Salmos 119

1 ¡Cuán bienaventurados son los de camino perfecto, los que andan en la ley del Señor!2 ¡Cuán bienaventurados son los que guardan sus testimonios, y con todo el corazón le buscan!3 No cometen iniquidad, sino que andan en sus caminos.4 Tú has ordenado tus preceptos, para que los guardemos con diligencia.5 ¡Ojalá mis caminos sean afirmados para guardar tus estatutos!6 Entonces no seré avergonzado, al considerar todos tus mandamientos.7 Con rectitud de corazón te daré gracias, al aprender tus justos juicios.

8 Tus estatutos guardaré; no me dejes en completo desamparo.
9 ¿Cómo puede el joven guardar puro su camino? Guardando tu palabra.10 Con todo mi corazón te he buscado; no dejes que me desvíe de tus mandamientos.11 En mi corazón he atesorado tu palabra, para no pecar contra ti.12 Bendito tú, oh Señor; enséñame tus estatutos.13 He contado con mis labios de todas las ordenanzas de tu boca.14 Me he gozado en el camino de tus testimonios, más que en todas las riquezas.15 Meditaré en tus preceptos, y consideraré tus caminos.

16 Me deleitaré en tus estatutos, y no olvidaré tu palabra.
17 Favorece a tu siervo, para que viva y guarde tu palabra.18 Abre mis ojos, para que vea las maravillas de tu ley.19 Peregrino soy en la tierra, no escondas de mí tus mandamientos.20 Quebrantada está mi alma anhelando tus ordenanzas en todo tiempo.21 Tú reprendes a los soberbios, los malditos, que se desvían de tus mandamientos.22 Quita de mí el oprobio y el desprecio, porque yo guardo tus testimonios.23 Aunque los príncipes se sienten y hablen contra mí, tu siervo medita en tus estatutos.

24 También tus testimonios son mi deleite; ellos son mis consejeros.
25 Postrada está mi alma en el polvo; vivifícame conforme a tu palabra.26 De mis caminos te conté, y tú me has respondido; enséñame tus estatutos.27 Hazme entender el camino de tus preceptos, y meditaré en tus maravillas.28 De tristeza llora mi alma; fortaléceme conforme a tu palabra.29 Quita de mí el camino de la mentira, y en tu bondad concédeme tu ley.30 He escogido el camino de la verdad; he puesto tus ordenanzas delante de mí. 31 Me apego a tus testimonios; Señor, no me avergüences.

32 Por el camino de tus mandamientos correré, porque tú ensancharás mi corazón.
33 Enséñame, oh Señor, el camino de tus estatutos, y lo guardaré hasta el fin.34 Dame entendimiento para que guarde tu ley y la cumpla de todo corazón.35 Hazme andar por la senda de tus mandamientos, porque en ella me deleito.36 Inclina mi corazón a tus testimonios y no a la ganancia deshonesta.37 Aparta mis ojos de mirar la vanidad, y vivifícame en tus caminos.38 Confirma a tu siervo tu palabra, que inspira reverencia por ti.39 Quita de mí el oprobio que me causa temor, porque tus juicios son buenos.

40 He aquí, anhelo tus preceptos; vivifícame por tu justicia.
41 Venga también a mí tu misericordia, oh Señor, tu salvación, conforme a tu palabra.42 Y tendré respuesta para el que me afrenta, pues confío en tu palabra.43 No quites jamás de mi boca la palabra de verdad, porque yo espero en tus ordenanzas.44 Y guardaré continuamente tu ley, para siempre y eternamente.45 Y andaré en libertad, porque busco tus preceptos.46 Hablaré también de tus testimonios delante de reyes, y no me avergonzaré.47 Y me deleitaré en tus mandamientos, los cuales amo.

48 Levantaré mis manos a tus mandamientos, los cuales amo, y meditaré en tus estatutos.
49 Acuérdate de la palabra dada a tu siervo, en la cual me has hecho esperar.50 Este es mi consuelo en la aflicción: que tu palabra me ha vivificado.51 Los soberbios me insultaron en gran manera, sin embargo, no me he apartado de tu ley.52 Me acuerdo de tus ordenanzas antiguas, oh Señor, y me consuelo.53 Profunda indignación se ha apoderado de mí por causa de los impíos que abandonan tu ley.54 Cánticos para mí son tus estatutos en la casa de mi peregrinación.55 Por la noche me acuerdo de tu nombre, oh Señor, y guardo tu ley.

56 Esto se ha hecho parte de mí: guardar tus preceptos.

64 La tierra, oh Señor, está llena de tu misericordia; enséñame tus estatutos.
65 Bien has obrado con tu siervo, oh Señor, conforme a tu palabra.66 Enséñame buen juicio y conocimiento, pues creo en tus mandamientos.67 Antes que fuera afligido, yo me descarrié, mas ahora guardo tu palabra.68 Bueno eres tú, y bienhechor; enséñame tus estatutos.69 Los soberbios han forjado mentira contra mí, pero de todo corazón guardaré tus preceptos.70 Su corazón está cubierto de grasa, pero yo me deleito en tu ley.71 Bueno es para mí ser afligido, para que aprenda tus estatutos.

72 Mejor es para mí la ley de tu boca que millares de piezas de oro y de plata.
73 Tus manos me hicieron y me formaron; dame entendimiento para que aprenda tus mandamientos.74 Que los que te temen, me vean y se alegren, porque espero en tu palabra.75 Yo sé, Señor, que tus juicios son justos, y que en tu fidelidad me has afligido.76 Sea ahora tu misericordia para consuelo mío, conforme a tu promesa dada a tu siervo.77 Venga a mí tu compasión, para que viva, porque tu ley es mi deleite.78 Sean avergonzados los soberbios, porque me agravian con mentira; pero yo en tus preceptos meditaré.79 Vuélvanse a mí los que te temen y conocen tus testimonios.

80 Sea íntegro mi corazón en tus estatutos, para que no sea yo avergonzado.
81 Mi alma desfallece por tu salvación; en tu palabra espero.82 Mis ojos desfallecen esperando tu palabra, mientras digo: ¿Cuándo me consolarás?83 Aunque he llegado a ser como odre al humo, no me olvido de tus estatutos.84 ¿Cuántos son los días de tu siervo? ¿Cuándo harás juicio contra mis perseguidores?85 Fosas me han cavado los soberbios, los que no están de acuerdo con tu ley.86 Todos tus mandamientos son fieles; con mentira me han perseguido; ¡ayúdame!87 Casi me destruyen en la tierra, mas yo no abandoné tus preceptos.

88 Vivifícame conforme a tu misericordia, para que guarde el testimonio de tu boca.
89 Para siempre, oh Señor, tu palabra está firme en los cielos.90 Tu fidelidad permanece por todas las generaciones; tú estableciste la tierra, y ella permanece.91 Por tus ordenanzas permanecen hasta hoy, pues todas las cosas te sirven.92 Si tu ley no hubiera sido mi deleite, entonces habría perecido en mi aflicción.93 Jamás me olvidaré de tus preceptos, porque por ellos me has vivificado.94 Tuyo soy, Señor, sálvame, pues tus preceptos he buscado.95 Los impíos me esperan para destruirme; tus testimonios consideraré.

96 He visto un límite a toda perfección; tu mandamiento es sumamente amplio.
97 ¡Cuánto amo tu ley! Todo el día es ella mi meditación.98 Tus mandamientos me hacen más sabio que mis enemigos, porque son míos para siempre.99 Tengo más discernimiento que todos mis maestros, porque tus testimonios son mi meditación.100 Entiendo más que los ancianos, porque tus preceptos he guardado.101 De todo mal camino he refrenado mis pies, para guardar tu palabra.102 No me he desviado de tus ordenanzas, porque tú me has enseñado.103 ¡Cuán dulces son a mi paladar tus palabras!, más que la miel a mi boca.

104 De tus preceptos recibo entendimiento, por tanto aborrezco todo camino de mentira.
105 Lámpara es a mis pies tu palabra, y luz para mi camino.106 He jurado, y lo confirmaré, que guardaré tus justas ordenanzas.107 Estoy profundamente afligido; Señor, vivifícame conforme a tu palabra.108 Te ruego aceptes las ofrendas voluntarias de mi boca, oh Señor, y enséñame tus ordenanzas.109 En peligro continuo está mi vida, con todo, no me olvido de tu ley.110 Los impíos me han tendido lazo, pero no me he desviado de tus preceptos.111 Tus testimonios he tomado como herencia para siempre, porque son el gozo de mi corazón.

112 He inclinado mi corazón para cumplir tus estatutos por siempre, y hasta el fin.
113 Aborrezco a los hipócritas, empero amo tu ley.114 Tú eres mi escondedero y mi escudo; en tu palabra espero.115 Apartaos de mí, malhechores, para que guarde yo los mandamientos de mi Dios.116 Sostenme conforme a tu promesa, para que viva, y no dejes que me avergüence de mi esperanza.117 Sostenme, para estar seguro, y que continuamente preste atención a tus estatutos.118 Has rechazado a todos los que se desvían de tus estatutos, porque su engaño es en vano.119  Como escoria has quitado de la tierra a todos los impíos, por tanto amo tus testimonios.

120 Mi carne se estremece por temor a ti, y de tus juicios tengo miedo.
121 He practicado el juicio y la justicia; no me abandones a mis opresores.122 Sé fiador de tu siervo para bien; que no me opriman los soberbios.123 Desfallecen mis ojos por tu salvación, y por la promesa de tu justicia.124 Haz con tu siervo según tu misericordia, y enséñame tus estatutos.125 Yo soy tu siervo, dame entendimiento para que conozca tus testimonios.126 Es tiempo de que actúe el Señor, porque han quebrantado tu ley.127 Por tanto, amo tus mandamientos más que el oro, sí, más que el oro fino.

128 Por tanto, estimo rectos todos tus preceptos acerca de todas las cosas, y aborrezco todo camino de mentira.
129 Maravillosos son tus testimonios, por lo que los guarda mi alma.130 La exposición de tus palabras imparte luz; da entendimiento a los sencillos.131 Abrí mi boca y suspiré, porque anhelaba tus mandamientos.132 Vuélvete a mí y tenme piedad, como acostumbras con los que aman tu nombre.133 Afirma mis pasos en tu palabra, y que ninguna iniquidad me domine.134 Rescátame de la opresión del hombre, para que yo guarde tus preceptos.135 Haz resplandecer tu rostro sobre tu siervo, y enséñame tus estatutos.

136 Ríos de lágrimas vierten mis ojos, porque ellos no guardan tu ley.
137 Justo eres tú, Señor, y rectos tus juicios.138 Has ordenado tus testimonios con justicia, y con suma fidelidad.139 Mi celo me ha consumido, porque mis adversarios han olvidado tus palabras.140 Es muy pura tu palabra, y tu siervo la ama.141 Pequeño soy, y despreciado, mas no me olvido de tus preceptos.142 Tu justicia es justicia eterna, y tu ley verdad.143 Angustia y aflicción han venido sobre mí, mas tus mandamientos son mi deleite.

144 Tus testimonios son justos para siempre; dame entendimiento para que yo viva.
145 He clamado con todo mi corazón; ¡respóndeme, Señor! Guardaré tus estatutos.146 A ti clamé; sálvame, y guardaré tus testimonios.147 Me anticipo al alba y clamo; en tus palabras espero.148 Mis ojos se anticipan a las vigilias de la noche, para meditar en tu palabra.149 Oye mi voz conforme a tu misericordia; vivifícame, oh Señor, conforme a tus ordenanzas.150 Se me acercan los que siguen la maldad; lejos están de tu ley.151 Tú estás cerca, Señor, y todos tus mandamientos son verdad.

152 Desde hace tiempo he sabido de tus testimonios, que para siempre los has fundado.
153 Mira mi aflicción y líbrame, porque no me olvido de tu ley.154 Defiende mi causa y redímeme; vivifícame conforme a tu palabra.155 Lejos está de los impíos la salvación, porque no buscan tus estatutos.156 Muchas son, oh Señor, tus misericordias; vivifícame conforme a tus ordenanzas.157 Muchos son mis perseguidores y mis adversarios, pero yo no me aparto de tus testimonios.158 Veo a los pérfidos y me repugnan, porque no guardan tu palabra.159 Mira cuánto amo tus preceptos; vivifícame, Señor, conforme a tu misericordia.

160 La suma de tu palabra es verdad, y cada una de tus justas ordenanzas es eterna.
161 Príncipes me persiguen sin causa, pero mi corazón teme tus palabras.162 Me regocijo en tu palabra, como quien halla un gran botín.163 Aborrezco y desprecio la mentira, pero amo tu ley.164 Siete veces al día te alabo, a causa de tus justas ordenanzas.165 Mucha paz tienen los que aman tu ley, y nada los hace tropezar.166 Espero tu salvación, Señor, y cumplo tus mandamientos.167 Mi alma guarda tus testimonios, y en gran manera los amo.

168 Guardo tus preceptos y tus testimonios, porque todos mis caminos están delante de ti.

who obey the law of the Lord.

2 How blessed are those who observe his rules,
and seek him with all their heart,

but follow in his footsteps.

4 You demand that your precepts
be carefully kept.

5 If only I were predisposed
to keep your statutes!

6 Then I would not be ashamed,
if I were focused on all your commands.

7 I will give you sincere thanks,
when I learn your just regulations.

8 I will keep your statutes.

9 How can a young person maintain a pure life?
By guarding it according to your instructions!

10 With all my heart I seek you.

all the regulations you have revealed.

which violates your law.

86 All your commands are reliable.
I am pursued without reason. Help me!

87 They have almost destroyed me here on the earth,
but I do not reject your precepts.

88 Revive me with your loyal love,
that I might keep the rules you have revealed.

they stand secure in heaven.

You established the earth and it stood firm.

for they give me joy.

162 I rejoice in your instructions,
like one who finds much plunder.

163 I hate and despise deceit;
I love your law.

164 Seven times a day I praise you
because of your just regulations.

165 Those who love your law are completely secure;
nothing causes them to stumble.

166 I hope for your deliverance, O Lord,
and I obey your commands.

I love them greatly.

168 I keep your precepts and rules,
