Mensaje a la iglesia de Éfeso
1 »Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Éfeso: Así dice el que lleva siete estrellas en su mano derecha y anda en medio de los siete candeleros de oro:
2 »Yo conozco tus obras, tu arduo trabajo y tu paciencia. Sé que no soportas a los malvados, que has puesto a prueba a los que dicen ser apóstoles y no lo son, y que has descubierto que son unos mentirosos.3 Por causa de mi nombre has resistido, sufrido y trabajado arduamente, sin rendirte.4 Pero tengo contra ti que has abandonado tu primer amor.5 Así que ponte a pensar en qué has fallado, y arrepiéntete, y vuelve a actuar como al principio. De lo contrario, vendré a ti y, si no te arrepientes, quitaré tu candelero de su lugar.6 Pero tienes algo a tu favor: que no soportas las obras de los nicolaítas, las cuales tampoco yo soporto.7 El que tenga oídos, que oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al que salga vencedor, le permitiré comer del árbol de la vida,t el cual está en medio del paraíso de Dios.
Mensaje a la iglesia de Esmirna
8 »Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Esmirna: Así dice el primero y el último,t el que estuvo muerto y ha vuelto a vivir:
9 »Yo conozco tus obras, tus sufrimientos, y tu pobreza (aunque en realidad eres rico). Sé cómo te calumnian los que dicen ser judíos, pero que en realidad no son sino una sinagoga de Satanás.10 No tengas miedo de lo que vas a sufrir, pues el diablo pondrá a prueba a algunos de ustedes y los echará en la cárcel, y allí tendrán que sufrir durante diez días. Tú sé fiel hasta la muerte, y yo te daré la corona de la vida.11 El que tenga oídos, que oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: El que salga vencedor, no sufrirá el daño de la segunda muerte.t

12 »Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Pérgamo: Así dice el que tiene la espada aguda de doble filo:
13 »Yo sé dónde vives, y dónde está el trono de Satanás. Sin embargo, te mantienes fiel a mi nombre, y no has negado mi fe, ni siquiera cuando a Antipas, mi testigo fiel, lo mataron en esa ciudad, donde vive Satanás.14 Pero tengo algunas cosas contra ti. Tienes contigo a los que se aferran a la doctrina de Balaam, el que enseñó a Balac a poner tropiezos a los hijos de Israel, a hacerlos comer de lo sacrificado a los ídolos, y a caer en inmoralidades sexuales.t15 También tienes contigo a los que se aferran a la doctrina de los nicolaítas.16 Así que, ¡arrepiéntete! De lo contrario, pronto vendré a ti, y con la espada de mi boca pelearé contra ellos.17 El que tenga oídos, que oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: Al que salga vencedor, le daré a comer del maná escondido,t y le daré también una piedrecita blanca; en ella está escrito un nombre nuevo, que nadie conoce sino el que lo recibe.

18 »Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Tiatira: Así dice el Hijo de Dios, cuyos ojos son como una llama de fuego, y cuyos pies se asemejan al bronce pulido:
19 »Yo conozco tus obras, tu amor, y tu fe; tu servicio y tu paciencia. También sé que tus últimas obras son mejores que las primeras.20 Pero tengo algunas cosas contra ti: Tú toleras a Jezabel,t esa mujer que se llama profetisa, pero que seduce a mis siervos y los lleva a incurrir en inmoralidad sexual y a comer lo sacrificado a los ídolos.21 Le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta, pero no quiere renunciar a su inmoralidad sexual.22 Por tanto, a ella y a los que con ella adulteran los haré caer en cama; y si no se arrepienten de sus malas obras, los haré sufrir en gran manera.23 Y heriré de muerte a sus hijos, y todas las iglesias sabrán que yo soy el que escudriña la mente y el corazón;t y a cada uno de ustedes le daré según lo que haya hecho.t24 Pero a ustedes y a los demás que están en Tiatira, y que no siguen esa doctrina ni han conocido lo que ellos llaman “las profundidades de Satanás”, yo les digo que no les impondré ninguna carga más;25 pero deben conservar lo que tienen hasta que yo venga.26 Al que salga vencedor y cumpla hasta el final con lo que yo mando, le daré autoridad sobre las naciones,27 la misma que he recibido de mi Padre. Y gobernará a las naciones con cetro de hierro, y las despedazará como a un vaso de alfarero.t28 Además, le daré la estrella de la mañana.29 El que tenga oídos, que oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
REVELATION 2
The Letter to Ephesus
1 This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Ephesus:
I am the one who holds the seven stars in my right hand, and I walk among the seven gold lampstands. Listen to what I say.
2 I know everything you have done, including your hard work and how you have endured. I know you won't put up with anyone who is evil. When some people pretended to be apostles, you tested them and found out they were liars.
3 You have endured and gone through hard times because of me, yet you have not given up.
4 But I do have something against you! And it is this: You don't have as much love as you used to. 5 Think about where you have fallen from, and then turn back and do as you did at first. If you don't turn back, I will come and take away your lampstand.
6 But there is one thing you are doing right. You hate what the Nicolaitanst are doing, and so do I.
7 t If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. I will let everyone who wins the victory eat from the life-giving tree in God's wonderful garden.The Letter to Smyrna
8 t This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Smyrna:
I am the first and the last. I died, but now I am alive! Listen to what I say.
9 I know how much you suffer and how poor you are, but you are rich. I also know the cruel things being said about you by people who claim to be God's people. But they are not really God's people. They are a group that belongs to Satan.
10 Don't worry about what you will suffer. The devil will throw some of you into jail, and you will be tested and made to suffer for ten days. But if you are faithful until you die, I will reward you with a glorious life.t
11 t If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. Whoever wins the victory will not be hurt by the second death.tThe Letter to Pergamum
12 This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Pergamum:
I am the one who has the sharp double-edged sword! Listen to what I say.
13 I know you live where Satan has his throne.t But you have kept true to my name. Right there where Satan lives, my faithful witness Antipast was taken from you and put to death. Even then you did not give up your faith in me.
14 t I do have a few things against you. Some of you are following the teaching of Balaam.t Long ago he told Balak to teach the people of Israel to eat food that had been offered to idols and to be immoral. 15 Now some of you are following the teaching of the Nicolaitans.t
16 Turn back! If you don't, I will come quickly and fight against these people. And my words will cut like a sword.
17 t If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To everyone who wins the victory, I will give some of the hidden food.t I will also give each one a white stonet with a new namet written on it. No one will know that name except the one who is given the stone.The Letter to Thyatira
18 This is what you must write to the angel of the church in Thyatira:
I am the Son of God! My eyes are like flames of fire, and my feet are like bronze. Listen to what I say.
19 I know everything about you, including your love, your faith, your service, and how you have endured. I know you are doing more now than you have ever done before. 20 t But I still have something against you because of that woman Jezebel.t She calls herself a prophet, and you let her teach and mislead my servants to do immoral things and to eat food offered to idols.
21 I gave her a chance to turn from her sins, but she did not want to stop doing these immoral things.
22 I am going to strike down Jezebel. Everyone who does these immoral things with her will also be punished, if they don't stop.
23 t I will even kill her followers.t Then all the churches will see that I know everyone's thoughts and feelings. I will treat each of you as you deserve.
24 Some of you in Thyatira don't follow Jezebel's teaching. You don't know anything about what her followers call the “deep secrets of Satan.” So I won't burden you down with any other commands.
25 But until I come, you must hold firmly to the teaching you have.
26 t I will give power over the nations to everyone who wins the victory and keeps on obeying me until the end.
27-28 I will give each of them the same power my Father has given me. They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash those nations to pieces like clay pots. I will also give them the morning star.t
29 If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.
