1 بنابراین، ای بردران عزیز و مورد اشتیاق من و شادی و تاج من، به همینطور در خداونداستوار باشیدای عزیزان.2 از افودیه استدعا دارم و به سنتیخی التماس دارم که در خداوند یک رای باشند.3 و از تو نیزای همقطار خالص خواهش میکنم که ایشان را امداد کنی، زیرا درجهاد انجیل با من شریک میبودند با اکلیمنتس نیز و سایر همکاران من که نام ایشان در دفترحیاتاست.4 در خداوند دائم شاد باشید. و باز میگویم شاد باشید.5 اعتدال شما بر جمیع مردم معروف بشود. خداوند نزدیک است.6 برای هیچچیزاندیشه مکنید، بلکه در هرچیز با صلات و دعا باشکرگزاری مسولات خود را به خدا عرض کنید.7 و سلامتی خدا که فوق از تمامی عقل است، دلها و ذهنهای شما را در مسیح عیسی نگاه خواهد داشت.8 خلاصهای برادران، هرچه راست باشد وهرچه مجید و هرچه عادل و هرچه پاک و هرچه جمیل و هرچه نیک نام است و هر فضیلت و هرمدحی که بوده باشد، در آنها تفکر کنید.9 و آنچه در من آموخته و پذیرفته و شنیده و دیدهاید، آنهارا بعمل آرید، و خدای سلامتی با شما خواهدبود.10 و در خداوند بسیار شاد گردیدم که الان آخر، فکر شما برای من شکوفه آورد و در این نیزتفکر میکردید، لیکن فرصت نیافتید.11 نه آنکه درباره احتیاج سخن میگویم، زیرا که آموختهام که در هر حالتی که باشم، قناعت کنم.12 و ذلت رامی دانم و دولتمندی را هم میدانم، در هرصورت و در همهچیز، سیری و گرسنگی ودولتنمدی و افلاس را یاد گرفتهام.13 قوت هرچیز را دارم در مسیح که مرا تقویت میبخشد.14 لیکن نیکویی کردید که در تنگی من شریک شدید.15 اماای فیلیپیان شما هم آگاهید که درابتدای انجیل، چون از مکادونیه روانه شدم، هیچ کلیسا در امر دادن و گرفتن با من شراکت نکرد جزشما و بس.16 زیرا که در تسالونیکی هم یک دودفعه برای احتیاج من فرستادید.17 نه آنکه طالب بخشش باشم، بلکه طالب ثمری هستم که به حساب شما بیفزاید.18 ولی همهچیز بلکه بیشتر از کفایت دارم. پر گشتهام چونکه هدایای شما را از اپفردتس یافتهام که عطر خوشبوی و قربانی مقبول و پسندیده خداست.19 اماخدای من همه احتیاجات شما را برحسب دولت خود در جلال در مسیح عیسی رفع خواهد نمود.20 و خدا و پدر ما را تا ابدالابادجلال باد. آمین.21 هر مقدس را در مسیح عیسی سلام برسانید. و برادرانی که با من میباشند به شماسلام میفرستند.22 جمیع مقدسان به شما سلام میرسانند، علی الخصوص آنانی که از اهل خانه قیصر هستند.

1 Dear friends, I love you and long to see you. Please keep on being faithful to the Lord. You are my pride and joy.Paul Encourages //the Lord's Followers
2 Euodia and Syntyche, you belong to the Lord, so I beg you to stop arguing with each other.
3 And, my true partner, t I ask you to help them. These women have worked together with me and with Clement and with the others in spreading the good news. Their names are now written in the book of life.t
4 Always be glad because of the Lord! I will say it again: Be glad. 5 Always be gentle with others. The Lord will soon be here. 6 Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.
7 Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel.
8 Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.
9 You know the teachings I gave you, and you know what you heard me say and saw me do. So follow my example. And God, who gives peace, will be with you.Paul Gives Thanks //for the Gifts //He Was Given
10 The Lord has made me very grateful that at last you have thought about me once again. Actually, you were thinking about me all along, but you didn't have any chance to show it. 11 I am not complaining about having too little. I have learned to be satisfied witht whatever I have. 12 I know what it is to be poor or to have plenty, and I have lived under all kinds of conditions. I know what it means to be full or to be hungry, to have too much or too little.
13 Christ gives me the strength to face anything.
14 It was good of you to help me when I was having such a hard time. 15 t My friends at Philippi, you remember what it was like when I started preaching the good news in Macedonia.t After I left there, you were the only church that became my partner by giving blessings and by receiving them in return. 16 t Even when I was in Thessalonica, you helped me more than once.
17 I am not trying to get something from you, but I want you to receive the blessings that come from giving.
18 t I have been paid back everything, and with interest. I am completely satisfied with the gifts you sent with Epaphroditus. They are like a sweet-smelling offering or like the right kind of sacrifice that pleases God. 19 I pray that God will take care of all your needs with the wonderful blessings that come from Christ Jesus!
