1 «به فرشته کلیسای در افسس بنویس که این را میگوید او که هفت ستاره را بدست راست خود دارد و در میان هفت چراغدان طلامی خرامد.2 میدانم اعمال تو را و مشقت و صبرتو را و اینکه متحمل اشرار نمی توانی شد و آنانی را که خود را رسولان میخوانند و نیستندآزمودی و ایشان را دروغگو یافتی؛3 و صبرداری و بخاطر اسم من تحمل کردی و خسته نگشتی.4 «لکن بحثی بر تو دارم که محبت نخستین خود را ترک کردهای.5 پس بخاطر آر که از کجاافتادهای و توبه کن و اعمال نخست را بعمل آوروالا بزودی نزد تو میآیم و چراغدانت را از مکانش نقل میکنم اگر توبه نکنی.6 لکن این راداری که اعمال نقولاویان را دشمن داری، چنانکه من نیز از آنها نفرت دارم.7 «آنکه گوش دارد بشنود که روح به کلیساهاچه میگوید: هرکه غالب آید، به او این را خواهم بخشید که از درخت حیاتی که در وسط فردوس خداست بخورد.8 «و به فرشته کلیسای در اسمیرنا بنویس که این را میگوید آن اول و آخر که مرده شد و زنده گشت.9 اعمال و تنگی و مفلسی تو را میدانم، لکن دولتمند هستی و کفر آنانی را که خود رایهود میگویند و نیستند بلکه از کنیسه شیطانند.10 از آن زحماتی که خواهی کشید مترس. اینک ابلیس بعضی از شما را در زندان خواهد انداخت تا تجربه کرده شوید و مدت ده روز زحمت خواهید کشید. لکن تا به مرگ امین باش تا تاج حیات را به تو دهم.11 آنکه گوش دارد بشنود که روح به کلیساها چه میگوید: هرکه غالب آید ازموت ثانی ضرر نخواهد یافت.12 «و به فرشته کلیسای در پرغامس بنویس این را میگوید او که شمشیر دودمه تیز را دارد.13 اعمال و مسکن تو را میدانم که تخت شیطان در آنجاست و اسم مرا محکم داری و ایمان مراانکار ننمودی، نه هم در ایامی که انطیپاس شهیدامین من در میان شما در جایی که شیطان ساکن است کشته شد.14 لکن بحث کمی بر تو دارم که در آنجا اشخاصی را داری که متمسکند به تعلیم بلعام که بالاق را آموخت که در راه بنیاسرائیل سنگی مصادم بیندازد تا قربانی های بتها رابخورند و زنا کنند.15 و همچنین کسانی را داری که تعلیم نقولاویان را پذیرفتهاند.16 پس توبه کن والا بزودی نزد تو میآیم و به شمشیر زبان خود باایشان جنگ خواهم کرد.17 آنکه گوش دارد، بشنود که روح به کلیساها چه میگوید: و آنکه غالب آید، از من مخفی به وی خواهم داد وسنگی سفید به او خواهم بخشید که بر آن سنگ اسمی جدید مرقوم است که احدی آن رانمی داند جز آنکه آن را یافته باشد.18 «و به فرشته کلیسای در طیاتیرا بنویس این را میگوید پسر خدا که چشمان او چون شعله آتش و پایهای او چون برنج صیقلی است.19 اعمال و محبت و خدمت و ایمان و صبر تو رامی دانم و اینکه اعمال آخر تو بیشتر از اول است.20 لکن بحثی بر تو دارم که آن زن ایزابل نامی راراه میدهی که خود را نبیه میگوید و بندگان مراتعلیم داده، اغوا میکند که مرتکب زنا و خوردن قربانی های بتها بشوند.21 و به او مهلت دادم تاتوبه کند، اما نمی خواهد از زنای خود توبه کند.22 اینک او را بر بستری میاندازم و آنانی را که بااو زنا میکنند، به مصیبتی سخت مبتلا میگردانم اگر از اعمال خود توبه نکنند،23 و اولادش را به قتل خواهم رسانید. آنگاه همه کلیساها خواهنددانست که منم امتحان کننده جگرها و قلوب و هریکی از شما را برحسب اعمالش خواهم داد.24 لکن باقی ماندگان شما را که در طیاتیرا هستیدو این تعلیم را نپذیرفتهاید و عمقهای شیطان راچنانکه میگویند نفهمیدهاید، بار دیگری بر شمانمی گذارم،25 جز آنکه به آنچه دارید تا هنگام آمدن من تمسک جویید.26 و هرکه غالب آید واعمال مرا تا انجام نگاه دارد، او را بر امت هاقدرت خواهم بخشید27 تا ایشان را به عصای آهنین حکمرانی کند و مثل کوزه های کوزهگرخرد خواهند شد، چنانکه من نیز از پدر خودیافتهام.28 و به او ستاره صبح را خواهم بخشید.29 آنکه گوش دارد بشنود که روح به کلیساها چه میگوید.
REVELATION 2
The Letter to Ephesus
1 This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Ephesus:
I am the one who holds the seven stars in my right hand, and I walk among the seven gold lampstands. Listen to what I say.
2 I know everything you have done, including your hard work and how you have endured. I know you won't put up with anyone who is evil. When some people pretended to be apostles, you tested them and found out they were liars.
3 You have endured and gone through hard times because of me, yet you have not given up.
4 But I do have something against you! And it is this: You don't have as much love as you used to. 5 Think about where you have fallen from, and then turn back and do as you did at first. If you don't turn back, I will come and take away your lampstand.
6 But there is one thing you are doing right. You hate what the Nicolaitanst are doing, and so do I.
7 t If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. I will let everyone who wins the victory eat from the life-giving tree in God's wonderful garden.The Letter to Smyrna
8 t This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Smyrna:
I am the first and the last. I died, but now I am alive! Listen to what I say.
9 I know how much you suffer and how poor you are, but you are rich. I also know the cruel things being said about you by people who claim to be God's people. But they are not really God's people. They are a group that belongs to Satan.
10 Don't worry about what you will suffer. The devil will throw some of you into jail, and you will be tested and made to suffer for ten days. But if you are faithful until you die, I will reward you with a glorious life.t
11 t If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. Whoever wins the victory will not be hurt by the second death.tThe Letter to Pergamum
12 This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Pergamum:
I am the one who has the sharp double-edged sword! Listen to what I say.
13 I know you live where Satan has his throne.t But you have kept true to my name. Right there where Satan lives, my faithful witness Antipast was taken from you and put to death. Even then you did not give up your faith in me.
14 t I do have a few things against you. Some of you are following the teaching of Balaam.t Long ago he told Balak to teach the people of Israel to eat food that had been offered to idols and to be immoral. 15 Now some of you are following the teaching of the Nicolaitans.t
16 Turn back! If you don't, I will come quickly and fight against these people. And my words will cut like a sword.
17 t If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To everyone who wins the victory, I will give some of the hidden food.t I will also give each one a white stonet with a new namet written on it. No one will know that name except the one who is given the stone.The Letter to Thyatira
18 This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Thyatira:
I am the Son of God! My eyes are like flames of fire, and my feet are like bronze. Listen to what I say.
19 I know everything about you, including your love, your faith, your service, and how you have endured. I know you are doing more now than you have ever done before. 20 t But I still have something against you because of that woman Jezebel.t She calls herself a prophet, and you let her teach and mislead my servants to do immoral things and to eat food offered to idols.
21 I gave her a chance to turn from her sins, but she did not want to stop doing these immoral things.
22 I am going to strike down Jezebel. Everyone who does these immoral things with her will also be punished, if they don't stop.
23 t I will even kill her followers.t Then all the churches will see that I know everyone's thoughts and feelings. I will treat each of you as you deserve.
24 Some of you in Thyatira don't follow Jezebel's teaching. You don't know anything about what her followers call the “deep secrets of Satan.” So I won't burden you down with any other commands.
25 But until I come, you must hold firmly to the teaching you have.
26 t I will give power over the nations to everyone who wins the victory and keeps on obeying me until the end.
27-28 I will give each of them the same power my Father has given me. They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash those nations to pieces like clay pots. I will also give them the morning star.t
29 If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.
