Regocíjense en el Señor siempre
1 Así que, hermanos míos, amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, ¡manténganse firmes en el Señor, amados!
2 Ruego a Evodia y a Síntique, que se pongan de acuerdo en el Señor.3 También a ti, mi compañero fiel, te ruego que ayudes a éstas que lucharon conmigo en el evangelio, junto con Clemente y mis otros colaboradores, cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.
4 Regocíjense en el Señor siempre. Y otra vez les digo, ¡regocíjense!5 Que la gentileza de ustedes sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.6 No se preocupen por nada. Que sus peticiones sean conocidas delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con acción de gracias,7 Y que la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, guarde sus corazones y sus pensamientos en Cristo Jesús.
Piensen en todo esto
8 Por lo demás, hermanos, piensen en todo lo que es verdadero, en todo lo honesto, en todo lo justo, en todo lo puro, en todo lo amable, en todo lo que es digno de alabanza; si hay en ello alguna virtud, si hay algo que admirar, piensen en ello.9 Lo que ustedes aprendieron y recibieron de mí; lo que de mí vieron y oyeron, pónganlo por obra, y el Dios de paz estará con ustedes.
Dádivas de los filipenses
10 Grande ha sido mi gozo en el Señor de que al fin han reanudado ustedes su cuidado por mí. Claro, la disposición la tenían, pero les faltaba la oportunidad.11 No lo digo porque tenga escasez, pues he aprendido a estar contento en cualquier situación.12 Sé vivir con limitaciones, y también sé tener abundancia; en todo y por todo estoy enseñado, tanto para estar satisfecho como para tener hambre, lo mismo para tener abundancia que para sufrir necesidad;13 ¡todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece!
14 Sin embargo, hicieron bien en participar conmigo en mi tribulación.15 Y bien saben ustedes, hermanos filipenses, que al principio de la predicación del evangelio, cuando partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia participó conmigo en cuestiones de dar y recibir, sino sólo ustedes.16 Incluso a Tesalónicat una y otra vez ustedes me enviaron para cubrir mis necesidades.t17 No es que yo busque dádivas. Lo que busco es que abunde fruto en la cuenta de ustedes.18 Pero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia. Estoy lleno, y he recibido de Epafrodito lo que ustedes me enviaron: sacrificio aceptable, de olor fragantet y agradable a Dios.19 Así que mi Dios suplirá todo lo que les falte, conforme a sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.20 A nuestro Dios y Padre sea la gloria, por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
Salutaciones finales
21 Saluden a todos los santos en Cristo Jesús. Los hermanos que están conmigo les mandan saludos.22 Todos los santos los saludan, y especialmente los de la casa de César.
23 La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos ustedes. Amén.

1 Dear friends, I love you and long to see you. Please keep on being faithful to the Lord. You are my pride and joy.Paul Encourages //the Lord's Followers
2 Euodia and Syntyche, you belong to the Lord, so I beg you to stop arguing with each other.
3 And, my true partner, t I ask you to help them. These women have worked together with me and with Clement and with the others in spreading the good news. Their names are now written in the book of life.t
4 Always be glad because of the Lord! I will say it again: Be glad. 5 Always be gentle with others. The Lord will soon be here. 6 Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.
7 Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel.
8 Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.
9 You know the teachings I gave you, and you know what you heard me say and saw me do. So follow my example. And God, who gives peace, will be with you.Paul Gives Thanks //for the Gifts //He Was Given
10 The Lord has made me very grateful that at last you have thought about me once again. Actually, you were thinking about me all along, but you didn't have any chance to show it. 11 I am not complaining about having too little. I have learned to be satisfied witht whatever I have. 12 I know what it is to be poor or to have plenty, and I have lived under all kinds of conditions. I know what it means to be full or to be hungry, to have too much or too little.
13 Christ gives me the strength to face anything.
14 It was good of you to help me when I was having such a hard time. 15 t My friends at Philippi, you remember what it was like when I started preaching the good news in Macedonia.t After I left there, you were the only church that became my partner by giving blessings and by receiving them in return. 16 t Even when I was in Thessalonica, you helped me more than once.
17 I am not trying to get something from you, but I want you to receive the blessings that come from giving.
18 t I have been paid back everything, and with interest. I am completely satisfied with the gifts you sent with Epaphroditus. They are like a sweet-smelling offering or like the right kind of sacrifice that pleases God. 19 I pray that God will take care of all your needs with the wonderful blessings that come from Christ Jesus!
