APOKALIPSIA 16

1 Ahots handi bat entzun nuen, tenplutik zazpi aingeruei esaten: «Zoazte eta isuri lurraren gainera Jainkoaren haserre-zigorraren zazpi ontziak».t

2 Joan zen lehen aingerua eta isuri zuen lurraren gainera bere ontzia: zauri gaizto eta mingarria sortu zitzaien piztiaren marka zeukatenei eta haren irudia gurtzen zutenei.t

3 Bigarren aingeruak itsasoaren gainera isuri zuen bere ontzia: hildako baten odolaren antzeko bihurtu zen ura, eta itsasoko bizidun guztiak hil ziren.t

4 Hirugarrenak ibai eta iturburuetan isuri zuen bere ontzia: urak odol bihurtu ziren.

5 Eta uretako aingeruari entzun nion esaten:
«Zuzena zara eta justizia egin duzu,
Santu horrek,
zaren eta zinen horrek:t

6 fededun eta profeten odola
isuri zuten,
eta zuk odola eman diezu edaten.
Ez zuten besterik merezi!»t

7 Orduan, aldaretik esaten entzun nuen:
«Bai, Jauna, Jainko ahalguztiduna,
zure epaiak
egiazkoak eta zuzenak dira!»t
8 Laugarren aingeruak eguzkiaren gainera isuri zuen bere ontzia, eta gizon-emakumeak suz kiskaltzeko ahalmena eman zion.

9 Eguzkiaren bero izugarriz erre egin ziren gizon-emakumeak; baina, halere, zigor hauen gain agintea zuen Jainkoaren izena madarikatu zuten, damutu eta Jainkoak arrazoi zuela aitortu beharrean.t
10 Bosgarrenak piztiaren tronura isuri zuen bere ontzia, eta haren erreinua ilunpetan gelditu zen; jendeak, oinazearen oinazez, nork bere mihiari hozka egiten zion,t

11 eta oinaze eta zauriengatik zeruko Jainkoa madarikatzen hasi ziren, baina ez ziren beren egintzez damutu.t

12 Seigarrenak Eufrates ibai handiaren gainera isuri zuen bere ontzia, eta urak agortu egin ziren, horrela ekialdeko erregeentzat bidea prest utziz.t
13 Orduan, herensugearen, piztiaren eta sasiprofetaren ahotik zapo antzeko hiru espiritu higuingarri ateratzen ikusi nituen.

14 Espirituak mirariak egiten zituzten deabruak ziren, eta mundu osoko erregeengana jo zuten, Jainko ahalguztidunaren egun handiko borrokara biltzeko.t

15 Jaunak dio: «Hara, lapurra bezala nator. Zorionekoa erne eta jantzirik dagokeena! Ez du biluzik ibili beharrik izango eta ez dizkio inork lotsariak ikusiko».t

16 Hebreeraz Harmagedont deritzan tokian bildu zituzten munduko erregeak.

17 Zazpigarren aingeruak airean isuri zuen bere ontzia, eta zeruko tenpluko tronutik ahots handia atera zen esanez: «Egina dago».t
18 Orduan, tximistak, danbatekoak eta trumoiak izan ziren, baita lurrikara izugarria ere, gizakia lurrean bizi denetik izan ez den bezalako lurrikara handia.t

19 Hiri handia hiru zatitan lehertu zen eta munduko beste nazioetako hiriek lur jo zuten; orduan, Jainkoa Babilonia hiri handiaz oroitu zen, hari bere zigor-kopa, bere sumin-ardoz betea, edanarazteko.t

20 Uharte guztiek ihes egin zuten eta mendiak desagertu egin ziren.t
21 Egundoko kazkabar-aleak erori ziren zerutik gizon-emakumeen gainera, eta hauek madarikatu egin zuten Jainkoa kazkabar-izurriagatik, benetan zigor ikaragarria izan baitzen.t

Revelation 16

The Bowls of God’s Wrath

1 Thent I heard a loud voice from the temple declaring to the seven angels: “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God’s wrath.”t

2 Sot the first angelt went and poured out his bowl on the earth. Thent ugly and painful sorest appeared on the peoplet who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.

3 Next,t the second angelt poured out his bowl on the sea and it turned into blood, like that of a corpse, and every living creature that was in the sea died.
4 Thent the third angelt poured out his bowl on the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into blood.

5 Nowt I heard the angel of the waters saying:
“You are justt – the one who is and who was,
the Holy One – because you have passed these judgments,t

6 because they poured out the blood of your saints and prophets,
sot you have given them blood to drink. They got what they deserved!”t

7 Thent I heard the altar reply,t “Yes, Lord God, the All-Powerful,t your judgments are true and just!”
8 Thent the fourth angelt poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was permitted to scorch peoplet with fire.

9 Thust peoplet were scorched by the terrible heat,t yett they blasphemed the name of God, who has ruling authorityt over these plagues, and they would not repent and give him glory.
10 Thent the fifth angelt poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast so thatt darkness covered his kingdom,t and peoplet began to bitet their tongues becauset of their pain.

11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their sufferingst and because of their sores,t but neverthelesst they still refused to repentt of their deeds.
12 Thent the sixth angelt poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates and dried up its watert to prepare the wayt for the kings from the east.t13 Thent I saw three unclean spiritss that looked like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of the demons performing signs who go out to the kings of the eartht to bring them together for the battle that will take place on the great day of God, the All-Powerful.t

15 (Look! I will come like a thief!
Blessed is the one who stays alert and does not loset his clothes so that he will not have to walk around naked and his shameful conditiont be seen.)s

16 Nowt the spiritst gathered the kings and their armiest to the place that is called Armageddonst in Hebrew.
17 Finallyt the seventh angelt poured out his bowl into the air and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying: “It is done!”18 Thent there were flashes of lightning, roaring,t and crashes of thunder, and there was a tremendous earthquake – an earthquake unequaled since humanityt has been on the earth, so tremendous was that earthquake.19 Thet great city was split into three parts and the cities of the nationst collapsed.t Sot Babylon the great was remembered before God, and was given the cupt filled with the wine made of God’s furious wrath.t20 Everyt island fled awayt and no mountains could be found.s

21 And gigantic hailstones, weighing about a hundred poundst each, fell from heavent on people,t but theyt blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, since itt was so horrendous.t
