Psalm 14

第14篇

1 愚かな者は心のうちに「神はない」と言う。彼らは腐れはて、憎むべき事をなし、善を行う者はない。2 主は天から人の子らを見おろして、賢い者、神をたずね求める者があるかないかを見られた。3 彼らはみな迷い、みなひとしく腐れた。善を行う者はない、ひとりもない。4 すべて悪を行う者は悟りがないのか。彼らは物食うようにわが民をくらい、また主を呼ぶことをしない。5 その時、彼らは大いに恐れた。神は正しい者のやからと共におられるからである。6 あなたがたは貧しい者の計画をはずかしめようとする。しかし主は彼の避け所である。7 どうか、シオンからイスラエルの救が出るように。主がその民の繁栄を回復されるとき、ヤコブは喜び、イスラエルは楽しむであろう。

Psalm 14

1 Fools say to themselves, “There is no God.”
They sin and commit evil deeds;
none of them does what is right.

2 The Lord looks down from heaven at the human race,
to see if there is anyone who is wise and seeks God.

3 Everyone rejects God;
they are all morally corrupt.
None of them does what is right,
not even one!

4 All those who behave wickedly do not understand –
those who devour my people as if they were eating bread,
and do not call out to the Lord.

5 They are absolutely terrified,
for God defends the godly.

6 You want to humiliate the oppressed,
even though the Lord is their shelter.

7 I wish the deliverance of Israel would come from Zion!
When the Lord restores the well-being of his people,
may Jacob rejoice,
may Israel be happy!
