Salmos 149

1 ¡Aleluya! Canten al Señor un cántico nuevo, Y Su alabanza en la congregación de los santos.2 Alégrese Israel en su Creador; Regocíjense los hijos de Sion en su Rey.3 Alaben Su nombre con danza; Y canten a El alabanza con pandero y lira.

4 Porque el Señor se deleita en Su pueblo; Adornará de salvación a los afligidos.
5 Regocíjense de gloria los santos; Canten con gozo sobre sus camas.6  Sean las alabanzas de Dios en su boca, Y una espada de dos filos en su mano,7 Para ejecutar venganza en las naciones Y castigo en los pueblos;8 Para atar a sus reyes con cadenas Y a sus nobles con grillos de hierro;9 Para ejecutar en ellos el juicio decretado: Esto es gloria para todos Sus santos. ¡Aleluya!

Salmo de Alabanza

Psalm 149

1 Praise the Lord!
Sing to the Lord a new song!
Praise him in the assembly of the godly!

2 Let Israel rejoice in their Creator!
Let the people of Zion delight in their king!

3 Let them praise his name with dancing!
Let them sing praises to him to the accompaniment of the tambourine and harp!

4 For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he exalts the oppressed by delivering them.

5 Let the godly rejoice because of their vindication!
Let them shout for joy upon their beds!

6 May they praise God
while they hold a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 in order to take revenge on the nations,
and punish foreigners.

8 They bind their kings in chains,
and their nobles in iron shackles,

9 and execute the judgment to which their enemies have been sentenced.
All his loyal followers will be vindicated.
