Filipeni 4

1 De aceea, frații mei preaiubiți și dragi, bucuria și cununa mea, preaiubiților, rămâneți fermi în Domnul!

Îndemnuri

2 Le îndemn pe Evodia și pe Sintichia să aibă același gând în Domnul!3 Ție, credincios slujitor împreună cu minet, îți cer să le ajuți pe aceste femei! Ele s-au ostenit alături de mine la răspândirea Evangheliei, împreună cu Clement și cu ceilalți conlucrători cu mine, ale căror nume sunt în cartea vieții.

4 Bucurați-vă totdeauna în Domnul! Vă spun din nou: bucurați-vă!5 Blândețea voastră să fie cunoscută de toți oamenii! Domnul este aproape.6 Nu vă îngrijorați de nimic, ci, în orice lucru, prin rugăciune și cerere, cu mulțumire, faceți cunoscute cererile voastre înaintea lui Dumnezeu.7 Iar pacea lui Dumnezeu, care depășește orice înțelegere, vă va păzi inimile și gândurile în Cristos Isus.

8 În cele din urmă, fraților, tot ce este adevărat, tot ce este nobil, tot ce este drept, tot ce este curat, tot ce este plăcut, tot ce este vrednic de admirat, orice faptă măreață, orice este vrednic de laudă, la acestea să vă gândiți!9 Ceea ce ați învățat, ați primit, ați auzit și ați văzut în mine, aceea să faceți! Iar Dumnezeul păcii va fi cu voi.

Mulțumire pentru daruri

10 M-am bucurat mult în Domnul că acum, din nou, v-ați gândit la mine. Într-adevăr, voi ați fost preocupați de mine, însă n-ați avut ocazia să arătați aceasta.11 Nu din cauza unei nevoi vă spun aceasta, pentru că eu am învățat să fiu mulțumit în orice împrejurare m-aș afla.12 Știu ce înseamnă să fii sărac și știu ce înseamnă să ai din belșug. Am învățat secretul de a fi mulțumit în orice situație – fie sătul, fie flămând, fie în belșug, fie în nevoie.13 Pot totul în Cristos, Care mă întărește.14 Însă ați făcut bine că ați luat parte cu mine în necaz.

15 Voi știți, filipenilor, că în primele zile ale predicării Evangheliei, când am plecat din Macedonia, nici o biserică n-a fost alături de mine în ce privește darea și primirea, în afară de voi.16 În Tesalonic mi-ați trimis de mai multe ori ajutor pentru nevoile mele.17 Nu că eu umblu după daruri, ci eu umblu după câștigul care este în folosul vostru.18 Am primit de toate și sunt în belșug. Sunt foarte mulțumit că am primit de la Epafrodit darurile pe care mi le-ați trimis. Ele sunt o aromă plăcut mirositoare, o jertfă bine primită, plăcută lui Dumnezeu.19 Dumnezeul meu va împlini toate nevoile voastre, potrivit cu bogăția Lui slăvită, în Cristos Isus.20 A Dumnezeului și Tatălui nostru să fie slava, în vecii vecilor! Amin.

21 Salutați-i pe toți sfinții în Cristos Isus! Frații care sunt cu mine vă salută.22 Toți sfinții vă salută, mai ales cei din casa Cezaruluit.23 Harul Domnului Isus Cristos să fie cu duhul vostru! (Amin.)t

1 Dear friends, I love you and long to see you. Please keep on being faithful to the Lord. You are my pride and joy.

Paul Encourages //the Lord's Followers

3 And, my true partner, t I ask you to help them. These women have worked together with me and with Clement and with the others in spreading the good news. Their names are now written in the book of life.t
4 Always be glad because of the Lord! I will say it again: Be glad. 5 Always be gentle with others. The Lord will soon be here. 6 Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.

7 Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel.
8 Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.

9 You know the teachings I gave you, and you know what you heard me say and saw me do. So follow my example. And God, who gives peace, will be with you.

Paul Gives Thanks //for the Gifts //He Was Given

13 Christ gives me the strength to face anything.
14 It was good of you to help me when I was having such a hard time. 15 t My friends at Philippi, you remember what it was like when I started preaching the good news in Macedonia.t After I left there, you were the only church that became my partner by giving blessings and by receiving them in return. 16 t Even when I was in Thessalonica, you helped me more than once.

17 I am not trying to get something from you, but I want you to receive the blessings that come from giving.
18  t I have been paid back everything, and with interest. I am completely satisfied with the gifts you sent with Epaphroditus. They are like a sweet-smelling offering or like the right kind of sacrifice that pleases God. 19 I pray that God will take care of all your needs with the wonderful blessings that come from Christ Jesus!

20 May God our Father be praised forever and ever. Amen.
