Objawienie św. Jana 16

1 I usłyszałem donośny głos ze świątyni mówiący do siedmiu aniołów: Idźcie i wylejcie siedem czasz gniewu Boga na ziemię.
2 I poszedł pierwszy, i wylał swoją czaszę na ziemię. I pojawiły się bolesne i złośliwe wrzody na ludziach, którzy mieli znamię bestii, i na tych, którzy oddali pokłon jej wizerunkowi.
3 A drugi anioł wylał swoją czaszę na morze i stało się ono jak krew zmarłego. I każda dusza żywa umarła w morzu.
4 A trzeci anioł wylał swoją czaszę na rzeki i źródła wód, i przemieniły się w krew.
5 I usłyszałem anioła wód mówiącego: Sprawiedliwy jesteś, Panie, który jesteś i który byłeś, święty, że tak osądziłeś.
6 Ponieważ wylali krew świętych i proroków, dałeś im również krew do picia, bo na to zasłużyli.
7 I usłyszałem, jak inny mówił od ołtarza: Tak, Panie Boże Wszechmogący, prawdziwe i sprawiedliwe są twoje wyroki.
8 A czwarty anioł wylał swoją czaszę na słońce i pozwolono mu przypalać ludzi ogniem.
9 I ludzie zostali popaleni wielkim żarem, i bluźnili imieniu Boga, który ma władzę nad tymi plagami, a nie pokutowali, aby oddać mu chwałę.
10 A piąty anioł wylał swoją czaszę na tron bestii i jej królestwo pogrążyło się w ciemności, a ludzie gryźli z bólu języki.
11 I bluźnili Bogu nieba z powodu swoich bólów i wrzodów, lecz nie pokutowali ze swoich czynów.
12 A szósty anioł wylał swoją czaszę na wielką rzekę Eufrat. I wyschła jej woda, aby została przygotowana droga dla królów ze Wschodu.
13 I zobaczyłem trzy duchy nieczyste jakby żaby, które wychodziły z paszczy smoka i z paszczy bestii, i z ust fałszywego proroka.
14 A są to duchy demonów, które czynią cuda i wychodzą do królów ziemi i na cały świat, aby ich zgromadzić na wojnę w wielki dzień Boga Wszechmogącego.
15 Oto przychodzę jak złodziej. Błogosławiony, kto czuwa i strzeże swoich szat, aby nie chodził nago i aby nie widziano jego hańby.
16 I zgromadził ich na miejsce zwane po hebrajsku Armageddon.
17 A siódmy anioł wylał swoją czaszę w powietrze. I ze świątyni nieba, od tronu rozległ się donośny głos, który powiedział: Stało się!
18 I nastąpiły głosy i gromy, i błyskawice, i nastało wielkie trzęsienie ziemi, jakiego nie było, odkąd człowiek jest na ziemi, tak potężne było to trzęsienie ziemi.
19 A wielkie miasto rozpadło się na trzy części i runęły miasta narodów. I został wspomniany przed Bogiem wielki Babilon, aby dać mu kielich wina zapalczywości swego gniewu.
20 Pierzchły wszystkie wyspy i gór już nie znaleziono.
21 I spadł z nieba na ludzi wielki grad o wadze około jednego talentu. A ludzie bluźnili Bogu z powodu plagi gradu, bo plaga ta była bardzo wielka.

REVELATION 16

The Bowls of God's Anger

1 From the temple I heard a voice shout to the seven angels, “Go and empty the seven bowls of God's anger on the earth.”

2  t The first angel emptied his bowl on the earth. At once ugly and painful sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped the idol.

3 The second angel emptied his bowl on the sea. At once the sea turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.
4  t The third angel emptied his bowl into the rivers and streams. At once they turned to blood.

5 Then I heard the angel, who has power over water, say,
“You have always been,
and you always will be
the holy God.
You had the right
to judge in this way.

6 They poured out the bloodt
of your people
and your prophets.
So you gave them blood
to drink as they deserve!”

7 After this, I heard
the altar shout,
“Yes, Lord God All-Powerful,
your judgments are honest
and fair.”
8 The fourth angel emptied his bowl on the sun, and it began to scorch people like fire.

9 Everyone was scorched by its great heat, and all of them cursed the name of God who had power over these terrible troubles. But no one turned to God and praised him.
10  t The fifth angel emptied his bowl on the throne of the beast. At once darkness covered its kingdom, and its people began biting their tongues in pain.

11 And because of their painful sores, they cursed the God who rules in heaven. But still they did not stop doing evil things.
12  t The sixth angel emptied his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it completely dried up to make a road for the kings from the east. 13 An evil spirit that looked like a frog came out of the mouth of the dragon. One also came out of the mouth of the beast, and another out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 These evil spirits had the power to work miracles. They went to every king on earth, to bring them together for a war against God All-Powerful. But that will be the day of God's great victory.

15  t Remember Christ says, “When I come, it will surprise you like a thief! But God will bless you, if you are awake and ready. Then you won't have to walk around naked and be ashamed.”

16  t Those armies came together in a place that in Hebrew is called Armagedon.t
17 As soon as the seventh angel emptied his bowl in the air, a loud voice from the throne in the temple shouted, “It's done!” 18 t There were flashes of lightning, roars of thunder, and the worst earthquake in all history. 19 t The great city of Babylon split into three parts, and the cities of other nations fell. So God made Babylon drink from the wine cup filled with his anger. 20 t Every island ran away, and the mountains disappeared. 21 t Hailstones, weighing about 50 kilograms each, fell from the sky on people. Finally, the people cursed God, because the hail was so terrible.
