Cele șapte vase ale mâniei lui Dumnezeu

1 Am auzit un glas puternic spunându-le din Templu celor șapte îngeri: „Duceți-vă și vărsați pe pământ cele șapte vase ale mâniei lui Dumnezeu!“

2 Primul s-a dus și și-a vărsat vasul pe pământ. Și peste oamenii care aveau semnul fiarei și se închinaseră imaginii ei a venit o rană urâtă și dureroasă.

3 Al doilea și-a vărsat vasul în mare. Și ea s-a făcut ca sângele unui om mort, iar toate vietățile care erau în mare au murit.

4 Al treilea și-a vărsat vasul în râuri și în izvoarele apelor. Și ele s-au transformat în sânge.

5 L-am auzit pe îngerul apelor spunând:
„Tu ești drept – Tu , Cel Care ești și Care erai, Tu , Cel Sfânt –
pentru că ai judecat aceste lucrurit.

6 Fiindcă ei au vărsat sângele sfinților și al profeților,
le-ai dat și Tu să bea sânge!
Sunt vrednici de aceasta !“

7 Și am auzit altarul spunând:
„Da, Doamne, Dumnezeule Atotputernic,
judecățile Tale sunt adevărate și drepte!“

8 Al patrulea și-a vărsat vasul peste soare. Și soarelui i s-a dat să-i pârjolească pe oameni cu foc.9 Oamenii au fost pârjoliți de căldura lui arzătoare și au blasfemiat Numele lui Dumnezeu, Cel Care are autoritate peste aceste urgii. Și nu s-au pocăit și nu I-au dat slavă.

10 Al cincilea și-a vărsat vasul peste tronul fiarei. Și împărăția ei a fost acoperită de întuneric. Oamenii și-au mușcat limbile de durere11 și L-au blasfemiat pe Dumnezeul cerului din cauza durerilor și a bubelor lor. Și nu s-au pocăit de faptele lor.

12 Al șaselea și-a vărsat vasul peste Râul cel Mare, Eufratul. Și apa lui a secat, ca să fie pregătit drumul regilor de la răsărit.

13 Am văzut trei duhuri necurate, ca niște broaște, ieșind din gura balaurului, din gura fiarei și din gura profetului fals.14 Acestea sunt duhuri de demoni, care fac semne și se duc la regii întregii lumi ca să-i adune pentru războiul zilei celei mari a Dumnezeului Atotputernic.

15 „Iată, Eu vin ca un hoț. Fericet de cel ce veghează și își păzește hainele ca să nu umble gol, și oamenii să nu-i vadă rușinea.“

16 I-au adunat în locul numit în ebraică „ Armaghedon “t.

17 Al șaptelea și-a vărsat vasul în văzduh. Și din Templu, de la tron, s-a auzit un glas puternic spunând: „S-a terminat!“18 Au avut loc fulgere, sunetet și tunete și a fost un mare cutremur, un cutremur așa de mare cum n-a mai fost de când este omul pe pământ.19 Cetatea cea mare s-a rupt în trei părți, iar cetățile neamurilor s-au prăbușit. Dumnezeu Și-a amintit de marele Babilon ca să-i dea paharul cu vinul mâniei Lui aprinse.20 Orice insulă a dispărut, iar munții n-au mai fost găsiți.21 Din cer a căzut peste oameni o grindină mare, cu boabe care cântăreau aproape un talantt. Din cauza urgiei cu grindina, oamenii L-au blasfemiat pe Dumnezeu, pentru că fusese o urgie foarte grea.

REVELATION 16

The Bowls of God's Anger

1 From the temple I heard a voice shout to the seven angels, “Go and empty the seven bowls of God's anger on the earth.”

2  t The first angel emptied his bowl on the earth. At once ugly and painful sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped the idol.

3 The second angel emptied his bowl on the sea. At once the sea turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.
4  t The third angel emptied his bowl into the rivers and streams. At once they turned to blood.

5 Then I heard the angel, who has power over water, say,
“You have always been,
and you always will be
the holy God.
You had the right
to judge in this way.

6 They poured out the bloodt
of your people
and your prophets.
So you gave them blood
to drink as they deserve!”

7 After this, I heard
the altar shout,
“Yes, Lord God All-Powerful,
your judgments are honest
and fair.”
8 The fourth angel emptied his bowl on the sun, and it began to scorch people like fire.

9 Everyone was scorched by its great heat, and all of them cursed the name of God who had power over these terrible troubles. But no one turned to God and praised him.
10  t The fifth angel emptied his bowl on the throne of the beast. At once darkness covered its kingdom, and its people began biting their tongues in pain.

11 And because of their painful sores, they cursed the God who rules in heaven. But still they did not stop doing evil things.
12  t The sixth angel emptied his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it completely dried up to make a road for the kings from the east. 13 An evil spirit that looked like a frog came out of the mouth of the dragon. One also came out of the mouth of the beast, and another out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 These evil spirits had the power to work miracles. They went to every king on earth, to bring them together for a war against God All-Powerful. But that will be the day of God's great victory.

15  t Remember Christ says, “When I come, it will surprise you like a thief! But God will bless you, if you are awake and ready. Then you won't have to walk around naked and be ashamed.”

16  t Those armies came together in a place that in Hebrew is called Armagedon.t
17 As soon as the seventh angel emptied his bowl in the air, a loud voice from the throne in the temple shouted, “It's done!” 18 t There were flashes of lightning, roars of thunder, and the worst earthquake in all history. 19 t The great city of Babylon split into three parts, and the cities of other nations fell. So God made Babylon drink from the wine cup filled with his anger. 20 t Every island ran away, and the mountains disappeared. 21 t Hailstones, weighing about 50 kilograms each, fell from the sky on people. Finally, the people cursed God, because the hail was so terrible.
