光の富の中から、あなたがたに必要なものをすべて満たしてくださる方です。　20 父なる神に、栄光が、とこしえに限りなくありますように。　アーメン。

21 そちらのクリスチャン全員によろしくお伝えください。　こちらにいる兄弟たち（信仰を同じくする人々）がよろしくとのことです。　22 また、他のクリスチャンもみな、特にカイザル（ローマ皇帝）の宮廷に仕えている人々が、よろしくと言っています。　23 どうか、主イエス・キリストの祝福が、あなたがたの霊と共にありますように。

Philippians 4

1 Wherefore, my brethren beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my beloved.2 I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to be of the same mind in the Lord.3 Yea, I beseech thee also, true yokefellow, help these women, for they labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow-workers, whose names are in the book of life.4 Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say, Rejoice.5 Let your forbearance be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.9 The things which ye both learned and received and heard and saw in me, these things do: and the God of peace shall be with you.10 But I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at length ye have revived your thought for me; wherein ye did indeed take thought, but ye lacked opportunity.11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therein to be content.12 I know how to be abased, and I know also how to abound: in everything and in all things have I learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want.13 I can do all things in him that strengtheneth me.14 Howbeit ye did well that ye had fellowship with my affliction.15 And ye yourselves also know, ye Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church had fellowship with me in the matter of giving and receiving but ye only;16 for even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my need.17 Not that I seek for the gift; but I seek for the fruit that increaseth to your account.18 But I have all things, and abound: I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, and odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.19 And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.20 Now unto our God and Father be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren that are with me salute you.22 All the saints salute you, especially they that are of Caesar’s household.23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
