1 Sen jälkeen minä kuulin ikäänkuin kansan paljouden suuren äänen taivaassa sanovan: "Halleluja! Pelastus ja kunnia ja voima on Jumalan, meidän Jumalamme. 2 Sillä totiset ja vanhurskaat ovat hänen tuomionsa; sillä hän on tuominnut sen suuren porton, joka turmeli maan haureudellaan, ja on kostanut ja on vaatinut hänen kädestänsä palvelijainsa veren." 3 Ja he sanoivat toistamiseen: "Halleluja!" Sillä Herra, meidän Jumalamme, Kaikkivaltias, on ottanut hallituksen. 7 Iloitkaamme ja riemuitkaamme ja antakaamme kunnia hänelle, sillä Karitsan häät ovat tulleet, ja hänen vaimonsa on itsensä valmistanut. 8 Ja hänen annettiin pukeutua liinavaatteeseen, hohtavaan ja puhtaaseen: se liina on pyhien vanhurskautus." 9 Ja hän sanoi minulle: "Kirjoita: Autuaat ne, jotka ovat kutsutut Karitsan hääaterialle!" Vielä hän sanoi minulle: "Nämä sanat ovat totiset Jumalan sanat". 10 Ja minä lankesin hänen jalkojensa juureen, kumartaen rukoillakseni häntä. Mutta hän sanoi minulle: "Varo, ettet sitä tee; minä olen sinun ja sinun veljiesi kanssapalvelija, niiden, joilla on Jeesuksen todistus; kumarra ja rukoile Jumalaa. Sillä Jeesuksen todistus on profetian henki." 11 Ja minä näin taivaan auenneena. Ja katso: valkoinen hevonen, ja sen selässä istuvan nimi on Uskollinen ja Totinen, ja hän tuomitsee ja sotii vanhurskaudessa. 12 Ja hänen silmänsä olivat niinkuin tulen liekit, ja hänen päässään oli monta kruunua, ja hänellä oli kirjoitettuna nimi, jota ei tiedä kukaan muu kuin hän itse, 13 ja hänellä oli yllään vereen kastettu vaippa, ja nimi, jolla häntä kutsutaan, on Jumalan Sana. 14 Ja häntä seurasivat ratsastaen valkoisilla hevosilla taivaan sotajoukot, puettuina valkeaan ja puhtaaseen pellavavaatteeseen. 15 Ja hänen suustaan lähtee terävä miekka, että hän sillä löisi kansoja. Ja hän on kaitseva heitä rautaisella valtikalla, ja hän polkee kaikkivaltiaan Jumalan vihan kiivauden viinikuurnan. 16 Ja hänellä on vaipassa kupeellaan kirjoitettuna nimi: "Kuningasten Kuningas ja herrain Herra".

Revelation 19

1 After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,
“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

2 because his judgments are true and just.t
For he has judgedt the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality,
and has avenged the blood of his servantst poured out by her own hands!”t
3 Thent a second time the crowd shouted, “Hallelujah!” The smoke rises from her forever and ever.t

4 The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures threw themselves to the groundt and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne, saying: “Amen! Hallelujah!”

5 Thent a voice came from the throne, saying:
“Praise our God
all you his servants,
and all you who fear Him,
both the small and the great!”

The Wedding Celebration of the Lamb

6 Thent I heard what sounded like the voice of a vast throng, like the roar of many waters and like loud crashes of thunder. They were shouting:t
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God,s the All-Powerful,t reigns!

7 Let us rejoicet and exult
and give him glory,
because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.

8 She was permitted to be dressed in bright, clean, fine linen”t (for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints).s
9 Thent the angelt said to me, “Write the following: Blessed are those who are invited to the banquet at the wedding celebration of the Lamb!” He also said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

10 Sot I threw myself downt at his feet to worship him, butt he said, “Do not do this!t I am onlyt a fellow servantt with you and your brotherst who hold to the testimony aboutt Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

The Son of God Goes to War

11 Thent I saw heaven opened and here camet a white horse! Thet one riding it was called “Faithful” and “True,” and with justicet he judges and goes to war.12 His eyes are like a fieryt flame and there are many diadem crownsts on his head. He hast a name writtent that no one knows except himself.13 He is dressed in clothing dippedst in blood, and he is calledt the Word of God.14 Thet armies that are in heaven, dressed in white, clean, fine linen,t were following him on white horses.15 From his mouth extends a sharp sword, so that with it he can strike the nations.tHetwill ruletthem with an iron rod,ts and he stomps the winepresss of the furioust wrath of God, the All-Powerful.t

16 He has a name written on his clothing and on his thigh: “King of kings and Lord of lords.”

17 Thent I saw one angel standing int the sun, and he shouted in a loud voice to all the birds flying high in the sky:t
“Come, gather around for the great banquett of God,

18 to eatt your fillt of the flesh of kings,
the flesh of generals,t
the flesh of powerful people,
the flesh of horses and those who ride them,
and the flesh of all people, both free and slave,t
and small and great!”
19 Thent I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to do battle with the one who rode the horse and with his army.20 Nowt the beast was seized, and along with him the false prophet who had performed the signs on his behalft – signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur.t

21 Thet others were killed by the sword that extended from the mouth of the one who rode the horse, and all the birds gorgedt themselves with their flesh.
