APOCALISSE 16

1 Ed io udii una gran voce dal tempio, che diceva a'~sette angelit; Andate, versate nella terra le coppe dell'ira di Diot.

2 E il primo andò, e versò la sua coppa in su la terrat; e venne un'ulcera maligna, e dolorosat, agli uomini che aveano il marchio della bestia, ed a quelli che adoravano la sua immaginet.

3 Poi, il secondo angelo versò la sua coppa nel maret; ed esso divenne sangue, come di corpo mortot; ed ogni anima vivente morì nel mare.
4 Poi, il terzo angelo versò la sua coppa ne'~fiumit, e nelle fonti dell'acque; e divennero sanguet. 5 Ed io udii l'angelo delle acque, che diceva: Tu sei giustot, o Signore, che sei, e che erit, che sei il Santo, d'aver fatti questi giudicii. 6 Poichè essi hanno sparso il sangue de'~santi, e de'~profetit, tu hai loro altresì dato a bere del sanguet; perciocchè ben ne son degni.

7 Ed io ne udii un altro, dal lato dell'altare, che diceva: Sì certo, Signore Iddio onnipotente, i tuoi giudicii son veraci, e giustit.
8 Poi, il quarto angelo versò la sua coppa sopra il solet; e gli fu dato d'ardere gli uomini con fuoco.

9 E gli uomini furono arsi di grande arsura; e bestemmiarono il nome di Diot, che ha la podestà sopra queste piaghe; e non si ravvidero, per dargli gloriat.
10 Poi, il quinto angelo versò la sua coppa in sul trono della bestiat; e il suo regno divenne tenebrosot, e gli uomini si mordevano le lingue per l'affanno;

11 e bestemmiarono l'Iddio del cielo, per i lor travagli, e per le loro ulcere; e non si ravvidero delle loro operet.
12 Poi, il sesto angelo versò la sua coppa in sul gran fiume Eufratet, e l'acqua di esso fu asciutta; acciocchè fosse apparecchiata la via dei re, che vengono dal sol levante. 13 Ed io vidi uscir della bocca del dragonet, e della bocca della bestiat, e della bocca del falso profetat, tre spiriti immondit, a guisa di rane; 14 perciocchè sono spiriti di demonit, i quali fan segnit, ed escon fuori ai re di tutto il mondo, per raunarli alla battaglia di quel gran giorno dell'Iddio onnipotentet. 15 (Ecco, io vengo come un ladrone; beato chi vegliat, e guarda i suoi vestimenti, acciocchè non cammini nudot, e non si veggano le sue vergogne).

16 Ed essi li raunarono in un luogot, detto in Ebreo Armagheddont.
17 Poi, il settimo angelo versò la sua coppa nell'aria; e una gran voce uscì dal tempio del cielo, dal trono, dicendo: È fattot. 18 E si fecero folgori, e tuoni, e suoni, e gran tremoto; tale che non ne fu giammai un simile, nè un così grande, da che gli uomini sono stati sopra la terra. 19 E la gran cittàt fu divisa in tre parti, e le città delle genti caddero; Dio si ricordò della gran Babilonia, per darle il calice dell'indegnazione della sua ira. 20 Ed ogni isola fuggì, e i monti non furon trovatit. 21 E cadde dal cielo, in su gli uomini, una gragnuola grossa come del peso d'un talento; e gli uomini bestemmiarono Iddiot per la piaga della gragnuolat; perciocchè la piaga d'essa era grandissima.

Revelation 16

The Bowls of God’s Wrath

1 Thent I heard a loud voice from the temple declaring to the seven angels: “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God’s wrath.”t

2 Sot the first angelt went and poured out his bowl on the earth. Thent ugly and painful sorest appeared on the peoplet who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.

3 Next,t the second angelt poured out his bowl on the sea and it turned into blood, like that of a corpse, and every living creature that was in the sea died.
4 Thent the third angelt poured out his bowl on the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into blood.

5 Nowt I heard the angel of the waters saying:
“You are justt – the one who is and who was,
the Holy One – because you have passed these judgments,t

6 because they poured out the blood of your saints and prophets,
sot you have given them blood to drink. They got what they deserved!”t

7 Thent I heard the altar reply,t “Yes, Lord God, the All-Powerful,t your judgments are true and just!”
8 Thent the fourth angelt poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was permitted to scorch peoplet with fire.

9 Thust peoplet were scorched by the terrible heat,t yett they blasphemed the name of God, who has ruling authorityt over these plagues, and they would not repent and give him glory.
10 Thent the fifth angelt poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast so thatt darkness covered his kingdom,t and peoplet began to bitet their tongues becauset of their pain.

11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their sufferingst and because of their sores,t but neverthelesst they still refused to repentt of their deeds.
12 Thent the sixth angelt poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates and dried up its watert to prepare the wayt for the kings from the east.t13 Thent I saw three unclean spiritss that looked like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of the demons performing signs who go out to the kings of the eartht to bring them together for the battle that will take place on the great day of God, the All-Powerful.t

15 (Look! I will come like a thief!
Blessed is the one who stays alert and does not loset his clothes so that he will not have to walk around naked and his shameful conditiont be seen.)s

16 Nowt the spiritst gathered the kings and their armiest to the place that is called Armageddonst in Hebrew.
17 Finallyt the seventh angelt poured out his bowl into the air and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying: “It is done!”18 Thent there were flashes of lightning, roaring,t and crashes of thunder, and there was a tremendous earthquake – an earthquake unequaled since humanityt has been on the earth, so tremendous was that earthquake.19 Thet great city was split into three parts and the cities of the nationst collapsed.t Sot Babylon the great was remembered before God, and was given the cupt filled with the wine made of God’s furious wrath.t20 Everyt island fled awayt and no mountains could be found.s

21 And gigantic hailstones, weighing about a hundred poundst each, fell from heavent on people,t but theyt blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, since itt was so horrendous.t
