Семь чаш Божьей ярости
1 Затем я услышал громкий голос из храма, говорящий семи ангелам:
– Идите и вылейте семь чаш Божьей ярости на землю.
2 Первый ангел пошел и вылил содержимое своей чаши на сушу. После этого у людей, имеющих клеймо зверя и поклоняющихся его изображению, появились ужасные и болезненные нарывы.
3 Второй ангел вылил содержимое своей чаши в море, и вода моря превратилась в кровь, напоминающую кровь мертвеца, и все живое в море умерло.
4 Третий ангел вылил содержимое своей чаши на реки и на источники вод, и те также превратились в кровь.
5 Я слышал, как ангел, имеющий власть над водами, сказал:
– Справедлив Ты,
Тот, Кто есть и Кто был, Святой,
потому что Ты так судил.
6 Ведь они пролили кровь святых и пророков,
и Ты дал им пить кровь, как они и заслужили.
7 И я услышал, как голос от жертвенника сказал:
– Да, Господь Бог Вседержитель,
Твои суды истинны и справедливы!
8 Четвертый ангел вылил содержимое своей чаши на солнце, и солнцу дано было палить людей огнем.
9 Их жгла невыносимая жара, и они проклинали Имя Бога, имеющего власть над этими бедствиями. Но они не раскаялись и не воздали Ему славу.
10 Пятый ангел вылил содержимое своей чаши на трон зверя, и все царство зверя погрузилось во тьму. Люди от боли кусали свои языки
11 и проклинали за свою боль и свои раны Бога небесного, но не раскаялись в своих делах.
12 Шестой ангел вылил содержимое своей чаши в великую реку Евфрат. Вода в этой реке высохла, чтобы был готов путь царям с востока.
13 Потом я увидел, как из пасти дракона, из пасти зверя и изо рта лжепророка вышли три нечистых духа, похожие на лягушек.
14 Это духи демонов, совершающие знамения. Они отправляются к царям всей земли, чтобы собрать их на битву в великий День Бога Вседержителя.
15 – Вот! Я приду неожиданно, как вор! Блажен тот, кто бодрствует и хранит свою одежду, чтобы ему не ходить нагим, выставляя напоказ свою срамоту.
16 Они собрали всех царей на место, называемое по-еврейски Армагеддон.
17 Седьмой ангел вылил содержимое своей чаши в воздух, и из храма от трона прозвучал громкий голос:
– Совершилось!
18 Тогда засверкали молнии, зазвучали голоса, загремел гром, и произошло сильное землетрясение. Такого мощного землетрясения не было за все время существования людей на земле! Столь великим было это землетрясение!
19 Великий город раскололся на три части, и города народов пали. Так Бог не забыл великий Вавилон, Он дал ему выпить чашу, полную вина Его яростного гнева.
20 Исчезли все острова, и гор больше не стало.
21 На людей с небес падал град весом в один талант, и люди проклинали Бога за это бедствие с градом, потому что оно было совершенно ужасным.
REVELATION 16
The Bowls of God's Anger
1 From the temple I heard a voice shout to the seven angels, “Go and empty the seven bowls of God's anger on the earth.”
2 t The first angel emptied his bowl on the earth. At once ugly and painful sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped the idol.
3 The second angel emptied his bowl on the sea. At once the sea turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.
4 t The third angel emptied his bowl into the rivers and streams. At once they turned to blood.
5 Then I heard the angel, who has power over water, say,
“You have always been,
and you always will be
the holy God.
You had the right
to judge in this way.
6 They poured out the bloodt
of your people
and your prophets.
So you gave them blood
to drink as they deserve!”
7 After this, I heard
the altar shout,
“Yes, Lord God All-Powerful,
your judgments are honest
and fair.”
8 The fourth angel emptied his bowl on the sun, and it began to scorch people like fire.
9 Everyone was scorched by its great heat, and all of them cursed the name of God who had power over these terrible troubles. But no one turned to God and praised him.
10 t The fifth angel emptied his bowl on the throne of the beast. At once darkness covered its kingdom, and its people began biting their tongues in pain.
11 And because of their painful sores, they cursed the God who rules in heaven. But still they did not stop doing evil things.
12 t The sixth angel emptied his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it completely dried up to make a road for the kings from the east. 13 An evil spirit that looked like a frog came out of the mouth of the dragon. One also came out of the mouth of the beast, and another out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 These evil spirits had the power to work miracles. They went to every king on earth, to bring them together for a war against God All-Powerful. But that will be the day of God's great victory.
15 t Remember Christ says, “When I come, it will surprise you like a thief! But God will bless you, if you are awake and ready. Then you won't have to walk around naked and be ashamed.”
16 t Those armies came together in a place that in Hebrew is called Armagedon.t
17 As soon as the seventh angel emptied his bowl in the air, a loud voice from the throne in the temple shouted, “It's done!” 18 t There were flashes of lightning, roars of thunder, and the worst earthquake in all history. 19 t The great city of Babylon split into three parts, and the cities of other nations fell. So God made Babylon drink from the wine cup filled with his anger. 20 t Every island ran away, and the mountains disappeared. 21 t Hailstones, weighing about 50 kilograms each, fell from the sky on people. Finally, the people cursed God, because the hail was so terrible.
