Bảy bát thịnh nộ của Đức Chúa Trời

1 Bấy giờ, tôi nghe một tiếng lớn từ đền thờ bảo bảy thiên sứ rằng: “Hãy đi đổ bảy bát thịnh nộ của Đức Chúa Trời xuống đất.”

2 Thiên sứ thứ nhất đi đổ bát mình xuống đất thì có những ung nhọt độc và đau nhức xuất hiện trên những người có dấu con thú và thờ lạy hình tượng nó.t

3 Thiên sứ thứ hai đổ bát mình trên biển thì biển trở nên như máu người chết; và tất cả sinh vật trong biển đều chết hết.
4 Thiên sứ thứ ba đổ bát mình trên các sông và các nguồn nước thì chúng biến thành máu.t

5 Tôi nghe thiên sứ của nước nói rằng:
“Lạy Đấng Thánh, ĐẤNG HIỆN CÓ, ĐÃ CÓ, Ngài là công chính,
Vì Ngài đã xét đoán những điều nầy;

6 Bởi chúng đã làm đổ máu những thánh đồ và các nhà tiên tri,
Nên Ngài đã cho chúng uống máu.
Thật là đáng lắm!”

7 Rồi tôi nghe tiếng từ bàn thờ nói rằng:
“Thật vậy, lạy Chúa là Đức Chúa Trời Toàn Năng,
Những sự phán xét của Ngài đều chân thật và công minh.”
8 Thiên sứ thứ tư đổ bát mình trên mặt trời thì mặt trời được phép dùng lửa thiêu đốt loài người.

9 Loài người bị hơi nóng dữ dội thiêu đốt và xúc phạm đến danh Đức Chúa Trời, là Đấng có quyền trên các tai họa nầy, nhưng họ cũng không ăn năn để tôn vinh Ngài.
10 Thiên sứ thứ năm đổ bát mình trên ngai con thú, vương quốc của nó liền bị tối, và người ta cắn lưỡi vì đau đớn.t

11 Họ xúc phạm đến Đức Chúa Trời trên trời vì sự đau đớn và ung nhọt của mình, nhưng không ăn năn những việc mình làm.
12 Thiên sứ thứ sáu đổ bát mình trên sông Ơ-phơ-rát, sông liền cạn khô để chuẩn bị lối đi cho các vua phương đông.t 13 Tôi thấy từ miệng con rồng, miệng con thú và miệng kẻ tiên tri giả có ba tà linh giống như ếch nhái đi ra. 14 Chúng là linh của ma quỷ, thực hiện các dấu lạ, và đi đến với các vua của cả thế gian để tụ họp họ lại cho chiến trận vào ngày trọng đại của Đức Chúa Trời Toàn Năng. 15 “Kìa, Ta đến như kẻ trộm, phước cho người nào tỉnh thức và giữ gìn y phục mình để khỏi đi lõa lồ, không bị người ta thấy sự xấu hổ của mình!” t

16 Chúng tụ họp các vua tại một chỗ mà tiếng Hê-bơ-rơ gọi là Ha-ma-ghê-đôn.t
17 Thiên sứ thứ bảy đổ bát mình trong không khí thì có một tiếng lớn từ ngai trong đền thờ nói rằng: “Xong rồi!” 18 Liền có những tia chớp, tiếng nói, tiếng sấm và động đất lớn; động đất lớn đến nỗi từ khi có loài người trên đất chưa từng có như vậy.t 19 Thành phố vĩ đại bị chia làm ba; còn các thành phố của các dân tộc đều đổ xuống. Đức Chúa Trời nhớ đến Ba-by-lôn vĩ đại, để cho nó uống chén rượu thịnh nộ lôi đình của Ngài.t 20 Tất cả các đảo đều chạy trốn, các núi biến mất.t 21 Những hạt mưa đá lớn, nặng khoảng bốn mươi ki-lô-gam,t từ trời rơi xuống loài người, loài người xúc phạm đến Đức Chúa Trời bởi tai họa mưa đá ấy, vì đó là một tai họa khủng khiếp.t

Revelation 16

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go ye, and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth.2 And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and it became a noisome and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that worshipped his image.3 And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, even the things that were in the sea.4 And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters; and it became blood.5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus judge:6 for they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy.7 And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.8 And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.9 And men were scorched men with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.10 And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.12 And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might by made ready for the kings that come from the sunrising.13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs:14 for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.15 (Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walked naked, and they see his shame.)16 And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Har-magedon.17 And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done:18 and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.21 And great hail, every stone about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.
