مکاشفه 16

1 و آوازی بلند شنیدم که از میان قدس به آن هفت فرشته میگوید که «بروید، هفت پیاله غضب خدا را بر زمین بریزید.»2 و اولی رفته، پیاله خود را بر زمین ریخت ودمل زشت و بد بر مردمانی که نشان وحش دارندو صورت او را میپرستند، بیرون آمد.3 و دومین پیاله خود را به دریا ریخت که آن به خون مثل خون مرده مبدل گشت و هر نفس زنده از چیزهایی که در دریا بود بمرد.4 و سومین پیاله خود را در نهرها و چشمه های آب ریخت و خون شد.5 و فرشته آبها را شنیدم که میگوید: عادلی تو که هستی و بودیای قدوس، زیرا که چنین حکم کردی،6 چونکه خون مقدسین و انبیا را ریختند و بدیشان خون دادی که بنوشند زیرا که مستحقند.»7 و شنیدم که مذبح میگوید: «ای خداوند، خدای قادرمطلق، داوریهای تو حق و عدل است.»8 و چهارمین، پیاله خود را بر آفتاب ریخت؛ وبه آن داده شد که مردم را به آتش بسوزاند.9 ومردم به حرارت شدید سوخته شدند و به اسم آن خدا که بر این بلایا قدرت دارد، کفر گفتند و توبه نکردند تا او را تمجید نمایند.10 و پنجمین، پیاله خود را بر تخت وحش ریخت و مملکت او تاریک گشت و زبانهای خودرا از درد میگزیدند،11 و به خدای آسمان بهسبب دردها و دملهای خود کفر میگفتند و ازاعمال خود توبه نکردند.12 و ششمین، پیاله خود را بر نهر عظیم فرات ریخت و آبش خشکید تا راه پادشاهانی که ازمشرق آفتاب میآیند، مهیا شود.13 و دیدم که ازدهان اژدها و از دهان وحش و از دهان نبی کاذب، سه روح خبیث چون وزغها بیرون میآیند.14 زیرا که آنها ارواح دیوها هستند که معجزات ظاهر میسازند و بر پادشاهان تمام ربع مسکون خروج میکنند تا ایشان را برای جنگ آن روزعظیم خدای قادر مطلق فراهم آورند.15 «اینک چون دزد میآیم! خوشابحال کسیکه بیدار شده، رخت خود را نگاه دارد، مباداعریان راه رود و رسوایی او را ببینند.»16 و ایشان را به موضعی که آن را در عبرانی حارمجدون میخوانند، فراهم آوردند.17 و هفتمین، پیاله خود را بر هوا ریخت وآوازی بلند از میان قدس آسمان از تخت بدرآمده، گفت که «تمام شد.»18 و برقها و صداها ورعدها حادث گردید و زلزلهای عظیم شد آن چنانکه از حین آفرینش انسان بر زمین زلزلهای به این شدت و عظمت نشده بود.19 و شهر بزرگ به سه قسم منقسم گشت و بلدان امتها خراب شدو بابل بزرگ در حضور خدا بیاد آمد تا پیاله خمرغضب آلود خشم خود را بدو دهد.20 و هرجزیره گریخت و کوهها نایاب گشت،21 و تگرگ بزرگ که گویا به وزن یک من بود، از آسمان برمردم بارید و مردم بهسبب صدمه تگرگ، خدا راکفر گفتند زیرا که صدمهاش بینهایت سخت بود.

REVELATION 16

The Bowls of God's Anger

1 From the temple I heard a voice shout to the seven angels, “Go and empty the seven bowls of God's anger on the earth.”

2  t The first angel emptied his bowl on the earth. At once ugly and painful sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped the idol.

3 The second angel emptied his bowl on the sea. At once the sea turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.
4  t The third angel emptied his bowl into the rivers and streams. At once they turned to blood.

5 Then I heard the angel, who has power over water, say,
“You have always been,
and you always will be
the holy God.
You had the right
to judge in this way.

6 They poured out the bloodt
of your people
and your prophets.
So you gave them blood
to drink as they deserve!”

7 After this, I heard
the altar shout,
“Yes, Lord God All-Powerful,
your judgments are honest
and fair.”
8 The fourth angel emptied his bowl on the sun, and it began to scorch people like fire.

9 Everyone was scorched by its great heat, and all of them cursed the name of God who had power over these terrible troubles. But no one turned to God and praised him.
10  t The fifth angel emptied his bowl on the throne of the beast. At once darkness covered its kingdom, and its people began biting their tongues in pain.

11 And because of their painful sores, they cursed the God who rules in heaven. But still they did not stop doing evil things.
12  t The sixth angel emptied his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it completely dried up to make a road for the kings from the east. 13 An evil spirit that looked like a frog came out of the mouth of the dragon. One also came out of the mouth of the beast, and another out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 These evil spirits had the power to work miracles. They went to every king on earth, to bring them together for a war against God All-Powerful. But that will be the day of God's great victory.

15  t Remember Christ says, “When I come, it will surprise you like a thief! But God will bless you, if you are awake and ready. Then you won't have to walk around naked and be ashamed.”

16  t Those armies came together in a place that in Hebrew is called Armagedon.t
17 As soon as the seventh angel emptied his bowl in the air, a loud voice from the throne in the temple shouted, “It's done!” 18 t There were flashes of lightning, roars of thunder, and the worst earthquake in all history. 19 t The great city of Babylon split into three parts, and the cities of other nations fell. So God made Babylon drink from the wine cup filled with his anger. 20 t Every island ran away, and the mountains disappeared. 21 t Hailstones, weighing about 50 kilograms each, fell from the sky on people. Finally, the people cursed God, because the hail was so terrible.
